Hi theres a banner at the top of the screen of every one of my boards that will not close even when I press the x button. 

 

I am on the free plan but the banner says “there was an issue processing your recent payment” but I’m on the free plan so there should be no payment.  There is a link to “update my payment details” but that link takes me to a 404 page.  There is an x by the banner but the x doesn’t work (it does not close the banner).  The banner pops up on every board I open and is large and red and distracting and cant be ignored and takes up important screen real estate that I need for my work.

 

Big picture: How can I report to the miro team that they need to fix the close button on the banner?   For me: How can I get rid of this banner? 

 

More details:
I’ve tried this in safari and chrome (i’m on mac) and neither one will let me close the banner.  The banner WILL close on my dashboard but every time I bring up a board the banner pops up and will not close.  I used to have a paid plan but it transitioned to a free plan many months ago.  There may be old payment details buried in their database but I don’t know because clicking on the link to update my payment details goes to a 404 page so I can’t check them or update them.  

 

If the close button worked I wouldn’t be here typing this now.

Sorry to hear about your issues. I was not able to replicate this. 

Are there screenshots or a screen recording you can share? Any more details on the OS you’re using?

Often, resetting the application data helps shake out some bugs.

I’ve converted your comment into a support ticket so the Miro team can investigate this directly. They’ll be able to confirm what’s causing the banner to appear and help resolve it.

I have this issue currently. I’ve made sure that my payment card info is updated and when I click the Update payment method button a get an error 404. 

I have cleared my browser cache as well as opened Miro in a private window, but the issue still persists.

Were there any further updates on this?

To help us understand what might be going on, could you please share:

  • A screenshot or short screen recording showing the banner and the 404 error when clicking the “Update payment method” link?

  • The browser and device you're using when the issue appears?

Once we have that, I’ll be happy to convert your post into a support ticket so the Miro support team can look into it directly.

Thanks for getting back to me. As Murphy's law would have it, since this morning the banner is no longer there and things are fine now. I did not do anything else on my side since the previous comment.

Not sure if you anything changed on your side and if something just needed some time to propagate, but things are fine now, for me at least.
