Use Case:Doing research on the internet that results in opening a large number of browser tabs that you may want to refer to later. Problem to solve:It is a faff to individually copy each link from every tab into Miro and set up in a nice way. You want to record your browser session into your project: some tabs you have already read and perhaps want to dump a post-it or two over, or some tabs you haven't got round to reading but may want to in future. Critical Feature?:Not critical but would make life a lot easier at points. Possible Solution:Would be great to hit a button and drop links for all your browser tabs into Miro in one sweep, perhaps even with categorising them in some way in the process (e.g. read, read later, etc). It’s lovely to visualise your internet reading on Miro. I’m not sure technically how this would work? Internet browser extension perhaps? Or even just support for dropping multiple links and we could use something like this to generate: https://www.groovypost.co
Before the latest update, I could group any objects on the board with other objects - frames, shapes, text, sticky notes, images. Today, I can only group objects of the same type. Half the time I add something different now, the option to group disappears.Sometimes I can group different types of objects, but it seems arbitrary - I could group 2 text boxes with multiple shapes, but when I added the third text box, the ability to group disappeared. Sometimes I can’t add a different type of object at all without the ability to group disappearing. If I select multiple types of objects at once with the left click&drag, I don’t get the option no matter what.Is this broken for anyone else? Is this a bug with the latest update?
Would be nice to be able to set some graphics that will always repeat on all slides once in projection mode. It would act as an overlay on all slides and provide an effortless way to add logo or top and bottom for all slides. For the moment i see no way of achieving this apart from copy/pasting the same graphics on every single frame. Lame 😉

Please, make shortcuts for presets of pencil/marker types (color+thickness) and increasing their number up to four or five (not three as it is now).Or make one hotkey for their cycling changing. But the most convinient and easy solution - will be a possibility to move tools and colour-thickness presets from secondary toolbars to the primary ustomizable toolbar (and then the user will be able to use hotkeys 0-9).Or maybe shortcut for quick opening the color-thickness palette. With ability to leave it opened.(I am a teacher and I use different colours a lot. I use mouse but more often I use graphic tablet.)Thanks!

As a Board Owner (or facilitator), I want to be able to select and play a sound effect to the Board Participants; so that I can make an events proceedings i bit more engaging if i need/want to. Only available for Owner/Co-Owners (facilitators) please. The current Timer music/chime is really helpful. But it’d also be helpful to be able to play a subtle sound effect. E.g. bing, rev engine, crowd goes “ooh”, cuckoo, X-Files theme, and so on. It can inject some light-hearted fun to a session - which can be a magic ingredient sometimes. But it must be used judiciously - otherwise it “gets old” for the participants real quick.Q: But can’t you do that anyway, like at your end?Well, it doesn’t come through very well, I’d need to remember to unmute, and microphones are unlikely to pick up the sound effect from my smartphone, and so on. Easier to do it “inline”.
It would be great to have a Pen tool but everything you draw will disappear after a set amount of time. Similar to how the drawing tool in Slack call works. This is great for drawing attention to certain area of the board but not actually drawing on it.
THE ABSTRACT:Where connecting lines and arrows have been used to join stickies and shapes, it would be awesome to be able to hover over a particular object with the cursor and be able to see which other objects are directly connected to it, cutting out unnecessary noise. THE PROBLEM:We’ve created a really complex user journey out of stickies with connecting arrows to show all of the ways the different stages can connect, depinding on the actions a user takes. There are TONS of connecting arrows and it’s making it really hard to see what’s what. The flow through the journey and the different paths you can take is a key part of the story we need to tell on this project What we ideally need is a way to click on an individual sticky and have just the connecting lines that relate to it stand out so they’re more visible within the mess. We’d like to use this for a stakeholder playback session but it’s too hard to navigate at the moment. In terms of this particular project this is actually a c
HelloIf you select a segment on the board (a connector with empty ends) and write this code:let arrSelect = await miro.board.getSelection();console.log(arrSelect.style);then the end of the segment will be defined as "stealth", although in fact it should be "none" (fig. 1)If you select the first value in the list with the beginning of the arrow (Fig. 2), then it is defined as "none", which is also not true. The function works correctly with all other types of ends.
