I tried to export the work done by a group to CSV.I realized that a lot of information I would need are missing! For exampletype of object (is it a note? a frame?). it seems to be all mixed together. note color (very useful when we use it to create categories!) comments attached to a note (It seems that only tags are exported?)Is there any advanced option I am missing?Otherwise the current export vastly reduces the potential for post workshop analysis.

We have a huge board that we’re using for workshops, where all elements are locked individually. It would take hours to unlock every element, which we need to do when we’re now translating the course to english.   Is there a way to unlock every element of a board at once, if they’re all locked individually?

Hi folks, I have created a number of frames and was able to rename them. But when I was creating a new frame last night I was unable to rename the frame. The other functions such as Export that are in the same menu as Rename work though. Any advice on this?Thanks loads!

Dear Miro experts, My company’s MS Team has recently added Miro has an add-in. I have downloaded the application to MS Teams and set up my Miro profile. I have added Miro as a tab in an MS Team set up with my colleagues.  However, I noticed that I had to click on the blue share button and individually enter the name of each individual I wanted to have access to it. I tried to enter the MS Team name and to use our distribution email list and every way I could think of. But in the end, I had to write in their name/email address - which is cumbersome when it’s a team of 15...and some other MS Teams are larger (!).  Am I missing something? Is there an easier way to add a group of people to have edit access to a board? Why wouldn’t a board automatically be ‘editable’ to those in the MS Team if it’s in an MS Team?  Very much appreciated! Milly

Hello! I’m using Miro to present screen designs, using headings to split the content. The page can get really long.Is there any way I can create a table of contents that sticks to one side (it keeps the same position while scrolling), so I can use it to navigate vertically to wherever I need on my board?

1_When I create a template and save it in ‘shared custom templates’ still it does not allow my fellow editors to edit the template I created. How come? 

Hi! So, i’ve used Miro and it’s worked well in my brower on my desktop but when I logged in on the app on my iPad and clicked the camera as usual to start video chatting nothing happened. Normally there’s a camera and a microphone with a slash line through it which means it’s turned off and when that happens I click on it, the slash line goes away, and the video chat pops up. On the iPad however, when i tap on the slash line through the camera nothing happens. No videos pop up. Could someone please help me out as the best way to fix this? Thank you!

Hi everyone, We are just getting our sea legs with Miro and one issue that came up is when I was working with a group on a board and another user accidentally triggered a screen sharing session without realizing it and began dragging the rest of us all around a board, causing confusion. I was there as a board owner, and the other user was there as an editor. Is there any way for me to override or forcibly stop another user from creating or initiating a screensharing session? Permission wise, the ideal would be for the people I have invited to collaborate to still be able to add sticky notes and type on the whiteboards but leave initiating audio/video/screensharing sessions to the board owners/facilitators.Thanks for your advice! Kathryn

In our working structure, I often have to collaborate with other individuals and free lancers in different projects. I have my miro consultant plan, they have their own miro consultant plan. So everyone has a paid account. Now I try to invite them to jointly work on one project or board, but it seems, that we would have to buy an additional team member seat, which then would multiply our cost. Did I do something wrong or is there really no possibility for flexible cooperation in projects as I know it from other tools?Thanks for any suggestions,Patrick

I’m putting together an online class and would like to share my screen to walk students through the material. I do this in a different app. When sharing my screen in Miro, can I show my whole desktop or is it restricted to just the Miro whiteboard? If so, I’ll have to go back to something like Webex instead of using Miro for all of it.

Hi, i’m wondering how to create a sticky note reserve so that people interacting with my board can use them indefinitely.  I know there is one on the left hand-side of the screen, but I want to embed it in the frame.  Thank you.

I create a board and upload serveral files as service for external guests. I get the echo from my guests that downloading does not work. Is that a (new) feature or a bug?In the past I used this way many times successfully, but since a couple days this does not work anymore.

I want to create a mind map to track some of my non-work-related tasks on our paid Miro account, but I don’t want anyone, anyone at all, to be able to access it. I know that e.g. Slack makes direct messages available to account admins, and I’m worried if it’s similar for Miro? Can the account owner, under any circumstances, access a No-Access board of mine?

Can you embed a form into Miro? Anyone done this? It would be great to have visitors fill out informational forms within a board during presentations, etc. Looks like iframe might the answer? 

Hi everyone!I’m working with Company A, but Company B added me to their Miro boards and teams as I was working with them through my Company A email. I am now in a position that I want to set up Company A Miro board and team. I have left all the Company B teams (found how to do it online). Now when I’m trying to go to Miro website with my Company A email, I get a message that I should ask Company B to access the boards, whereas I don’t want to access their boards or teams. I simply want to setup my Company A boards. Hopefully you are able to help me. Thanks a lot!  

My desktop App just updated to version 0.4.5. What Different from 0.4.3? I can’t find a changelog and the “What’s New” panel doesn’t say what’s different.I like to know to see what new ideas have been implemented, and what differences to take advantage of.

Hi all  Small mystery which I have encountered:  There is absolutely no way to communicate with Miro team about technical or billing issues.  The ‘Contact Us’ form is bugged, flawed and probably will not get attention from Miro (yes, I mean this: https://miro.com/contact/general/)   Does anyone has any way to have support ? or Miro simply don’t have one? I am fairly disappointed with the product so far :(  Thanks  Eyal 

When I make a new element (text box, sticky, shape, etc.) and then try to manually move that element within the frame, a blue outline appears in the top left corner of my frame and my element is “forced” to move there. I can’t place the element anywhere else on the frame unless I CTRL+C, CTRL+V with my mouse hovering over the approximate area I want the element to paste. This is extremely frustrating, as the same thing happens with dot voting or a group of elements - all the dots are “forced” into a long row at the top of the frame if I try to move the group as a whole!Thank you Miro Community for any insight/help you can provide!

All:Suddenly, the visibility of my Miro boards has shrunk and I’m unable to read the text on my canvas. As a result, I’m unable to troubleshoot the problem because the text and images are sooo very small (like reduced to approx. 5%). Additionally, the touchscreen feature isn’t allowing me to simply expand  the canvas as usual to make the tools and screen visible. HOWEVER, if I can see the full screen/expand screen icon in the bottom right-hand corner, I can get a 100% screen size but all the tool icons remain very tiny in size.I’m not sure if my invitees or team member inadvertently changed the default on a feature, which now needs resetting. But I can’t see my account settings to return to the usual 100% onscreen visibility.Is there some feature that needs resetting in order for me to resume seeing the boards and account features at 100% visibility? Please help if you can. Thanks for sharing your ideas!

2_And when I edit the template myself, the thumbnail of the template and the template on my board do not get updated. I need to ‘paste’ or ‘add’ the template again to the board in order to see the adjusted/new template, how come? Is this meant to be the feature?

I just want to know if there is a way to import google photos in a way that you can FIND them on the board? is there something I am doing wrong? Am I too zoomed out. I need to teach others how to do it and its hard to find it when it uploads.. Its so tiny! Is there a way to find it easily on the board?
