I’d really like comments to be able to be placed above objects without attaching itself to that object, so when I delete to object without remembering to first move the comment off the top, the comment doesn’t also get deleted. As an example. We have a map with a bunch of pdf files dropped on that we they use comments to provide feedback. Best feature for it as you can colour code and mark as resolved. However, after enough feedback has been received the pdf files get updated and the new version copied into Miro. I then replace the old pdf with the new one. When we do this we want to keep all the old comments for traceability.At the moment to do this, I have to mark to show all resolved comments and then manually drag them over to the new pdf, then delete the old pdf.I thought of putting the comment to one side so they’re not actually attached to the pdf, but these pdfs are sometimes pretty complex and without them being on top of very specific parts of the pdf it can be unclear what t

During a session I would like to send participants to breakout rooms to work indepently from other participants. Then I would like to share the in sequence the work done on each break out board with the whole group. I have seen community discussions about parts of this (e.g., embed the break out boards), but I need specific instructions about how to accomplish this.  Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I want to be able to create a whole bunch of shapes/stickies during brainstorming, and then afterwards while I am identifying relationships drag a line from the start shape, through a bunch of others and then let go on the last one and for Miro to create all the separate connections for me. So I can click and drag once, but connect multiple shapes to end up with: 

It is so annoying when I try to work on miro and every time I double click on text there are appearing pop up dictionary of the word I’ve been double clicked from slack app with message to log in to slack. I’m new to miro so I don’t know how to turn off.

Hi,I added a comment on one of my sticky notes, and since then I cannot edit new sticky notes. I can edit the ‘old’ ones, but when I add a new one (by copy/paste) it’s like in a different mode. The double click makes me in a kind of selection mode, and the Edit options are different on the new ones and the old ones.When I right-click and select Edit in old ones, it gives me access to the text on the sticky note. When I right-click and select edit in the new ones, it gives me these options instead:Thanks for your help!

New Miro user.If I create a bunch of stickies to outline a process, and then re-arrange them into the order they are in the process, how do I export that based in the order?Example:I create 4 post it notesPut bread in toaster Get toaster out of cupboard Set the setting dial to 4 Open the bread bagI re-arrange them to their correct orderOpen the bread bag Get toaster out of cupboard Put bread in toaster Set the setting dial to 4I now want to export the stickies in the order I put them on the page. I’ve been using Miro for over a year, adding tables when needed. I know my way around them fairly well. I recently used the Gantt chart template (please don’t judge, sometimes they’re useful), which has a premade table in it. I was unable to add rows, or change anything. it seemed a bit buggy in the interactions, which I haven’t encountered before And now I can’t add any tables at all to any of my boards. Is there a setting that’s changed somewhere because of the gantt chart template? Are tables currently facing any known bugs?

It would be great to be able to change the board easier, now I have to go back to the list of boards and open another one

Well this was less than ideal. Kicked off my first training session with 20 participants and clicked on Share board to find I can no longer allow visitors. This cost me about 20 min trying to figure out what the heck was going on and the only option I had was to invite everyone as guests. Not great at all - the whole reason we use visitors is so that participants do not have to put in their email addresses and our account doesn’t get spammed with hundreds of useless accounts. Is this a bug? Is this some new functionality that was rolled out? Have you guys ever considered feature toggles that I as an end user can control? As in… let me decide when I want the entire interface to change… let me decide if I want to try out the right click to move… let me decide when I want to turn on feature X that is super disruptive if we find out about it on the day it’s turned on? 

Not sure what key / option I hit when using Miro - but all the controls are now extra extra large making it very hard to use - as it has reduced the number of controls I can see.   I can’t find a setting / option to correct that.   I have googled and searched here but I am not finding a relevant topic. Any help would be much appreciated.   And zooming in/out changes the size of the board - but doesnt change the menu and controls.   

Hi, I’m using Google Chrome in Ubuntu 20.04 to access Miro. Every time I try to use the middle click to navigate the scene, it would automatically paste something. Is there anyway to disable the middle click to paste function in Miro? 

Tried in Chromium-Browser and Firefox-ESR. I can log in but the dashboard will not load. It works on Windows machines on the same network. We are not using Pi Hole or any other firewalls or blocking software.This worked for a long time but suddenly stopped working a few months ago.This also works in a Debian VM, but still not in Rasbian.

HII need to create jira strories from Miro board, and a miro community tells me that I can export all of notes to excel how ever this option is completely missing from the miro board that was shared with me. Are there any properties/settings that need to turned on for this option ?https://community.miro.com/developer-platform-and-apis-57/export-button-not-available-4266 I did read this board as well but as new to Miro and I am unable to copy paste  or create a new board as well. Please advice. I also read the Miro and Jira can be integrated but I do not see this as well, any pointers on how this can be done ? Please advice.Thanks

In the board i created, everyone became a viewer and there is no editor right now.When I click request ediyor rights, i am reaching the request mail. But in my profile i am not able to view this board as an owner.And after i click the mail to give permission as an editor, board page is coming but i am reaching this message. What should I do? Hello community, I’m a beginner and trying to embed a whiteboard in my website via “Temporary boards for anonymous users” approach I have added a button and on that button, I have added click event listener. That event listener will initialise the board picker(same steps mentioned in documentation). When I click that button, boards picker opens in new window and offers 2 options : 1) Sign In 2) Create Board When I click create board, It displays alert : “SOMETHING WENT WRONG” May be I’m making some mistake while generating JWT token. Hii’m trying to implement some character animations into a miro board and i’m noticing that the playback speed is almost a half of the original GIF speed. if i play it outside miro is more snappy and it looks much closer to the original full render video. In miro it’s super slow and doesn’t reflect accurately the original animation.Is there any settings i am not aware of? or it’s just a case of streaming content speed?thanks

Hi. Lately when I use Miro on my laptop, it overheats quickly to the point where I need to stop using it. It doesn’t happen with other apps and programs I use. Has anyone experience this, or does anyone have an idea how to fix it. Thank you!

unfortunately the app does not load the boards from the online application of internet explorer? Does anyone know the prolem and has a solution?Greetings Marco

Hello - we open our board, zoom in to the content we’ve uploaded previously and those PDFs start to load, but then disappear completely. They even disappear on the map (no more blue rectangles). This started last night. Any tips? I emailed support.

Hello community,as a company we are thinking about switching from the consultant to the epterprise plan. I have already seen the table with all the named advantages. But there are a couple of questions left:Which exact advantages has the switch for the users, especially the team admins? Can users be invited more easily? (We currently don’t allow in our company the share by link option) Which information security advantages has the switch? Do more companys allow to use Miro when using the enterprise plan? Can personal data be used on Miro in the Enterprise plan? Even according to the german data protection law? Are customer data more protected on the entperprise plan?Thank you very much :)

I have a piece of text that was in a table cell but when I move the table, the text appears orphaned on the background canvas. I can’t select it, it doesn’t appear to be locked and I’ve tried in the app and a browser with cookies cleared. I’d really appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction!Non-selectable text
