How to stop the new 'turn into slides feature' unlocking frames

The new feature where frames can be turned into slides is causing havoc on my boards. It means that frames that were locked can be unlocked (even with the shield lock). The only way I have found to stop it is changing the access from ‘editor’ to ‘can comment’ but this means those with the board link cannot even add sticky notes (which we do a lot). Help please!! The impact this morning resulted in a chaotic session :(

Payment failure - Credit card

I am trying to set up a subscription to use Business Plan. However, the system doesn’t accept my MasterCard payment and I can’t pay vian an invoice, as I only need one member subscription at this point. Would someone be able to help me out with this? Thank you!

Account Broken - shows as free when I have full account - can't access company team boards

I tried to login today and it thought I was a new user. A teammate invited me to our team and it shows in my list of teams next to the new team it made me create and I show in the list of users as a FULL user but it won’t let me access any of the boards and my account still shows as free when I should be part of our company account. Please fix.

My bords disappeared by themselves

Today when I accessed Miro, most of my boards had disappeared, the boards were updated 6 months ago and there is no billing history despite paying by credit card. Has this happened to anyone else? Any tips? I'm desperate!

Recreate an entire flowchart from a book/picture?

Hello, Does anyone know if the AI tool or any other feature can recreate an existing flow chart in jpeg/png format? The idea is to import a flow chart found on the web into Miro without doing it manually to then be able to edit it. Thank you in advance. Andy

Miro shows an endless loading screen

Can’t open any Miro boards I’ve already tried: clearing cache and browser history using incognito mode using different browser restarting browser restarting my computer Nothing seems to help :( I can’t use the desktop version as well. Are there any other possible solutions for this problem?

Edit custom fields of User Cards

Hello,simply put: there is a user card preset. I expected to be able to edit the custom fields (rename, add, delete, the works), but it seems like I either can’t access those features or they arent present. Here is whats interesting: there is a organigram preset built on those User Cards and it has one additional custom field already baked in, but adding new User Cards will have the normal categories. Obviously there seems to be a way to edit the custom fields somewhere, I would just like to know how to access it.

I can't load my Miro board

I cannot get on to any of my Miro boards I keep getting stuck at the loading page for HOURS. I have a project due Saturday and I don’t know what to do. I’ve looked at all the discussion boards on this and nothing is working. I’ve tried: switching browsers (Safari and Google Chrome) clearing cache and cookies restarting my computer trying incognito mode downloading the desktop app - Desktop app does the same thing trying on a different computer

Miro is freezing with first moves

Miro is constantly freezing when doing the first moves. For example, I am writing then stopping. When I start to write again the pen line freezes. The buttons are also freezing. Error message when using Jira Cards within the Timeline

This is a blocker for use. When dropping a Jira Card onto the timeline feature on a board, I cannot adjust the start and end date because I get this message: Failed to update integrated cell value: Update falled; no corresponding Jira field found for com.miro.system.start_date column This seems to have happened recently, because only last week I was able to drop cards on, and adjust everything manually. We haven’t made any changes in our Jira instance, however I did notice that Jira seems to have rolled out new UI and UX changes, perhaps it is related? Either way, I’d love some support on this since I use timeline for ALL my multiple project back of napkin planning.

Data disappeared

Help - all of my data has disappeared. From it being in use every day - to still being an active board but now empty of any of the file links I have added to it over the past year. Is there any way to retrieve this on my unpaid plan?? Please don't tell me I need to start again??

Custom shapes not viewable

We have the issue with our costum shape pack that it seems to go random in appearing and disappearing. One day I can work with diagram shapes as expected. On other days it only works in another browser. (with all our teams we cover a wide range of browsers) And today it’s not working in any browser… Does anyone have the same issue or are we doing something wrong?

[INVESTIGATING] Visual note not staying pinned

I want visitors to my board to use a navigation menu with links that I have put onto my board. I have pinned this so it always stays open so it is always available. Unfortunately in disappears when I close the board. Tried pinning and unpinning it. What can I do?

Access to Web Whiteboard

Hello, I drew on a board on https://webwhiteboard.com/ a few days ago. When accessing the tab now, it says that the board is locked and will be deleted soon. I should sign up for free to unlock it. I have clicked on the “Sign up and unlock for free” button and created an account. However, when logging in to Miro, the board from back then is not listed. I am not sure it considered the origin of the sign up request or uses shared cookies to make a connection. When I open https://webwhiteboard.com/ once more, it again shows the same “This board is locked” dialog and sign up prompt. How to unlock and access the board?

Billing

Hello all, I’ve read up about the billing for miro! Lately I have reduced the amount of Admins/Members within our company so our billing should cost less. API Integration error when uploading from Google Drive

Anyone else encountering a “The API developer key is invalid.” error when uploading from Google Drive? I’ve had no problems doing so for the past week or so and suddenly I’m encountering this error and can no longer upload from Drive. I’ve tried the following: 1 - Clear cache/browser history 2 - Signed out and then back in on the “integrations” settings page 3 - restarted 4 - Tried different boards Any other troubleshooting suggestions? unable to delete user

Hi, I’m currently on a Miro paid plan and am the admin for my workspace. Despite this, I’m unable to remove users from the boards. I am the sole user actively working on the boards, but I’m being prompted to subscribe to a 7-user plan, which is unfeasible for my needs. Could you please assist in resolving this issue? Looking forward to your support.

How to use Miro for tutoring

Hi. I’m a private tutor and give most of my lessons online. I’m thinking about switching to Miro, and I’m trying to find the best way of achieving what I’m looking for. As an example, let’s say I have three students, called Alice, Bob, and Charlie. I would want to create a folder for Alice, a folder for Bob, and a folder for Charlie. Every time I have a lesson with Alice, I would want to create a new board in the ‘Alice’ folder. Similarly for Bob and Charlie. (I imagine that creating a new board for every lesson would prevent lag). I would want Alice to have full access to all the boards in the ‘Alice’ folder (including editing permission), but I wouldn’t want her to have access to the boards in the other students’ folders. If I then acquired a new student called David, I would want to be able to easily create a new folder for David, without having to pay extra or modify my plan. Would this type of arrangement be possible in Miro? Which plan do you think best suits my needs? Many thank

New green UI elements are terrible

Hi! In a recent update, many of the UI elements in Miro were turned bright green. These new elements are super hard to read and surely do not comply with up-to-date accessibility standards (ie. low contrast). I’m surely not the only user who is bugged by this - is there a way to undo this and get back to black-on-white elements all together? Looking forward to hearing from other users too. Thanks!

Miro won't load in chrome

It works in Firefox, or desktop app, but it doesn’t work in Chrome, even after clearing cache. I’m using the latest version of Chrome and Windows 11. I prefer using web than desktop app, and would appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks!

Feedback on Mobile App Experience and a few other things.

Okay! My first item of business is: I created this post once before, but after editing out some grammar mistakes I found, the entire thing was deleted off of the face of the site. Now, it won’t even let me post this to the wish list idea side of the site. Which is a bummer… can someone move my post over there? I’ll be brief: Had to use the mobile app the other day. Wanted to throw out there that I think adding focus mode to the app would be really helpful and much less clunky. To build on that idea, I think it would be really cool if on the board page / home dashboard, there was a dropdown for all my boards that would list doc elements contained within them. Then when you click them it could just open focus mode of that document. Making it even easier for mobile. Figure this could be expanded further on the dash specifically to make it easy to duplicate or move docs between your boards. Maybe even frames. Building on that even further, I think the ultimate way to access a doc would be

Board suddenly dissappeared

Hi there, I am a free user (Sorry about that). I was on my board and when I switched tab to visit another website and then returned all of my work was suddenly gone. Even though there was stuff on it before I cant even use the undo button. I am not part of any team. I really hope to resolve this issue.
