Dear Miro Community & Team, I just opened my Miro and realized I forgot to cancel my free trial :( It is Business plan so it’s very expensive and I can’t afford to pay for this mistake. As you notice, I tried the free trial using personal email so it is not paid by my company at all (although it’s for work purpose). I used my Miro boards to sort and arrange pictures in the past to than process them further in photoshop.My whole workflow suddenly broke because the “Copy as Image” function is not working correctly anymore… In the past it produced the image exactly in the resolution like it was on the board and now it lowers the resolution down to around 1000px… Downloading with the frame is no option for me because I need the exact resolution and the download option does not offer custom size or exact size… In my case I have a 3x3 grid of 9 1024x1024px. That is not even 4k or any super resolution. I need to be able get the correct size back, so I can throw it into my photoshop slicer. Since I process hundreds of grids like this, manual resizing is no option and a pain in the but. I have a paid consultant plan.Left original and right is the outcome…

I’ve reviewed the other “Custom Shape” ideas, and they’re interesting to me, but not exactly what I was looking for, so submitting something specific.I really like the standard shapes MIRO offers, but sometimes I need more. I’d like the ability to draw a custom shape. Something simple with straight lines and curved lines (Bezier tools) that snap together when they near each other would be great. Allow import of an image if “tracing” a shape that looks familiar would be amazing too (image not needed in final shape).Once the shape is drawn, it should have the same fill and border thickness controls of the standard MIRO objects. Keep it dead simple, these controls are highly appealing. Maybe add some text positioning hints/boundaries if the shape gets a bit crazy, but again, should largely follow the MIRO standard shapes. Finally, allow positioning of default anchor points (but continue to allow the actual anchors to be adjustable just like standard MIRO shapes).I should be able to share
Hey everyone,Following this documentation about Storage, I might not understand it correctly or it may not be working as expected.Regarding App Metadata and Item Metadata, for both it says:How is it stored? → Per board, per app (and per board Item for Item metadata).If I make a copy of a board, will the data persist? → for App Metadata and Item Metadata it is marked with a V, and for collection X. It sounds somewhat contradictory to me.. but I expected that when I duplicate a board, both metadatas (App and Item) will be copied from board to board.I tried to test it. I’m developing a Miro App which upserts metadata upon icon click, where metadataKey=”key”. It also have a Shape with metadata. Both holding {“hello”:”world”}.I then went to the list of boards. Selected it, and then clicked on Duplicate.In the new board, when the App loads - it doesn’t see any previous App metadata (via getAppMetadata(‘key’)). And the Shape .getMeatadata() also returns empty.[Note: As as developer, I’ve test
Not sure if this is expected behavior or if I’m doing something incorrectly. When using a shape on a miro board (specifically in a process map), I find that the font size within the shape will sometimes auto-increase if I create a shape and add text, but then edit the text later (the text editing step is when the font size changes). For example, I have been using font size 13, however when I edit the shape, the font size auto-increases to 21, so much of my text ‘disappears’ off the shape until I select all and reduce the font back to 13. I’m not sure why this is happening - has anyone experienced this? Is there perhaps a default setting I’m not aware of? Thanks

We have a number of ‘master’ boards that have been designed and created in different projects. The masters will be managed in our methodology team and then copied to other teams & projects for each customer that we have Miro workshops with. At present there are at least 70 ish boards which means a lot of moving & copying if we dont have a bulk transfer capability, especially inefficient if we have to move projects, board by board, customer by customer, so any bulk move we can make would be very valuable. It would be a great enhancement to Miro to be able to perform the following functions in bulk for multiple selected boards: Copy / Duplicate Move to new Account Move to new Project Download Backup
Hey Miro!To reduce the amount of other tools I need to use when creating a Miro Board it would be super cool if we could edit imported picture (jpeg, png, ...). Important would be:Flip pictures horizontally & vertically (so far it is only possible to turn them) Increase / reduce transparancy: This is particularly imporant because often pictures are used as a background. If colours are to intense for example they distract from working on top of them.Thanks for putting these incremental improvements on the list of your future changes! As already suggested here - but in a bundle: the entries in the timeline (work package) should either be Miro cards or be able to be converted into such and consequently into Jira cards.In my view, this is essential to ensure a consistent usage paradigm for Miro.Note: Within our company, the timeline feature is perceived as “sexy”, but is unfortunately useless as we manage tasks etc. in Jira cards.

Hi All,I feel that the miro wish list as it is today is almost useless - At least from a user point of view. Also I am sure it is of little use for developers also. The issues with the current wish list areOnce you create a wish it is visible for a few days. Then it goes down in the list as the list is sorted with the newest first. This results in people requesting duplicate wishes or not able to vote for a good wish. Having a better search will surely eliminate duplicates. Also it may be good to categorize the wishes to enable easy identification of wishes. May be we can have attributes to wishes like “enterprise feature” or “import and export” etc. That will go a long way in solving this issue. A person would be interested in his / her wish. Today once the wish is recorded - if you visit again after a week it becomes very difficult to find your wish. Also if you have multiple wishes and have forgotten your wishes - you cant even search for the same. The solution is to have a menu sec

What am I missing with expanding the timeline in the Roadmap Planning template? When I click and drag the right side of the chart it enlarges/stretches the current view of the chart instead of showing additional future dates. How do I expand the chart to see beyond 3 months?

I've tried in several boards and ask for some friends to do the same and it seems to be a general problem. Is anyone facing this problem also? Do you have a cue on how to fix it? Tks!

There's a board that we used while working on the project, and it's open to Public.Now that the project is closed, I want to delete the board because it contains information that should not be exposed to the outside world.The owner of the board has left the company and has not been able to transfer the rights, so the board cannot be deleted.Is there a way to delete the board?
