I urgently need your assistance. I’ve paid for a plan, but my account still shows as “Free.” I am unable to use the features I paid for, I cannot cancel or access the paid plan, and I’ve received no way to contact someone directly for help.I’m currently trying to prepare and deliver a live workshop, and I’ve already lost over an hour trying to resolve this issue. This is time-sensitive and critical to my work. The system shows the payment was successful, but the upgrade has not been applied.Please help me activate the correct plan as soon as possible. Hi it seems since 14/08/25 a number of devs across our teams are experiencing an issue with pasting gifs:When pasting gifs through the Miro app the gifs are automatically converted to images rather than gifs. When pasting gifs through the Miro browser the gifs appear like images until you refresh the page. This is better but its quite time consuming to have to refresh boards every time you need to paste a gif.Some more info:We’ve tested pasting into empty & non-empty boards. The gifs we are using are below 30mb.

I’ve been trying to export in high quality pdf and a pop-up appears saying “sorry, something went wrong while generating the PDF document”. 

Hello,Recently, YouTube videos have stopped working properly on Miro. When I click on a video, nothing happens — it doesn’t respond at all, as if it were just an image. The only way to play the video now is by opening it in Focus Mode. However, this creates other problems, as my students can no longer see the text and tasks for the video while watching it. They have to open the video in a new tab and watch it on YouTube while doing the task on Miro.I’ve noticed that this issue only affects newly added videos. The videos I uploaded before last week still work fine. Is this a bug or something could be done to remedy the situation?Also, I can no longer cut videos, as the trimming option seems to be missing. Has this feature been removed?Thank you for your help.

I’m having to leave Miro to lay out flowcharts in Adobe Illustrator instead, due to the interface becoming buggy.   I’m using MacMini M2 with Sonoma OS, downloaded the ‘desktop’ app. The latest annoying bug is that if I use the ‘drag’ view (pan across screen using middle mouse-button), it gets stuck on that feature, I can’t move the cursor without zooming off drawing-board, or accidentally moving/editing the content on page.HAve you tested the desktop app on Mac OS on actual Apple hardware?  or just in X-code simulator?

Bit of an odd one this. Whenever I touch the whiteboard canvas with finger or Apple Pencil, the keyboard opens. It doesn’t add text when I type, just triggers the standard keyboard shortcuts. This doesn’t happen if I click menu items or change tools. feels like I may have forced some keyboard shortcut mode, but can’t find the option. And ideas?

Hi,I’ve seen this happen for weeks now. I will export a PDF of a board and some of the frames/pages in the resulting PDF will have parts missing - either an image or some text, or both. There’s no pattern whatsoever: sometimes the frame in question will only contain some text and that will be missing. Very infuriating. When I go back to the board, right-click the frame and choose ‘Copy as image’ and paste it somewhere, it works alright. However, the PDFs end up messed up.

Since October 21, as soon as I open a Timer, the “8/8” unlocked features appears in the system tray and when I close the timer, the confetti launches. Ending presentation mode has also caused the feature/confetti to appear.I have a support ticket open for this and will update this post as I hear back from the support team.

Scenario:I group two stickies together I group two more stickies together, resulting two groups of two stickies I locked all four stickies at once When I unlock the group of two groups of two stickies, the two groupings are lost, i.e., all four stickies can be moved independently.I have a support ticket open for this and will report back.

Note:I have a support ticket open for this and am just posting in case anyone is experiencing the issue and wants to subscribe to this post to receives updates as I hear back from the support team.Every time a board is launched, the select tool should be active: Sometime around May 24, 2025, I noticed that when I open any board from a new browser sessions, the select tool is active, but once I go back to the Miro dashboard and open any other board, the select tool is not active, i.e., I am in pan mode. This happens in all subsequent board openings in the same browser session. If I close the browser, open it again, and go back to a board, the select tool is active and the whole process repeats.This is happening in Windows 11 in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox; even in incognito/no browser extensions enabled. And on multiple machine, and all of my Miro accounts. And to some other Windows users whom I spoke with.

All the tasks are not in th right place. How to replace them back?

I’m being signed out from the website anytime I access any feature, sometimes I don’t even leave the login screen. I quit Miro because of this issue 8 months ago, now i’m back and I still have the same issue on a completely different computer.  I have cleared my cache and cookies and followed all the FAQ suggestions surrounding logging in, and I’ve even made a second account to no avail. This is a persistent issue, using Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. I really want to use Miro but the site is doing all it can to stop me.

So I have just updated my MIRO account to a Starter plan which includes being able to download boards with higher resolution. But for some reason when I try to download a board it will not let me Can someone please help me. Is it because when I am on my board I am not my team….

Somthing suddenly happened with my GRID in Miro. I Think i moved it…. And then suddenly all the shapes changed size. Why does this happen? This is what is was privously: I can’t undue it…. and now need to reconstruct it as a whole… wasting my whole day.Edit: I did copy it from an older restored version.is there something i am doing wrong using the Grid?

When I use a pen, I write in one place and after I stop writing, everything that was written is suddenly transferred to another place and so on with everything, with text, with what was written, etc.

Hello Everyone, My company recently joined Miro, and the question arose, after a recent resignation, What happens when a user created a few Miro Boards (That other team members are accessing), they leave the company, now what are the next steps, so that those boards do not get deleted or go in a dormant state. I seen that if you delete the user profile from Miro it’ll purge out any and all boards they have created; but does this mean if I transfer ownership, then delete profile, would Miro still consider those boards his?   Is it something as simple as transferring the ownership to myself (Admin Account) on the Miro Portal, or is there something else that should be getting done?   Any input is greatly appreciated!

Why don’t my students see timer on miro?

Good afternoon! I want to ask, do people from Ukraine have more than  3 free boards? Because my friends do and they are from Ukraine as me.

I had this idea! I am looking to create a more-or-less all-in-one place for managing my web design clients. I am currently using Trello for task management, but also need a visual space for wireframes, sitemaps and sharing mockups. Then I thought it might be possible to use Miro as a Content Hub, where clients can login, upload content for the site, such as logos, text copy, images etc. Clients can then upload Google Docs, PDFs etc. or write content into a document. Then I thought, if Miro has a Kanban template, why not use that and ditch Trello??? I could add all project related tasks and the client can see them, respond, mark as done etc. So……, I’m throwing this idea out here before I even consider using it live so that I can gauge opinions and ideas. So far, I can see a few issues:Legibility - I created this on a 32” screen so can accommodate a lot of info on the board. This would mean a lot of scrolling on a phone or a smaller laptop screen.
