We usually organize and facilitate different workshops using Miro Boards - while doing this we encountered the following problem. We cannot prevent participants from copying locked objects in the process of editing the board (filling in stickers). In this regard, the following situation often occurs: a participant mistakenly selects locked objects instead of a sticker and, when copying, closes the area for work for other participants :( perhaps some intermediate share status (the ability to write on stickers and move objects without copying the locked objects) could be integrated in the access settings (“can edit EVERYTHING EXCEPT LOCKED OBJECTS”).
Hi, I am trying to edit a large diagram composed of many nodes connected by lines. I want to delete and/or change some of the connection lines but they won’t let me select them by clicking. Is there some reason for this? I’m trying to delete the lines, for the record.
Today, when you are uploading photos to a Miro Board through the Object Menu (“upload” → “My device”), they are usually placed in an unspecified area that you can not set in advance. Due to that, uploaded photos and images can easily hide some frames, shapes or other objects, that is very uncomfortable. In addition to that, they are often uploaded upside down. It is highly desirable to provide an accurate image placement function.
Hey Miro Community! 👋 Wanted to update you as we are simplifying our plans to help users choose the right Miro subscription. You may notice two changes:Consultant Plan will be rolled into Business Plan and fall under the Business Plan name. Team Plan will be renamed to Starter Plan. Our plans are now Free, Starter, Business, and Enterprise. In the future, we will transition all current Consultant Plan and Business Plan customers to the new combined plan (Business Plan). We will share more details on when this is happening by email. For Consultant Plan customers, please note that your subscription remains unaffected until we transition you to the Business Plan. However, you will not be able to repurchase the Consultant Plan if you cancel your subscription. If it expires, you can re-activate your subscription. When we transition you to the new Business Plan, you will keep the same price for one year and have Single Sign On (SSO) added to your plan. After one year, you can either switch t
I was wondering if an option could be integrated into Miro where you could copy or highlight a group of cells in a grid or a group of sticky notes and the option of duplicating or copy and pasting them as sticky notes or a separate grid. I would also like to be able to do the same from sticky notes, setting the sticky notes up how you would like them to be as if they were in a spreadsheet and highlighting them and being able to make into a grid. I know there is currently a work around to do this by downloading a csv of the selected items and copy and pasting it that way, but I would like to be able to do a quick transition in Miro just for time sake and convenience during a meeting. Potential Use Case: a grid sign in sheet and being able to copy and paste all the names as sticky notes so users could place themselves in a group or team. Then, being able to convert those groups into a grid form again. Another could be users putting ideas on sticky notes and making all the ideas into a gr
Not sure if anyone else is seeing this, but when I click on the timer and enter in time, the timer box is replaced by a dark grey box. When I click away and back it reappears properly.I’m using Miro on a Windows 10 laptop via Google Chrome (latest build) and am currently sharing my screen via Zoom so not sure if it is a Zoom-Miro interaction which is causing that behavior.Kiron
I just upgraded to Team status. I have worked with many clients and all of us have been using free accounts. I was logged into mine and upgraded, but after paying saw that the Team Admin is one of the email addresses that belongs to a client instead of mine, and my email address is listed as the second seat (Member) of the team. How do I change the Team Admin to be my own email address?
When I copy rows of text from a document (not from a table), and paste this into Miro, I would like to have the option to convert each row of text into a sticky note. Eg I have five sentences, with or without a bullet, and want each of them to be a sticky note, without having to copy paste each sentence manually onto a sticky note. Right now I see this feature is available when copying rows of text from a table, but not from just a regular doc (eg word). Thanks!
We have some kind of hierarchical board structure, with team boards and product/program boards. For some items it would be extremely handy to have some information on a board mirrored into another board, usually for information and context but sometimes for collaborating Using a single board where everyone is piling in all the information is not practical and becomes confusing pretty soon. What I’m looking is a kind of “wormhole frame” that is part of two or more boards and ideally can be edited on all boards it is in. A good half-way would be the frame updated live but only editable in the original board, with a the wormhole frame on the secondary boards simply showing its contents live. Is this already possible in any way? Cheers, Carlo

Hi! I downloaded the plugin first time couple months ago, but couldn’t get the login working, so I avoided using it, but now I really could use it in my project. I tried again today and it is still not working. So I tried logging out & in to my Sketch, I removed the plugin and installed it again, but nothing helps.I have co-workers in the same Miro team who have created their Miro accounts separately to Miro (instead of using Google) and for them the plugin works. I wouldn’t want to have to create a new account just because this, especially as there is an option to use Google login, so it should work. Can anybody help? Version info:Sketch: Version 86 (142512) Plugin: 1.6.4 OS: macOS 12.3.1 (21E258) Steps:I choose the plugin & login I select “Use Google account” from the popup It asks me to choose an account and give password Then it shows Miro sign up / sign in, I choose sign in and get this: I click the sign in with Google, and then after a short processing I get this:
It's nice that your Figma>Miro plugin will import a PNG of selected Figma Frames into Miro, and update that PNG if I revise the original in Figma and resync it back to Miro. But I need to update ALL instances of that Figma PNG in Miro, and not just the 1st instance. For example, let's say that in Miro I want 3 instances of that same original Figma Frame (eg. a Homepage screen) in 3 separate places on the Miro board, so I make 2 more copies and place them where I want in Miro.If I update the Homepage screen in Figma, then sync it back to Miro, it only updates the original Homepage, but not the other 2 copies. This is different from how the Sketch>Miro plugin works, which updates all instances that are duplicated in Miro. I love that, because the latest Homepage design is updated for every copy in Miro.Is it possible to make the Figma>Miro plugin function the say way? This is critical for my Sketch-to-Figma transition because I still use Miro to host all my massive screen matrix c
Hi all, I am new to ‘Miro’ and have created a board with post-it notes and have added comments to each note. I logged out and logged back in and now I can’t see those little symbols on each note letting me know that there is a comment on that note. How to I bring these icons back or turn them on?
Anyone seeing weird behavior with an Open Comment ghosting when Zooming/Panning in the Board? In my case when the behavior starts, I Zoom Out and everything starts disappearing on my Board so that it is Blank. When I reload everything is fine. I will submit a Ticket to the Developers and report back if anything is relevant to Share with Community.Cc: @Robert Johnson
Snap to gridDelivered
Just for starters, I’m a bit maniac and I like things to be aligned and even. I mostly use Miro to create game design systems (UX flow, tech trees, level layouts...). Those can be pretty complex with hundreds of items but the ease of use, the simple shortcuts and the minimalistic UI of MIRO allow me to seamlessly materialize my ideas without friction. Yet, something bothers me a lot, I can’t snap objects to the grid which means that in order to keep my stuff nice and clear to present to my colleagues I have to manually create a grid with boxes. This process is tedious and suboptimal and I’d really love an option to snap objects to grid (whether it is their corners or their center I don’t really care). Thanks for making my life easier with a great tool!
I’ve started to use Miro as a consultant with my clients during virtual workshops regularly. I have changing teams and set ups. When I introduce Miro to my clients I let them play around on, what I call, a jumpstart board. Some clients create their own boards. Now I am stuck with several boards not created by me, most of the boards are empty. The number of boards is starting to pile up under my all boards tab… How can I delete a board not owned by me, but created by a client with a guest pass during a session? Thank you.
I’ve been looking around in the community and anywhere else I could think through google, but does anyone have and ideas or experiences with game wheels for miro boards? I’m thinking something that could have a dozen or so options and it spins on the board? I’m trying to recreate “Sorry!” on Miro and looking for something to randomly select a card has been difficult and I think a game wheel would be much more re-usable.
Two questions as follows: How can I export comments How can I print comments in context Ideally, i’d like to export a PDF with the comments opened on the screen - that would be useful for printing and sharing. I have a shared workspace that has a bunch of comments on it. I’d like those comments to be expanded onto the screen and exported in a format that can be printed. Alternatively, I’d like to export the comments into a word doc or a google sheet. In the above screenshot there are two comments. When I export this to a best quality PDF, it looks like this As you can see - the comments have disappeared.
Uncurved textUse case: click text box, write text, curve text. In the example above is the text uncurved, it is completely straight. I would have wanted to align it to the circle. It is a nice to have feature. It’s less visually good, but I won’t die without it, A possible solution for me would be to in the case of needing this feature to use Microsoft.
