Inspiration and connection

I would like to share my little story about experience on Miro. I heard about Miro from approach of Miro consultant in HK, and they offered me and my colleagues about function of Miro board. After that, I moved to new company and I need to work on a details workplan about system requirement. I started to use Miro. Miro is user friendly and I made a great work plan on Miro. But trouble comes when I need to export my workplan the output is in very low resolution. Upgraded subscription is required to out a clear pdf. From the billing article which (mislead me / I misunderstand) they charge with prorate, and currency is not shown. I found the problem after paid a month subscription and the CS, Balazs helps a lot on my case with patient which I would like to show my appreciation on it. Other than that, day pass provide a high flexibility to user  which is now only offered to enterprise or consultant. I would strongly recommend to provide this flexibility to all users.

As inspired by @Sam Shennan, this is a call to all the creative folks out there who are using Miro! If you have created some artwork natively (i.e. without copying and pasting or uploading content from outside of Miro) which you feel is worthy of exhibition in a museum (or at least your foyer  ), please share it with the rest of the Miro community below! To avoid conflict of interest and because I don’t have a visual creative bone in my body, I will not be submitting my “chicken scratch” Miro drawings  Since I guess I should share just how bad my drawings are: (It’s an eye if you were having difficulties with it :-) ) 

It has been a different year, one that pushed us to reinvent ourselves and the way we work. I am pleased to invite you to visit the MARK-19 exhibition on Miro, which I willingly initiated. Are you a board owner who has facilitated a Miro board session with external, non-team participants and want to see their name beside their cursor* and not some random “Guest” name, e.g., Guest Editor, Guest Artisan, Guest Researcher? While the typical workaround is for that guest editor to first sign up for a free Miro account, there is another way.*While I will keep referring to the benefit of the guest editor’s “name showing beside their cursor”, their name will also show up in:the participants panel (top-right of board); activity List pane (history of actions taken by that user); comments; an object’s Info pane, e.g., Created by: Bob Smith.--Disclaimer: The steps outlined in this post are a number of different Miro functionalities at the time of this post that I found, when combined, could accomplish my desired outcome. Hi Miro Heroes ! Maybe this has been questioned before (but i didn’t found  )I use Miro, mostly for Agile Ceremonies and even for PI plannings and other Scrum stages. I would like to enhance Miro. Can you, experienced Miro users, tell me how and when you use it? It really helps within the remote work and narrow the difficulties? How is your team response and feedback regardin Miro ? Hello,as someone who often enough is filling the wishlist with his own wishes:I’ve noticed sometime a harshly demanding tone to make clear that a wish is urgently needed.We all know this - And everyone here can be sure:Miro knows about the urgent states of wishes.But please remember this:Miro is a great growing company that has over 15 million people using miro and it has grown so fast.Miro listens to every wish but it is a company that has to take care about much much more at this point … that doesn’t mean that we cannot vote for our wishes here… that doesn’t mean we cannot ask from time to time what about thisbut it cannot allow us to ask in the wishlist:“would you please respond to the requested topic”Miro got’s it’s own strategy in responding or in not respondig to requests and like in every company there are things that miro is not able to talk about with us because we are customers and not mironeers - Whoever works with customers knows:You’re not sharing everything you plan in yo

Do distributed/remote teams use Miro as a knowledge centre? I simply wish to store somewhat unorganised notes from Slack somewhere. It would be cool to add visual stuff and keep them tidy in one place. Do you believe it would be a smart idea to use Miro as an all-in-one silo for all company knowledge and processes, and notes. As a founder of a young startup I try to keep the budget lean. It would be great if we could avoid paying extra for tools like Notion or Confluence. Please share your thoughts.

The new Grid tool showed up in my Miro environment today and I love it compared to the basic table tool! The ability to easily move columns and rows around, to have multiple collaborators able to edit different cells at the same time and to drop objects into the cells are a big step forward.  Now, I just have to go back to all the boards in which I’d created “fake” grids using rectangles and combinations of text boxes and other objects and replace them with grids  ! I would like to use Miro for an upcoming virtual conference. There will be about 300 attendees, so they will all have their own email addresses. Can I create a board and send them a link to access it and edit it even thought they do not have email addresses with the same domain Name as me?

Could you please suggest which Miro templates are suitable for the below items:1. Interactive Product Integration diagrams - To represent the integration of different softwares in a company 2. Compatiblity Matrix - To create a compatibility matrix having different third party software used within a product. Hi everyone, my business has an 8 month B2B Strategic Partnerships Program that in the old days of f2f workshops, we delivered in 3 modules of 2-3 days per module (plus some other support activities like one-on-one coaching).We initially moved 2 of the program modules online using Zoom, PDFs of our original workshop materials, and then Mural. Like many others, pivoting from in-person training to virtual training was painful using Zoom, teams, LiveWebinar and Webex. The topic of international standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO/IEC 17025 have the potential to be incredibly boring, even in person. My role play roles and physical gestures were a mainstay to keep students awake!It only took seeing Miro once to already see the potential for engagement of every person in the room and deepening their understanding.  And most of all, be able to apply the concepts!Building in Miro for the activities was straightforward thanks to being able to use or create templates. The timer keeps people honest. For training, Miro saved the day.Within our own company, however, we have taken uses of Miro to the next level. We use it to design training by mind mapping concepts and then ordering content in logical sequences. And of course, rearranging the content and activities as the concepts get refined.I love having easy access t

I just completed my first few Miro workshops.  I experienced a repeated problem.  Maybe I missed something but I locked almost every board and object but I had pre-loaded some of the frames with blank sticky notes.  At one point during the workshop, a participant or many participants moved all the sticky notes, I’m sure by accident.  I’m not sure if they accidentally highlighted them all or they were grouped by me beforehand.  At any rate, are there any settings or ways to avoid participants moving things around?  It messes with a facilitated session if you get to a board that has been manipulated inadvertently.  It has happened to me in every session I’ve done.  It would be great if there were some controls to limit participants privileges on the board in terms of what tools they can use.  Like can you lock them out of making arrows or shapes, etc?Thank you!
