I try to copy a diagram via all sorts of ways.
Then I want to paste it in the same board or a different board but I just get a text box with the texts but no shapes.
I use simple shapes like boxes with text and edges (graph).

That’s wierd. When you say “diagram” do you just mean any collection of shapes - or a real diagram like a mind map or UML?
What can happen is that Miro gets “MSU” which is short for “majorly screwed up” -- if you do a browser hard refresh (CONTROL R in Mac) it will force the page to load 100% fresh and this often clears up unusual problems.
