Bug involving headphones

Hi @Manouska J, this also happens with me regardless of which browser I use (I’m using firefox now). I recall it happening whenever I’ve used miro in the last year or so, but I don’t think it was happening back in 2020/2021 when I used Miro more extensively.

My headphones switched away to my usual device (phone) the second I closed the miro tab just then

I have the same issue and it’s very annoying! I use Jabra Evolve headphones on a windows computer, this happens with Chrome which is my primary browser.

If you haven’t already, I’d recommend reporting this directly to Miro Support so they can investigate further. More reports can help prioritize a fix.

In the meantime, some users have found temporary workarounds like disabling Miro's microphone permissions in Chrome settings or switching audio input/output settings manually. If you find a reliable fix, feel free to share it here!
