Hi all, I was on an education plan and I had important boards that I owned. When the plan ended I lost the boards, so I first fiddled around and deleted thinking because I had too many teams my work wasn’t showing but in reality it was the plan. I now am back on a plan but I do not see any of my boards. I was the owner of the team that I left so how do I have access to the boards again if they are important? I have the links to the board as well but when putting them in the browser it just says the link is expired. PLEASE HELP

I have the Copy & Paste problem inside Miro boards on Windows 11 in web version on Firefox 115.0.2 (64-bit, all addons disabled) and in Miro x64 app too (downloaded from miro.com). This issue happens because for some reason web version on Firefox and Miro app can’t copy anything from a board to the Windows Clipboard, and it doesn’t matter if I use Ctrl+C, or Right Mouse Button copy option. Tried Shift+Ctrl+C too. There is no such problem with Google Chrome. Please see this GIF:As you can see, there is nothing in the Clipboard after copying from the board.Sometimes it works in the Miro app after I restart it, but after some time the issue returns.Duplicating with Alt+Left Mouse Button drag works, and copying and pasting between boards works in Google Chrome, so I will use this as a workaround until the fix for Miro app and web version on Firefox will eventually come (I hope so!) 🙂Today this issue was described by another Miro user here:https://community.miro.com/ask-the-community-4

Hello! The docs says:“To provide a great experience for your users and meet app review requirements, we recommend using UI components from our interface library, Mirotone. We have an App card CSS component that you can use to represent Miro app cards in your interface.” Could you please point me to an example of how I can apply App Card CSS Component to my app cards. For example, I want to make custom layout of an app card, add checkboxes and buttons. Thank you!

I have a Miro board I am using for a university class, there are many students (≈90) in this Miro board, all populating it with lots of their own content.Essentially each student has a long (currently empty) “lane” which they will, over the course of the unit, populate with research, brainstorming, sketches, prototypes (their design process) as they complete various design projects. I am trying to organise it so that it is not completely overwhelming, for students/staff to enter. One way I was hoping to do this was to suggest students “pin” (or “set as start view”) their own “lane”. What I’m not sure of, is:A: Can individuals have their own “set start view” that only corresponds to themB: Is this the best way to ensure that when they open up the Miro, they will immediately be in their own work, rather than having to scroll around through thousands of images looking for their own work? Many thanks!-colin

I am doing a demo for my group of all the AI features. However, when I use the Mrio app in zoom, none of the AI feature works. I get the error message: “Something went wrong. Please try again later”. Anyone able to get it to work or Any plan to make the AI features work in the app?  

I can not add "Miro" app to my zoom app via the Zoom Marketplace or via Miro.  Seems to be stuck in a loop.

Can you include thumbnails in Brand Assets so you don’t have to retroactively go in to upload a new logo every time for a project? Also when you do upload, it doesn’t keep them but you have to re-upload every image per board which is frustrating.  Can you include ‘emojis’ in brand assets so we can upload custom emojis that will function library wide for our team?

Dear Miro user, I have a question about the authorisations when installing Azure cards.I work in a larger company with a lot of teams in Azure.How does the authorisation work in Azure?If I work in Miro, do I have the same authorisation to view the same number of boards I have in Azure Devops? Or can I also see cards of other teams?

We started using Azure Cards in our Miro boards and are now running into some practical issues. One of them is caused by the fact that we have a lot of projects in one Azure DevOps organization and most of the projects are open to all of our staff.As a result, when adding a story using Azure Cards, we see all stories of all project.Is it possible to filter the list to only show the stories that belong to a particular Azure DevOps project? 

We really like azure cards integration.We use it a lot during analysis.But for some reason, the cards do not stay on their position.I tried to lock them but still they jump to another position when a board is reopened.I think it happens when the related User Stories are updated in azure. 

 Is it possible to prevent the automatic conversion of a minus sign into a bullet point? I would like to use the UML class diagram template, but after entering the minus sign and pressing the space bar, it is converted. This is very annoying if no enumeration is desired. But I couldn't find any help or a setting for this anywhere.

Hi - I’m trying to create a systems map in Miro and want to add directional flow information on connecting lines. I can add + no problem, but - creates a shortcut to a bullet point. Really doing my head in. Is there any way to disable it?ThanksNick 

Hi everyone! I am thinking to build a new web plugin to manage Miro board elements and I have found that this can be done with JS, specifically with NodeJS and ExpressJS. My question is how someone could "hide", secure the JavaScript source code of the web plugin as it can be easily inspected in the web browser with web developer tools. This is fine for open source systems but how to build it for a proprietary system so that the code is not visible? Does anyone have implemented a proprietary web plugin for Miro? Do I have to build a backend system, authorization, etc? Thanks 🙏

I upgraded my team and am therefore the billing admin on the account. I do not have the option to view, update, or even cancel my team’s subscription. This is incredibly frustrating and I would now like to cancel the subscription - but how am I supposed to do that?

Hi all,I am trying to set up Request Management to create a ticket in our Jira instance when a license is requested. But, we restrict access to create issues in that Jira project to only select People. Does anyone know the “From:” address that Miro is using to send this request to Jira? If I know that, I can create a service account in our instance and add it to our Project.Thank you! 

Hey all,I’m investigating using Miro as a knowledge repository of all our user research sessions. We use Miro extensively as a business anyway and we’ve seen some success with this.Now with Miro Assist you’d think it’d be pretty easy to be able to take a transcript and get Miro to make sticky notes of what you want - and mostly it is! It’s just hard to know what Miro Assist can do...and what it can’t do.I’m having some issues:When I ask Miro assist to do my request i.e. “summarise this feedback into individual points of feedback by X and not X” it does it well and presents me an answer in the chat of what it would show...and yet when I ask it to make it into cards it tries to summarise it again and I’m left with less cards than bullet points. Any ideas why? I wanted it to add tags to the sticky notes of the person who made the comment, their company and the piece of functionality they were talking about. Weirdly it actually gets all the information right - but it doesn’t seem to be abl

I want to copy an object from a frame and paste in the same place in a different frame (on in the same frame). The same function that on Illustrator you get with Shift+Command+V.Can anyone help me?Thanks!

I’ve been using Miro for a few months but how has this not been addressed? You legit cannot read white text in tags. I work in Product—this is not a hard fix but a lack of Miro team not reading their forums. I use Miro for my University group projects and subjects a lot, however in the past couple of days there shows no boards in my profile, and I cannot access the boards that I have created. When I logged into Miro on my iPhone, it shows 'no accounts available'. I was able to reset my password for that account but still no boards. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to recover my account and boards?

I use Miro for dev team refinements and they vote by selecting a numbered sticky note.  It would be great if I didn’t have to select the same area over and over each time they vote. 

Hey Workshoppers!I’m building out a workshop that needs to be repeated/facilitated by multiple people. There are some prompts that I want the facilitator to use at specific sections, however including them on the board would distract from the participants. I’m thinking of perhaps creating a notion page / document for the co-facilitators to use and follow while they conduct the workshop, however I’m wondering if there’s anything that I am missing... What are the best practices for facilitator/speaker notes that are only meant to be seen by the facilitator?

I’m in the process of converting a PowerPoint deck into Miro and was wondering how people used facilitator notes on their Miro boards?I can take a transparent approach and keep everything visible, but i also like the idea of having some notes for facilitator eyes only.Does anyone have a solutions for this? I was thinking about the possibility of using hidden frames too..
