I have a board, where we have three frames, each of them are describing a user flow within a software. We collected feedback along this processes (pain points = red sticky notes, pontentials = blue sticky notes, actions = yellow sticky notes). I tried to create a simple Miro flow, to extract all sticky notes into a table, assigning a category based on the sticky notes color. The flow starts working, but the table stays empty, shows only one entry or I get an error message. The frame contains about 300 - 400 sticky notes. My prompt was: Please extract all the sticky notes from the selected frame. Organize the extracted text content into a single, cohesive table. The categories for the table rows should be determined by the **color** of the sticky note. Each unique color should become a separate category row in the table. The columns of the table should simply contain the text content of the sticky notes, grouped by their corresponding color category. Ensure the extracted text is accurate
Hello,I created a space using a premade blueprint. The goal is to have one location that houses the updates from each team member on their projects. Right now, the blueprint only goes up to “Team E” but what if I need to create “Team F”? How do I essentially copy the table format and ensure it is synced with all other tables in the space? I tried the copy sync but it just copies a table and not the data. Is there a way to add the data INTO the table? Not sure if my question makes sense.
Dear Miro Team,My name is Vanya, and I am a teacher working with students in Ukraine. I have been using Miro in my teaching practice for the past few years, and it has proven to be a truly effective platform for online and classroom collaboration. Its visual tools allow me to clearly organize materials, engage students in group work, and maintain their motivation.I recently learned that Miro is supporting Ukrainian educators by offering a free curriculum update. This initiative is extremely meaningful, and I would be very grateful if I could also be included in this program. Full access to all interactive features would allow me to develop more meaningful lessons, adapt tasks to different learning needs, and provide my students with a more dynamic and creative environment.Thank you very much for your continued support of both teachers and students. Your generosity really makes a difference in education during these difficult times.Best wishes,Vanya. ivangos20021213@gmail.com
My miro board is starting very zoomed in on a few areas. I want to be able to see everything and zoom extents outward to see the extent of everything in my project board. I am Mac based if that’s important. I did scale the PDF files I brought in to be larger, but I have never had this issue before in Miro. Help please. :)
Hi,I logged into my miro account his morning and noted my very large, very important miro boards are now missing. Can someone from Miro please look into and advise. Thanks.
is there a way to use the old thumbnail format when pasting a board link?our studio uses a board that links to multiple other boards and it’s so much harder to get an overview of where things are if it either displays the board immediately or when they just have the miro icon. with the old style of thumbnails it was so much easier to get a visual overview of what boards there are. with the new ones though it’s much harder since the thumbnail only shows the miro icon and you’d have to resort reading the small text to get what the board consists of. it’s also much more easier to get lost in the new board link as well since viewing the board goes full screen (instead of 2nd pic) and quite confusing that you need to press the “go to canvas” button to get back to the original instead of just going out of the board by clicking outside of it. i feel like the full-screen board is a bit of an unnecessary feature since if you are opening a new board to be in it and work on it you’d want to just
Hi Miro Community,I’m currently working with the free version of Miro and had a question. How can I set up text on a board so that multiple participants can simultaneously select and copy it?If this feature requires a paid plan, I’d be open to upgrading. Thanks in advance for your help!
Dear Miro Team,I hope you’re doing well.My name is Viktoriia, and I am a student from Ukraine. Thank you very much for your prompt response and for providing clear instructions regarding the discount program.I wanted to let you know that I have completed all the required steps — I started the Free Business Plan Trial using my email address and selected the monthly card payment option, just as requested.I am now looking forward to your confirmation and the next steps on your end.Warm regards,Viktoriia
Dear Miro Team,I am writing to you regarding the subscription plan. I recently discovered your wonderful platform and was impressed by its functionality. As a Ukrainian user, I learned that Miro provides free access to subscription plans for people from Ukraine. I haven’t purchased any plan yet, so I would like to know what steps I should take next to receive this opportunity.Thank you in advance,Viktoriia
Hi all,I use Miro for mind mapping and really appreciate its collaborative capabilities. However, I’m frustrated that when I add sticky notes, detailed notes, descriptions, images, or videos to child nodes, these objects remain visible even when I collapse the parent branch. My main goal is to write detailed notes and attach media to specific nodes, but keep everything organized by having all related content hide or show together with the branch. This seems like a fundamental feature for keeping complex maps tidy and organized, yet it isn’t available. Is there any workaround to achieve this in Miro, or has there been any official explanation for why this isn’t supported? I’d appreciate any guidance or insight from the community or the Miro team.
Hello!I keep seeing the message "Subscription failed to cancel" when I try to cancel my subscription. Every day, the system is attempting to charge my card, and I am being charged fees for unsuccessful transactions. However, I am not able to cancel the subscription myself. What should I do to stop these charges and successfully cancel my subscription? Please help me resolve this issue as soon as possible.Thank you!
Hello! I would like to request a refund for the subscription fee charged by Miro. After the free trial period, during which I did not use the subscription, I forgot to cancel it and the charge went through. On the same day, I canceled the plan, but I couldn’t find the support contact to request a refund for the charge. Could you please help me?
I have heard that Miro may offer complimentary licenses or support programs for individuals from Ukraine due to the ongoing situation. If such an option is available, I would be very grateful for the opportunity to receive access, as it would greatly assist me in my work and personal projects. Thank you very much for your support and understanding.I look forward to your response.
I seem to be still getting billed for a service that I have cancelled, I am unable to login to the account as it was cancelled and all I have was the confirmation that the account was cancelled in my email but still seeing charges on my credit card statement.
I was invited to a board as a Guest - I can access/interact/edit the board in the browser as required via a bookmarked link.I have just downloaded the Windows app expecting to see the board somewhere.I checked the board in the browser and it gives me the option to Unstar it but when I go to Starred, it’s not there so obviously I won’t see it in the app either. Can anyone provide some insight into what’s going on regardingseeing the board in my Starred items seeing the board in the app as well as the browser searching for the board in the appThanks in anticipation
Is it possible to assign a co-owner to a whole space instead of adding them board by board? Is there an higher-level permission that would allow this ?
All of my diagramming shapes and lines have moved away from the templates. It has happened to the entirety of my board so all of my work has been ruined
Hi ! New here :)I feel an option to add icons of various colors & shapes (not just emojis) , as well as a possibility to add custom tags or labels (similar to what you have with the sticky notes currently) would be a great addition to help organizing a mind map. (see example below)Adding a filter option to only show parts with specifics icons or labels would be great. The ability to quickly export the content of a mind map to another Miro document or in another format would also help. My team and I love using Miro because of the collaborative feature but the lack of those options for mind maps kind of forces us to use something else to take notes and organize our notes & ideas…
Hi,The pen thickness control slider is not appearing. I'm not in presentation mode. Thanks, Alex
I’ve just splashed out on a tablet to use for Miro. I have been using a Wacom pen tablet for years on Miro now and mostly it works very well, using it with a tablet and no keyboard seems a bit of nightmare at the moment…With a keyboard copying and pasting is easy. You find a pdf online or an image and you copy the image or the pdf link and paste into the board using ctrl+c, ctrl+v. How the hell do you do that without a keyboard?? Miro seems to only know how to paste Miro objects when I long press on the screen. A menu pops up with no option to paste! In fact, paste doesn’t seem to appear even if I copy an option from within the Miro board! I can duplicate, but not copy and paste. On a related issue, the embed tool doesn’t seem to be working very well either on touch screens… I’ve found it works on the the web browser version of Miro, but not on the windows app, it seems. Each time I click the tool it just flashes and closes immediately.Anyone have any thoughts about this? Thanks!
As I remember there was options for pasting excel- as grid- as tableright? However, right now, the excel content is not recognized and miro app pastes the latest miro-table I had copied. I am able to paste the excel content to other applications, but not in miro. I also tried the web versions in Chrome and Edge - in the web versions - same problem. However, I’m able to paste the content copied from Excel in other applications. My goal is to paste it as Miro Grid on my board.
How can I align the objects shown above so that the connector line is straight? I’ve tried moving the object manually, and using the align and auto-align features.
Hello, I just signed up for Miro and received an confirmation email, set password etc. When I sign in, the Miro icon persists on screen, but the app never loads.I have deleted my cache and tried this in Chrome, Edge and Safari - nothing works.Any tips on how to trouble-shoot please?Best Regards,Emma
Hi guys, we are using the Miro Starter edition and we need an auth token to access the Miro Board API, but we are not sure how to create one. Is it possible to generate an auth token for the live environment while using the Starter edition? If yes, could you please share the correct steps?
Do you have problems with landing decisions in your workplace? So do we! I have an idea for how we can make decisions at my workplace, without having to have long, drawn-out meetings. It goes as follows: Every stakeholder prepares a short pitch to what is the right decicion based on their point of view. They write one-two sentences in their section of the decision wheel. After everyone has pitched their point of view, everyone gets to put a marble in any of the sections of the wheel - the decision they believe is the correct one. If there are more than one section that has the same amount of marbles, all other sections of the wheel are removed, and they have to vote again - only amongst the sections that are left on the wheel. I am picturing that the wheel follows the laws of gravity, meaning that the section that gets the most marbles, ends up at the bottom of the wheel. I would love to create this decision wheel in Miro. Does anyone have any tips or templates for this?
