When Miro releases updates, I get these annoying “what’s new” popups all over the screen. I don’t want to see them - they get in the way of me actually using the board to get work done. How do I permanently disable these popups? I don’t see any options in preferences, anywere.
I noted yesterday that the option to select an area of a board as the board thumbnail has disappeared in the Edge browser.I reported this to the support team and will update this post as I hear more. While it is possible the support team will reply that this was never an option in Edge, I am fairly certain that I have does this in Edge before.Edge version while testing: 121.0.2277.128 (Official build) (64-bit). I tested as both a board owner and team member.
I have seen teams app facilitating the integration of third party chatbot applications. Can we do the same with the Miro? I believe that Chatbots, as ai services application will help to improve the interaction between team members. Do you think it is possible to implement the application?
Good afternoon!I am writing in order to get information about an opportunity to get plan upgraded for free. I am a Ukrainian and I teach Spanish to Ukrainian students. I would like to know whether it still possible to get my plan updated? Where I could get the information about that?Unfortunately, I did not happen to find the way in which I might be able to contact you directly.Thank you in advance for your answer as well as for your support!
Now, in order to select/like/dislike a specific board element, Miro has an integrated app with sticker packs and emojis (see left Object Menu → Stickers and Emojis). In addition to the default sticker packs, this section currently contains sticker packs from individual companies that have posted their templates in the Miroverse community of experts. We, as an agency that also shared knowledge in Miroverse, are also interested in creating a similar sticker pack in corporate colors for its further use, including as voting dots. Unlike branded shapes (“Shapes”), stickers are already easy to highlight when creating boards: the system clearly assigns them to the independent “Sticker” category, which allows them not to merge with other Shapes, and, thus, simplifies their selection and movement , as well as grouping and locking elements that are not them.
I have now several times seen that i do a lot of changes to my Draw.io diagram. When hitting save and close i goes back to the version before, and when editing again all my work is gone.. no way of getting a version historic or something like that. Its just gone.!!!This is so annoying, that im considering to skip both Miro and Draw.io. If you cant even rely on that save means save!!!Another thing is, that in order for me to present the diagram on my miro board, I need to put the diagram in edit mode in Draw.io. If not is everything blurry when shown through Miro. I does not matter if i zoom in or out..
Hi there. It’s been a full day that one board of mine is stuck on an endless loading (see image below).Other boards works fine, except that one. Anyone knows how to fix this?I already checked internet connection, reset application data, uninstall and reinstall the app. But still the problem exists. I have an educational plan so I can’t create a support ticket. Hope to find some answers here.I run Miro from Desktop App on an Intel powered MacBook Pro.
everyone! I'm new to Bubble and Okta and building a page using Bubble. I've already implemented login workflow compatible with okta. Now I'm going to introduce multi-factor authentication provided from okta for password reset workflow. If I press the 'reset' button, a request that enroll email MFA function in okta should be delivered(I might be wrong. But this is what I have learned from research). In this case, where does the request reach and how is it structured?I researched okta documents and other forums, but the answers were different and didn't worked for me. I'd appreciate it if you help me. Regards.
Can’t export anything all of a sudden on webwhiteboard.com.As an un-logged in guest, clicking the export button brings up the normal pop-up asking for a sign-up, and at the bottom are two links to export the board as an image or PDF. Clicking either of them does nothing. The window closes and that’s it. Tested on two different desktop machines with 3 different browsers (Firefox, Edge & Chrome).Created a free account, and when logged-in the options in the export menu change to either save as a template or attach to JIRA, and that’s it.Just looking for a way to save a board as a single file. Hopefully this isn’t an intended permanent change.
Looking for a little help and was unable to find an answer via search. I added a swim lane diagram to a board and developed it quite a bit. Another user moved an object and the auto-adjust thing caused the height of one of the swimlanes to expand quite a bit. I’m looking to adjust it back to its previous height, but have had no luck. Despite there being quite of bit of empty space (other than connecting lines), I cannot reduce the height of the swim lane. I am able to select the lane, see the mouse cursor change to the arrows for adjustment, and could drag to make it larger, but something is blocking me from making it any smaller. Any advice?
Hey! I would love to see tags added to the mind map nodes. At our Lab, we use mind map to structure our user tests process, from the research questions, the test objectives, to the methods and tools, but also to gather and analyze data. And we use tags to indicate many different things: methods or tools we’ll use to look into a specific questions, link participants number to a finding, indicate the level of importance of a finding, etc. And the filtering of those tags is also helpful, for. ex is we want to see what research question will be covered by which method, or to see what feedback a precise participant or group of participants have shared. Right now, we are using MindManager but it won’t be supported by our studio anymore. And anyway, we’d prefer to use a collaborative tool. The only thing stopping us to move to Miro (for mind map) is this absence of tagging/filtering system.
I have a magic mouse, using Miro in Chrome browser on a Macbook. I find that the board zooms in and out and moves from side to side in a very distracting way. I think it’s the mouse, but wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue and can recommend troubleshooting steps or has a fix. Thanks!
I’ve used Miro in the past when I was invited to collaborate on another company’s board. I would like to create my own boards and use Miro for my company, but I’m not able to do so because when I log in I get a message that says “Join teams to access boards” and the only option is “Ask to join”. I don’t want to join a team with the company that I collaborated with before, but I can’t see an option to remove myself from their teams or their account. Please help!
Hi, i have been working on a mind map the last 4 sessions and it isn’t saving all my changes. When I reopen my design all the concepts are still there, but one third of the last added concepts lost their text. They are reset too 'type something’. I tried to force a save in my last session, there isn’t a save button, so i did an export to an image. Hoping it would also force an update to the server. The image had all the last changes, yet when i opened the diagram the following day one third of my changes were lost again. I also tried different browsers without luck. Please advice.
Since user can screen capture a board, save it, and upload it, why not reduce the steps and let users just grab a region from Change Thumbnail dialog? At a minimum it would be better to have generic images for types of illustrations - concept map, journey map, etc as the choice instead of the current illustrations which are confusing juxtapositions to the real content.
Hi - My boss gets every comment notification (number on comment bubble) even if he’s not @ notified. Using the Miro help tools/instructions we have removed comment and email notifications except the @ notifications and he still sees every comment. I need them because I’m Product Manager but he’s finding it too overwhelming. Does anyone know how to control comment update notifications? Thanks!
