Recommendations for Quickly Finding a Spot on the Baord

Hello! My teams do their primary project work on a Miro board on a daily basis for a couple months straight. This makes our boards quite large and it can be hard to for some to quickly find what we are currently working on. We use the ‘Follow’ feature to find someone already working in the board but wondering if anyone has any ways to Pin or shortcut specific areas of the board to make it quicker to navigate to them.

Hello @JessicaJ!

A few approaches here could be:

  • Add a memorable search keyword – tip: Use the hashtag to better target the phrase. For example, using #here would only return one result, even if you had words or phrases like “somewhere” or “here you have...”.

  • Another option is using the Visual Notes panel – You could put a link to an object, e.g., a frame where you are currently working in the visual notes panel:

You can even pin the panel open, to ensure greater visibility as your pinning it will pin it for all participants:

I hope this helps! Let us know if you have any more questions.

Thanks for sharing @Robert Johnson! We’ll give those a try.
