Dear community,I am desperate for help. For my master thesis I kept all my thought and notes on a very huge miro board within my educational account. I went on maternity leave before finishing my thesis and when I reopened my board again after a bit more than a year I found almost all the content gone (see screenshot). I am obviously desperate to get my months of work back. Since my board is locked I reapplied for my educational subscription (3 weeks ago) but haven’t heard back yet. (But I have the problem also on another account on a free plan). I also contacted the Miro Support team (sorry for not respecting the request to not double post!) but I haven’t heard back also and I am on a tight timeline.My idea now would be to pay for an upgrade and to then try to recover my data. BUT I also read that history doesn’t go back that far and in my case it has been like 17 months or so. Currently having an issue with the Miro planner and Jira integration where it will not load/connect to our Jira instance. It has been working fine and just recently I went to update and I get a failed to load or a failed to retrieve data error.Is anyone else encountering this? I have tested on and off our VPN and tried a new board and still get the same errors.When trying to update the data in the planner When trying to point to a board in Jira

When grouping several postits according to their tags, I cannot undo the grouping in one step. Instead I have to delete every group’s frame manually.  So, how do I delete the groups so the post-its are “loose” again?  Thanks.

Resizing a single image to half of its original size was a very useful feature (for example a pasted screenshot @2x). This features is now only available when multiple images are selected. This makes sense for resizing by matching height and width, but why not keep it for single images as well? Now I have to duplicate or hunt down another image to select just to resize any image to half its original size (or back to its original size).

Hey! I have been using miro for diagrams for a long time. Particularly this shapeAs you can see something wrong occured to the formatting. I used it for diagrams about a month ago and it was alright. But now as i open miro all of my diagrams look like this.Now if you create this shape it allows you only a small text in the top part and if you increase its size it becomes covered by empty white space below. Can you please fix this issue?

Hi, BackgroundI am using Jira ‘Planner’ & trying to sync this tool with Jira.  IssueWhen I select the “Sync with Jira” button, I see the below error message.  The impact is that I am not able to sync the Planner tool with Jira, hence I am not able to view Jira cards using the Planner tool.  According to my ‘Apps & Integrations’, it shows Jira is connected to my account. ​​​I have tried disconnecting Jira and then reconnecting Jira again, but it does not fix the issue.Are you able to please help me to understand what I can do to resolve this issue?ThanksCraig

Szanowni Państwo,zwracam się z uprzejmą prośbą o ręczne rozpatrzenie mojego wniosku o dostęp do Miro Education Plan.Jestem nauczycielem w Zespół Szkół Ponadpodstawowych nr 5 w Piotrkowie Trybunalskim. Posiadam służbowy adres e-mail w domenie szkolnej, jednak z przyczyn technicznych nie ma on możliwości komunikacji poza wewnętrznym systemem szkoły. Since yesterday I am getting some kind of bug with text inside sticky notes and shapes. Miro is cutting off the lower half of every text line, even text that is not at the bottom of the sticky notes/ shape. Please see image below for example.Text is also behaving really strangely inside shapes/ sticky notes/ text boxes - when I double click to edit the text, it goes up a few sizes and goes off the bottom of the shape/ box/ sticky note. It seems to be an issue with auto-resizing. Can someone please help? Thank you. 

Is it possible to get access to the Miro prototype functionality when on an education licence? 

When I paste text from outside Miro into a dashbaord, Miro usually asks for converting that text into a document for better readability (or something similar). Last time I pasted text, Miro prompted the usual conversion question, and I selected no. By mistake though, I also clicked “Do not show this again”.How do I bring that question back?Or, is there another way to achieve the same result? If I ask sidekick to convert to a doc, it also rewrite the pasted text. Interesting functionality, not what I’m looking for right now.Thanks anyone for helping!

I am the Board owner and want to sync the frame to another board where I am the editor.  But, I don’t see the copy & sync option at all.  What to do? 

Hi All…I’m relatively new to miro, I’ve been invited to collab on a board & I’m finding it a very useful daily tool… However, because I was invited to use a board I can’t seem to create my own. The person I’m collaborating with has 3 boards, will this be restricting me to create a board of my own?I’ve been looking around but I can’t seem to find a solution to just collaborating on the one board & then creating my own… Would it be down to the settings of the owner of the board I was invited too? Can anyone help?

I created a chart that looks like a progress bar. I cannot edit it to change the progress, and I cannot find the same type of chart under the chart category. Double clicking does not work either. There is not edit option when right clicking.

Finding it incredibly frustrating that our access to boards was shut off without notice. All we were told was that our subscription was renewing, but it apparently didn’t go through, and the sales team is completely ignoring us, which is the only way to get our renewal through. It has caused major issues for our teams. The timing could not have been worse. Our design team prefers a different program, and after this experience I think we’ll have to switch because this has just been unacceptable.

I want to create a Miro board but my email address is associated with the account of an organisation/team I am not part of (they have invited me to their boards in the past). How do I make my own account?I have looked at other answers which suggested the organisation could unlink my email, but they said I am not part of their team so they are not sure what to do. 

I have a retro template board in Miro that includes an 'Action button' which generates themes from sticky notes. The button works as intended for me. However, when my teammates duplicate the template to use it for their teams, they encounter either: (1) the action button is greyed out and marked 'Unconfigured,' or (2) the button is clickable but does nothing. Oddly, for a few teammates, duplicating the board works and the button functions correctly.Has anyone experienced this inconsistent behavior with action buttons in duplicated boards, or does anyone know how to ensure the action button works consistently for everyone? Any suggestions or troubleshooting advice would be appreciated.

Hello, I set up a free Miro account before Christmas. I have just logged in for the first time since creating the account and another board has appeared. This board was created by a former member of staff back in 2024. Don’t know how its been linked to my account and I can’t delete it as I am not the board creator. Any ideas how it can be removed?Thank you in advance.
