When going into focus mode on table, timeline, kanban the search function no longer works. If you press ctrl+F, you can’t search, but if you exit focus mode and going back to canvas, the ‘search box’ is actually opened from the time you pressed it during focus mode.
Reason why i want to search in a table is to search for text within the specific table (long list of action items).
Is there anything I'm missing or should do differently?

At the moment, the Ctrl+F search function works on the full board canvas, but it doesn’t run inside focus mode for specific widgets (like tables, timelines, or kanban). That’s why you see the search box appear only after you exit focus mode. If you’d like to search within a single table for action items, a workaround is to exit focus mode and use Ctrl+F from the full board, or copy the table contents into an external tool that supports inline search.
That said, I can see how being able to search directly within a focused widget would be useful. We recommend adding this request to the Miro Wish List, where the product team reviews feature suggestions and other users can upvote them.
