Miro is an American platform, and I am opting out of all products and services from this country. 

Hello! I'm using the Miro platform, and unfortunately, after hours of editing a presentation, I realized that I can't add videos directly from my files. I need to put them on a video platform so that I can share them on Miro. When will it be possible to add videos without having to upload to other platforms?

 I have been using Miro tables where I need each column to represent one week; two header rows at the top of the table contain the week number and the week day.  I can create the header info the hard way by manually typing in each date in each cell of the Miro table.  Eventually, I figured out I could use excel to use simple formulas to calculate the week to week value as well as a second formula to create the week number in two rows on top of each other (see excel screen shot).  I didn’t have to manually create the rolling date field because formulas can do it across whatever range I wanted.I would then copy and paste these two rows calculated and created in excel and paste into the Miro board. As I understand it it would automatically copy the excel info as plain text.This was an important feature because then I didn’t have to manually add the week numbers and week days to the Miro board: i could do it in excel and then copy over and paste as text into the Miro board. However, Miro h

Hello! I use a free plan with which I can create and use 3 boards for free. A couple of days ago the system created a bunch of boards and my boards were blocked, now I can only view them, I can no longer edit them. Moreover, I can’t delete these new boards and it turns out that I can no longer use my own for work. What should I do about this? Because the site says that I can create up to 3 boards for FREE, but now the only way out is to purchase a paid version. Maybe someone has already encountered this problem, I will be glad for answer! 

As of around 11am this morning the two finger pinch for zoom isn’t working. I’ve switched back and forth between navigation modes, closed out and logged back in, but nothing is working. Anyone having this problem? Any fixes?

When I started the account my mouse scroll would zoom in and out. Then it would switch to scrolling up and down on the miro board and to zoom I have to use Ctrl+ scroll. It would then switch back to zooming with just the scroll a couple weeks later, and just this morning it switched back to Ctrl+ scroll to zoom. Does anyone know why my controls for mouse scroll wheel keep changing? Does anyone know how I can switch them back? I prefer just the scroll wheel to zoom.

HI,I’m a relative newbie to Miro, looking to drive its usage within my SME (130 people). One non-negotiable is the ability to backup/download all of our content so I can use it in the event Miro gets hacked, closes suddenly etc.I see lots of people asking this but no one seems to care. Why not? What am I missing? Thanks! 

This may be a stupid question but I want a simple line arrow that is not a connector so I can point to something on an image.  Everytime I use the connector, it wants to snap to the edge of the image. I want to point from the card to something within the image and I can’t seem to figure out how to do that.   Can someone please help? Nevermind - I tried a different way and this time it worked - I don’t know why I couldn’t get it to work before.  I wish I could delete now!

Hi eveyrone,I hope you all are doing great. My colleague has succesfully connected Okta to our Miro environment, the problem that I find right now, is that it only creates accounts with free accounts. As you can imagine it results in double work as now you need to add the user to the group in Okta and then in Miro you need to assign the license to the user.Do you know how I can edit that configuration or if there’s other place in Miro that can assign the licenses automatically?Thank you and have a great day!

I have the challenge, that we often do brainstorming the classic way. I mean we use sticky notes on whiteboard and after the workshop I have to digitize them. The issue is now, that when I enter them into my Miro board, I am always mentioned as the “Author“. I don’t want to leverage the Tagging feature nor add an shorthand symbol a text onto the sticky note to get around this. Rather to have the possibility to either change on bulk the author and/or while copy/past the entries I could select the author. The author would be user (person) that is a member of the board.

Hi team, I have 1 big and very important issue we are facing as a team.We as a team are never able to update colors of the icons we are using in Miro, which is quiet easy to use in Mural. Could you please check and improve this feature of yours soon? or else, we will have to switch back to Mural.Alternatively, please let us and enable us a workaround for this feature to work.Thank you, Raushan Raj(+91)-8792338744

ERDs don’t have the 3 dots to drag and drop rows and columns. How can I move rows/columns in ERDs? 

I had the starter plan so I could share one of my boards. I only had 3 boards. I cancelled the starter plan because supposedly under the free plan I could edit up to 3 boards.  Now the oldest of the three is marked as view only. I only have 3. Yes, my dashboard is set to “show all boards”. This is my old account associated to my old work email. I decided, Ok I’ll create a new account and upload the board backups and start fresh. I did that, and somehow now my new account is an associated team member of my old account. My new account does not have any of it’s own boards at all. I decided, Ok I’ll export one of the boards and go down to 2 boards, thinking this would unlock the one I need. That did not work.  I tried uploading the board I need to my new account for editing, but it wants me to upgrade. No, there’s clearly some bug with this order of actions on my account causing my boards to messed up. I’m not gonna upgrade to fix a bug. And of course I can’t get support on the free plan s

The zoom level for each click of my scroll wheel is wildly different when in my normal experience using Miro in web browser vs embedded in Zoom app.Is there a way to fix this that anyone knows about?  

I'm just super angry. I've spent hours on work, and now the miro app doesn't work! Is it global issue?

 Is there a template in Miro that can organize a lot of tasks in a table, similar to excel, and can create both tasks and subtasks? And where data can be managed by auto-numbering, filtering and grouping? I’m looking for a MS Teams template to manage high-level tasks and quickly retrieve project execution statistics.

To the Miro team,I was unable to export all of my Invision prototypes and screens, and I was hoping I could still have the ability to retrieve that work in order to boost my portfolio. I had linked to InVision prototypes to display my UX capabilities, and was late to exporting that work. Is there a way I can touch base with someone on the Miro team to collect my work? Thank You - Dan

I can’t access or edit my own team. I can access to other people’s teams but I don’t open my own account’s team. I think there is a problem.

Every time I try to work in Miro if stops responding to my inputs. Today it stopped allowing me to do any action such as has select, copy, type, or add a shape. Nothing. It only allows me to zoom in and out. In the past it did not release my drag and drop but stuck in drag mode no matter waht I did. I have tried 3 different browsers, endless reboots of my workstation, and upgraded Mac OS over several months 2 times. Why does Miro not work for me? Does anyone have a solution? Mt client insists on using it and I can’t get out of it but CAN’T do my Work!

Hi,I am brand new to Miro. I am a teacher, and I want to have all my boards for each class in a folder. It seems like they call them spaces, not folders in Miro. I cannot figure out how to move an existing board into a folder/space. Any help would be much appreciated. 

I want to change my current E-Mail address to a new one. The Conformation E-Mail arrives, but if I press the Button to confirm the new adress it always leads me to a page where I sign up for Miro and it does not confirm the change to my new E-Mail address, but wants me to create a new account.Has anyone had this problem and knows how to solve it?
