Hi everyone, I’m using Miro Free and I was able to edit a box on my board before, but now I’m not - a big STOP sign comes up whenever I try to type / edit it.The box is not locked - the padlock is open, so I don’t know what to do to resolve this.Can anyone suggest anything please? I am using an iPad Pro 12.9, the Magic Keyboard with built-in touchpad. I would expect the same experience with a Macbook Touchpad. This is not the case. Two finger gesture does not move the canvas. Two finger pinch does zoom in/out only erratically. I’ve tried the different navigation settings mouse, trackpad, touchscreen but there is no difference. Tried in:miro native app Safari browser Chrome browser Firefox browseron iPadOS 14.4.2, latest version of miro app.
So I’m working on a miro board at the moment and I specifically want to center a grouped object to align center wise to another object I select on the board but I want the object I selected first to be the anchor object that I want the last object selected to be aligned to center wise. In visio this is extremely easy to do as Visio will center the last object selected with the other object that was selected first. So you dictate the anchor object this way without a second thought.In Miro, it keeps moving the object I selected first to be centered with the larger grouped object which I don’t want as it mis-aligns to what I am trying to do. I tried locking the smaller first object I selected, but when you do that you cannot shift-left click to add another object to the selection.Any way to do this in Miro?
Hey there,I have the following problem. My education plan has expired - since I use Miro obsessively I wanted to re-apply immediately and used the form a few weeks ago. Sadly, I haven´t got any reaction (positive or negative) back to this day.So my question is: Is there a support-email to contact directly for this issue?I should full-fill all criteria for an education plan which is why I am confused this process is taking so long (+ it is super frustrating not having the option to contact a person directly because I am not even sure if the application-form does work) Would be amazing if someone could help me!thanks in advance

Hello,I would like to have a way to hide and show shapes. This will allow to write an app for something like layering. I tried moving a shape into x=Number.maxNumber, which was good, as it was off the visible board, but then I get an error when I try to set it X value back to its original value. Something like it has no parent.Any other ideas on how to do this? Thanks.
Hello, I am a teacher and am looking to use Miro in my class so students can work collaboratively with their teams on a few whiteboard activities. I set up 9 boards, one for each team, and sent an invitation link out to the class asking them to follow the link to the space I created and then find and work on their board. I see they are all active users and I seem to have the proper permissions; however, they can only view and not edit the boards. Can you help?
Hi! I am having a weird problem, just like the title says: when adding jira cards to my board, they load up and instantly disappear.The weird thing is that I have like 50 more cards in the same board!Is there a limit?
when im sending frames to miro, after a while or if i do it from a separate figma user, when i sync changes the plugin creates new images on miro, instead of overwritten the already synced ones.it appears that miro loses the relationship link between the previously synced frames on figma. any solution? has anyone encountered this?

Let’s say you want to ask people to sort sticky notes like in a card sorting, but for answering a test.Is it possible to :create one board with pre-set sticky notes (ready board) share it to different users they would all arrive on a “ready” board (but each their own) each of them would do their sorting I’d receive the data in a table (optional)Or is the common use to create a board, duplicate it for 20 users, share each board to a different user?Cheers,
I need to grant a client access to a specific board in Miro, but I don’t want to add him to our group of users in Miro. How can I do this?
Hi, I have a question: is it possible to share a specific board view with my team?So: we have a very large board and I have added a frame with content somewhere. i want to send a link to the team ‘look I have added content here’ such that if they open the link they will see the newly created content and not the default view of the board.Is that possible? I recently found two boards on my account that weren’t mine and six users I hadnt added. One user I had added to view a board a year ago, closed down the board, but didn’t knew I also needed to remove her as a user. When I found the security glitch, I removed all the users she had added from the account. They then proceeded to request access, which I denied. Later they somehow reaccessed the account and their boards. I then removed all external link access, as well as the users, once again. They no longer can access their boards.The external users have since claimed this was unintentional access to my account. My question to the Miro community is how this could’ve actually been unintentional, and how after I removed them as users they were still able to reaccess the account (before I removed all link access).Adding that this is a free account.

I teach a remote class, we use Zoom and Miro to collaborate. Whenever I open Miro during class it will inevitably crash, a black screen pops up with white warning text in several languages, and then my computer will shut down briefly.It only seems to happen when I’m using Zoom and Miro at the same time. It never happens to any of my students who also use both Zoom and Miro.My laptop is using Big Sur 11.1 OS, 16G memory and 1536MB VRAMHas anyone else experienced this problem?

Hello Miro Support, It’s my understanding that we are unable to “lock” sticky notes (post-it notes) in the org chart visual, which is concerning to me as I start to use Miro. I’m wondering if this is on the roadmap for the near future. I’m needing to add and remove sticky notes often, but whenever I edit the org chart (ie: add another group or name), the sticky notes stay where they are and I have to move multiple sticky notes every time. Please let me know if there is a plan for this or if you have any suggestions. Thank you,Krista
Hi there having issues and getting an error when copying and pasting a google spreadsheeht. "Sorry, it seems that you don't have rights to upload this file or the file was deleted. Please check access right and try again". I have allowed google docs and miro integration. I've found a page on miro with possible issues and how to resolve it and it's asking me to login to google admin account. I can't use my own gmaiil account for it so I'm not sure how to go about it, can you help?
Hi There, I have added a spreadsheet to my miro board. However, I have noticed that it creates ‘additional pages’ in miro based on the view and it does not match the exact tab number on the google sheet. Eg, the actual google sheet has 16 tabs (or pages) but it turns out to be 43 pages in Miro and I realised it adds on a page after a certain row count of a particular tab. It is difficult to find the right page to pin to the board. This is difficult for us when we want to use the board to put KPIs or charts. I had a google sheet with over 2000 pages due to some pages having many row numbers. Is there a way to solve this problem?

Hello everyone. Description of my problem: i saved my board in google drive, but when i want to load it via Upload->Google Drive receive the message “Sorry, this file format is not supported.”. If i try to open board of Google Drive (via app Miro) i receive the message “Something went wrong! For some reason we couldn't open the board. Please back to your Google Drive and try again.”. What’s wrong?
