Hello!

I’m researching online whiteboard platforms and would really appreciate your help with a few questions about file storage and integrations.

Could you please clarify the following points:

  • How is file storage organized in your product?

  • What is the maximum file size or total storage volume available for a user?

  • Is storage included in the plan, or does it require additional payment?

  • How long are files kept on boards if a user stops paying for a subscription?

  • Do you have plans to integrate with other storage or collaboration solutions in the future?

Thank you in advance for your time and transparency — it’s very helpful for making an informed decision.

Hi @Artem Zaramenskikh

Thanks for the thoughtful questions!

Files in Miro are stored on boards, organized within Teams and Spaces (there’s no separate file storage system). Miro doesn’t have a fixed total storage limit per user or team; instead, there are file size limits.

If a subscription ends, content is not deleted immediately. Boards and files are retained, but access may be restricted until the plan is renewed.

Miro already integrates with tools like Google Drive, OneDrive, etc, and the integration ecosystem continues to grow. To learn more about Miro, you can start here: https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us

Hope this helps with your decision!
