I have been using the Miro Assist Expand with ideas action on mind map nodes and am loving it. However, what has frustrated me is, when I have another objects type, e.g., a sticky note from a brainstorming activity and I want to turn it into a mind map, I have to copy the text, create a mind map, and paste the text into the mind map – that is just too many steps.Given there was no “switch type” action to convert objects into mind maps, but there is CRUD (create, read, update, delete) mind map in the Miro SDK in an experimental release, I had the idea to take @Yash's open-source Cardsy app (that makes cards from other objects) and use it to make a one-click solution to create mind map nodes from other objects. Thanks to @Max Harper for assisting with the final lines of code, you can try it our for yourself here:https://mapsy.glitch.me/ Note:This is an unofficial Miro app. You may also be blocked from installing it from your Miro plan admin(s). Mapsy is running on an experimental release

the english version of The Archetyper is now live! hello, fellow mironeers! I'm thrilled to introduce you to The Archetyper, an assessment for discovering facilitation archetypes. over 190 people have dived in and discovered their unique styles, and now it's your turn to join the party!.in the world of facilitation, there's no one-size-fits-all. no 'right' or 'wrong' style. it's all about finding what clicks with you, what feels authentic and true. each facilitator forges their unique path, blending knowledge and experiences to create something special..reflecting on my own facilitation journey and observing numerous facilitators in action, I've identified five fundamental archetypes, each with a distinct focus and approach:The Icebreaker: focus on people + rational approach The Frameworker: focus on results + rational approach The Empathizer: focus on people + emotional approach The Provocator: focus on results + emotional approach The Holistical: broad or diffuse focus and multiple

Hi! Can you recommend a template for me to use when I introduse my colleagues to building a board for them selves (our up and coming Miro heros)? There are plenty how to-templates for participants (navigation and so on), but I can’t find the right one for board building. I’d like to have some tasks like “now create a frame”, “upload a hyper link here”, “choose an icebreaker template”, “use shapes like this” and so on…. I bet there are plenty good
It would be interesting to see what folks come up for this challenge . Mine would be to invite a few hundred of my contacts to all join me on a board which has a background image of flowers. Then, with the collaborators’ cursors turned on, have them go crazy jumping from flower-to-flower and have the whole thing recorded with the musical accompaniment of Rimsky-Korsakov’s Flight of the Bumblebee. Top that!

Hi guys, I would like to share with your our practice for using the Miro board for delivering trainings, workshops and development brainstorming sessions. We started using Miro cca 2 months ago and were drawn to it because we used to be a part-distributed, part-remote team. Since then we switched to fully-remote business to ensure business continuity in these times. Miro echoed in our organisation and is now used by all the teamleads, trainers, business developers, marketing experts etc. Here you will find examples on how we set up our boards for the before mentioned: Example 1: The full setup of a 3-day Train the Trainer course When we talk about trainings, Miro gives the ability to create the perfect training surroundings, with the effect of re-creating a classroom agenda online. We linked the topics into coherent groups and prepared the board for all 4 types of learners: visuals, auditives, reading/writing and kinestetics. As you can see on the picture above, we used 3 frames
