I have two educational accounts (with institutional emails) as a teacher that will expire and i want to contintue to have access to the boards. how do i migrate all the boards to a free private account (with private email)? i would still like to leave the boards in tact for the institutions to access for their archives. thank you!

We have created a shared template with our company brand, style etc. When using the template I get a first set of slides on the board to work with, however, when hovering on the (+) sign next to a slide, or between two slides, I only find a Miro preset slide menu. How do I make our branded templates show up there to quickly build my presentation?

Apologies in advance if I’m just overlooking things but I can’t seem to figure where to click to dismiss the Canvas 25 page that seems to be overlaid across the entire Windows app.I’ve tried the following (all didn’t work)Closing the app and opening it again hoping that maybe it only showed once.  Registering for Canvas 25.  Uninstalling and reinstalling Miro Desktop for Windows Resizing the window to see if maybe a button got hidden as it scaled Clicking the “X” on the top right closes the entire appCan someone point me in the right direction? Or is this a bug? Thanks!

When I go into active users it will say someone has access to one board yet they can access any of them. It says I have access to 11 but I can also access any of them. How do I fix this? If we have consultants that should only have access to one board this is a huge security flaw.

Hello,this might be a silly question …I am trying to get line jumps to work but so far have no luck in doing so …I have tried them with existing and new boards (just to make sure) but no availI am selecting the line type , enable line jumps and been trying various shapes/options but none seem to work. Anyone has run into this ? Figured I would ask in case it is something simple :)  

Hello,On the Section “Starred” boards, I normally was able to see all the boards that I starred from my organization members and even from external members of my organization.Today, I’m just able to see the starred boards from my organization.I need to have access to starred boards from outside my company. I was able to access one external board and I saw that it’s still starred but I don’t see it in my list.I think there is like a filter applied on my “starred board list” that just let me see my organization’s boards.Thanks.

Does Sidekick use data from your boards to learn?  Specifically, is data and client information on a board, when using sidekick potentially comingled with other data?  How confidential is the data? 

Hi everyone,I’ve been working on extracting information from a Miro board and have already managed to automatically extract basic shapes (rectangles, circles, text boxes). However, when Flowchart shapes appear (like Document or Connector), my parser doesn’t recognize them.Is there any recommended way to handle this?Maybe an API or endpoint that returns metadata for these specific shape types?I’d really appreciate your help.Thanks!

Goodday, we've been using Miro for about 3 years now. But since last week ( or last 2 or 3 weeks ) all users receive daily update and weekly update mails, out of the blue. A lot of people report the emails as spam, which creates a situation that people who really need to receive notification email dont receive their emails. Did something changed? and if something is changed, how can i turn that change back 😁

My team and I are starting to use the Planner for Jira functionality in Miro for our PI Planning sessions. Since multiple teams collaborate on the same board at once, I wanted to confirm: Can several users make updates in the same Planner for Jira widget simultaneously (for example, moving or editing different Jira issues at the same time, making edits to the widget)? What happens if two people try to edit the same issue at the same time? Does Miro or Jira prevent conflicts, or does the last edit overwrite the other? Are there any best practices for large groups collaborating in the Planner

When exporting a frame as an image I will get a 2 pixel white line on a random edge of every image. It does not matter what size the frame is and what quality it is exported as (it’s even present as a vector). The only work around is to match the board background color to the frame color, which is not intuitive. Anyone have a solution to this?The image below showcases the issue on the exported jpg. 

How I can’t print on the paid plan? Do I need to be the owner of the board as well?

I need to recover 2 invoices from our account that has been cancelled i can’t access the billing tab now on the free login. 

Is there any plan for Miro Documents to have a toggle list option like in Notion or Heptabase?Additionally, we’re having issues where documents become huge on the board as you keep adding notes inside them. Is there any plan to make it possible to adjust the size of the Document box? This is making it difficult to edit on the board

Hi!Is there a way to … after having manually resized a text box … to make it go back to auto adjust horisontal size based on the amount and size of the text?

When I attempt to use bulk mode it fails.I’ve tried it with the desktp app and several borwsers without success.I’ve tried in incognito mode as adivsed by Miro support, with no success.It sumply just end up with all the fields as one lump of text in in stcky note.Also, the amount of characters being copied is minimal, nothing near 1% of the limit  

Our team was conducting a two-session educational workshop, and we added several participants to collaborate temporarily on a shared board. We believed that these participants would join as guests, as allowed under the Starter Plan. However, the system registered them as team members, which automatically triggered an annual subscription charge for each of the 25 added users, and 2.674 dollars were charged from our credit card. This was an honest mistake — these participants are not part of our organization, and their access was limited to those two workshop sessions. As a small, independent educational lab, we are unable to cover this large annual expense, which would seriously affect our financial stability.We also wish to clarify that we chose the annual plan precisely because it offered a lower rate, not realizing it could expose us to this kind of situation. Had we known that temporary collaborators could trigger annual charges, we would have chosen a monthly plan instead.Please he

Hello,I’m a new user. I login and see the dashboard at https://miro.com/app/dashboard/. A popup asks if I want to join my org. Of course I do so I click Ask to join. The popup won’t go away and I reload the dashboard and it is still there. We have a corporate license. I just want to start but can’t get rid of the popup. I searched online - how can I just get started? Seems support is hard to find or lacking behind lots of logins etc.Should note that I’m a corporate user, corporate license, and just using standard web / Chrome.Thank you.

In order to comply with U S Department....registering from platforms from Cuba, Iran, North Korea and so on.I am in Germany. Even it is not possible to submit a support ticket alltough I have a Consultant account. What can I do to get access? Any ideas? 

Hello, I would like to ask the help of the MIRO Support Team. Last week (on the 8th of Oct), my colleague accidentally added four extra members to my MIRO team.I deleted them within an hour, but I still received an invoice for an upgrade and the system wanted to charge me $90. We did not use this option at all, because, as I said, I deleted the members. Hi, I'm creating process maps in Miro and when I right click and 'copy style' on a flow chart shape then right click another flow chart shape and do 'paste style’ nothing happens. Same with trying the key board shortcuts too - any ideas? I am using this feature correctly, is it not for flow chart shapes?
