Scenario:I have a Figma file with multiple pages that I want to show in a Miro board Problem:The Figma embed viewer does not have a page selector Desired outcome:Visitors to the Miro board can see every page of the Figma file Current workaround:Paste the link into a text node and make it really big Problems with current workaround:Visually unappealing Less context for board visitor Possible the visitor will not return to the board Recommended solution:Add a “convert to link preview” action in the context menu for link embeds—users would be able to go to the Figma file directly Other possible solutions:Add a page selector to the Figma embed viewer Allow embeds with multiple pages to be split into one embed per page (similar to how PDFs can be split)
Hey dear Lean-Agilists!Just wanted to share a Miroverse template I published yesterday:Build Measure Learn! Build-measure-learn (BML) is a process of building a product, measuring consumer metrics, and learning from them to better respond to customer needs and improve the product for the ultimate sustainability of the company. It is one of the central principles of Lean Startup – a startup method pioneered by Eric Ries. The purpose of the template is to keep track on what’s in the different phases of the BML cycle. It basically replaces the traditional linear Kanban board (cards can be used instead of sticky notes in order to add more information).Anyone who has experience working according to Lean UX principles might recognize the cyclical concept – in Lean UX, it’s called Think-make-check. I will probably do a TMC template as well in the future. 😊Let me know what you think!
Help me out someone, please!I’ve been using Miro for half a year now, everything worked smoothly, but 2 days ago I accidentally did something, and NOW the ‘Double tap to add the last object used’ feature is not working. Now, if I double tap on the board, nothing appears, neither the T for the text, nor squares or stickers. How can I have that function back? Please, I hope someone knows.Thank you <3
Howdy, dear Lean-Agilists!I recently had another template published in Miroverse: Technology Radar. The Technology Radar (my 10th Miroverse template!) is all about tracking interesting things, referred to as ”blips” by Thoughtworks. The idea with this template is to allow companies, organizations, departments, and/or teams to track techniques, tools, platforms, and frameworks that might be interesting for their business and operation.Hope you’ll like it!https://miro.com/miroverse/technology-radar/
Hi Everyone!Wanted to let you know we’ve recently launched a simplifying update to Team and Business plans: You can now purchase any plan starting with one member. This change allows any individual or team to try out a paid Miro plan and applies to new and existing customers. Invoicing options are only available for ten members on Team Plan and five members on Business Plan. Please let me know if you have any questions or feedback to share. Happy collaborating! Hi community!I deleted an old user, which also led to deletion of his boards. We're on the Free plan.We still have the URL, screenshot shown below.I found https://community.miro.com/ask-the-community-45/deleted-user-also-deleted-boards-4116 and https://community.miro.com/ask-the-community-45/deleted-user-ends-up-deleting-board-2015. For our team, and myself (Admin) there is no trash can showing (screenshot). As far as I know, the his old boards were transferred to me.

Tags can be used when searching/filtering, but first a tag has to be placed on a stickie/card and that can be tedious to do. This ideas is to enable the capability of setting up automatic tagging/untagging when a sticky or a card are moved into a frame or a box. Here one would create a frame then go into the menu for the frame in question to enable this and select what tag should be placed on the stickies/cards that come into the frame, and/or if that tags should replace some other tag. Behind the scenes I presume this capability exists, i.e. a card moved from one column to another column in a Kanban gets some attributes updated from e.g. “In progress” to “Done”.This can support many use cases, but my use case is for more general user created Kanban boards that allows a mix of stickies and cards, and when stickies go into different parts of this custom kanban, then and the cards aren’t rigidly lined up in long narrow columns as in the built in Kanban board. And one could search/filter
I would love to have a Miro swag box :) I am such e huge huge fun of Miro! I am a Scrum Master and Miro has made my life more beautiful, is helping me a lot with everything! I can be as much creative as it’s possible and give so much from myself! I have also supported a lot members from my company to get familiar with Miro boards and how to use them and the template provided for us.So I would love to have a T shirt, some sticky notes or a notebook..even if I have to buy them Can you please help me?
My company is using SSO, therefore I assume we have a Premium Plan. I am assured by our IT help desk that I am a licensed user on Miro.Until recently upgrading the Chrome to version 103.0.5060.114, I used to have access to create boards etc, lock boards, grant access permission(s) etc. ie a lot more features/control then on Miro free. Now I only have access to Miro free ie I urgently need support to resolve this issue as we need to plan for the next Product Increment.FYI – I have tried the following, however the problem still persisting:Logging out of miro, Stopping/Restarting Chrome, using a different browser, rebooting my laptop
When I help users, I want sometimes provide an url pointing on a board, on a project, on a team.Board, it’s ok But there is no way in app and website to have an url pointing to a project or a team.I wont “invite” I juste need to be able in a documentation or in a chat give an url directly to a project or a team
I use Miro a Lot for Explaining concepts and User-flow Journeys to my team and clients. One feature that would be great to have is “Animations” (Appearing in & Fading Out) like Powerpoint has. The Objects within Boards can be made to appear in a certain Order by clicking on an animation Pane. It will make a beautiful Journey Diagram much more Explanatory and intuitive in a demo session. I wonder if this is in the Roadmap.
Would be great to click on + to add a new card on a swimming lane, and it would automatically take the color of the previous card in this specific lane. Otherwise adding a new card needs manual reselecting its color every time. E.g. here where the black scribble is - a new card is added in yellow as a last color in use from another lane, and it would be great that it adds in the same color of that lane without manual readjustment. Thanks a lot!
Dear colleagues,We are using Miro Kanban with several swimlanes, and for an easy visual differentiation we have setup a dedicated color to the cards in each swimming lane. However if I click “+” to add a card on a certain swimlane, it will not keep the color of the card above it but will use the latest color I selected somewhere on another card (if I am lucky to work on the same swimlane the card will be added in the same color, but normally I would need to manually switch the colors). If I duplicate a card - I will need still to do some manual work by e.g. removing tags or so. Is there a way to setup the Kanban in a way that when I add a card on a swimlane it will keep the color of the previous card on that swimlane? An image attached to illustrate: where the black arrow is, I would like to click and get the navy colored card as the above and not yellow (last color used somewhere).Thank you!
Miro’s functionality of changing the padding based on scale is not controllable and often ends up with unwelcome results. Would prefer if I can set the padding/margins per side of shape so that I can control the look and style of my drawings.
I’m struggling to get started accessing the MIRO Rest API from a windows client.I have created a Developer Team board to test, which seems to give me some of the authorization data which the API docmentation describes. I was rather hoping to get into all the authentication stuff later on - right now, I need to investigate how easy it is to pull Miro data from my little test board.Does anyone have a C# (or better still Vb.net) example of reading a developer board ? Is this even possible from a Windows machine which isn’t running a web server?
I’m having trouble using the app - I’m on a Macbook Pro with the latest version of MacOS. My boards work when using chrome, but when using the app (My preference) I just get the tabs along the top but no actual boards. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling, i can’t even log out because the menus along the top are all pretty vacant.ANy help would be appreciated
