I have been using templates in a small scale for a while, creating personal custom templates.But I have some struggles how to scale this. How are you iterating on templates? When editing templates I see almost no board features at all. For example, Version history.How are you using custom templates when creating together, or creating new versions?I only really see one way to achieve this and that’s to have a creators board and do edits in this Board and replicate any latest updates into an actual template. Thanks for any tips on how you handle this

Thank you for this opportunity!But i haven’t received any letters from you about the situation with closing and deleting account from Russia on 12th September 2024. I just read news and now I’m confused.Could you please explain one more time: will I be able to work with my dashboards after 12th of September? And if not, is there any another possibilities? Because my students love your service a lot.Thank you.

I know that Miro is leaving Russia, but what should I do with my profile if I registered on the platform via an email that I made in Russia, but I never used Miro on Russian territory? In this case, will the platform lose access?

Did the recent (probably 2-3 months back) shortcut changes remove the shortcuts for Copy/Paste formatting?  In the right-click context menu, the copy / paste formatting shortcuts show...but they don’t appear to work.Are these shortcuts no longer valid (and just haven’t been removed from the right click / context menu) or is there something weird going on with my browser (Chrome - I don’t see any conflicting shortcuts)? If these were removed, they should be brought back ASAP -- this was one of my key user adoption tools to get people into Miro, as its a pain (multiple clicks) in PowerPoint. 

The web product adds borders around text using the concept/mind mapping template arbitrarily and I can’t find a way to remove the border. So out of 100 nodes on the map, there are about 5 that randomly have borders around them. Help!

I’ve been receiving charges on my work purchasing card but am showing as being on a free education plan.I have been trying to contact Miro to ask how to resolve the charges but am not getting any response. Any advice would be gratefully received.Many thanks.

As you can see for some reason the  board refuses to register anything I write in the area. Even if I move to a different place that issue persists. What should I do?

I’m exploring custom templates. I noticed that when I edit a template, all of the UI disappears. Here’s a simple template in edit mode:  When I change it, there’s no feedback about it being saved. So after several seconds I close the window. Then when I try to use the template it’s still using the initial template, rather than the one after my edits. What am I doing wrong?

Hi, I would like to know if it’s possible to add extra text on another text and show it only when you run your mouse over it, a bit like alt text. It’s mostly to avoid having too much on the Miro board.  I hope it’s clear enough and thanks in advance!

VIDEO PLEASEWe desperately need the capability to locally upload a video file whether mp4 or mov and playback on the boards.Most of our presentations contain animations for both traditional Arch Viz as well as animated diagrams and interactive video. We love the ability to use the boards as slides in presentation mode, but typically we will have to migrate to Powerpoint, Figma, or even Mural because Miro does not have this feature. Mural being a similar online whiteboard collaboration tool allows you to drop any mp4 file up to over 50 mb. This is extremely useful when we are redlining and reviewing work from animators in addition to still renders.It would be great to show to clients and our other internal teams that Miro can be a solution at all phases of a project and not just for static collaboration.

Hey there!Looking for a way to place a video on a Miro board? You can upload the video to a video-sharing platform (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) and simply paste the video link on a board using the shortcuts Ctrl/Cmd+C/Ctrl/Cmd+V. The media will be displayed right on the board!  Please keep in mind that the visual preview is only shown if the source service settings allow it: private videos are not displayed on Miro boards but you can go to the video source.

I recently purchased the Starter Plan for my team. One person on the team was already using Miro, so getting her set up was easy. However, when I sent invitations to my other team members, they had to create accounts for themselves. When my boss created her account, she wasn’t able to see that she was connected to our Starter Plan at all. What are the steps for getting everyone set up? I’m having trouble finding them in the many, many FAQs on Miro!

A few days ago it worked ok, thought I often had to unlock OneDrive and to reopen Miro.But now Miro still asks for authorization even when OneDrive unlocked.I tried to reinstall and reconnect OneDrive in Miro profile settings, but it doesn’t help :(I can see the list of files, but cant upload them or open “Personal vault”   

Hello.I created  a new miro account using my work email address today.  I wanted to try out miro for work.I believe our company actually has bought the software so how can I delete my personal account so that I can recreate a new account for work using the same email address?I only created the account today so I do not have anything that needs to be saved.

Hi,We are on a Starter plan and we have noticed that if we share a single board with the external users, those users can see all boards in the team rather than just the board that was initially shared with them.Is there a way to stop it give the current Plan we are on? That is very insecure as those users have access so many information.Thanks,Slawek

Hello everyone!Just passing by to ask a (sort of silly) question. I’d like to import my work in Jamboards but one can only do so if you have a paid account. I wonder if I could pay one month subscription, import everything and if then after cancelling my subscription I’d still be able to see my content, or if by cancelling the subscription I’d also lose my boards.  Could anyone help me with this?  Thanks!

I’ve created a MIRO board on my work email, which I’ve subsequently been locked out of with the error “only available to educators in the education team”. I can view it, but I cannot open any of the items on the board. Anyone know how to get back in, or how to duplicate the board to another account I do have access to?

Hey there,we created a big road map for our internal project. But when zooming into it, the content disappears.This only happens in chrome and only if I'm using full size of the monitor.When i use a smaller window this doesn't happen.It's really annoying to not use the full size of my monitor for the board.I cannot upload a video file here so lets see how we can fix this...

I decided to try Miro for the exact use case described on the website: https://miro.com/diagramming/circuit-diagram/Unfortunately I can’t find any libraries and templates that follow this use case. Was this removed recently? Is there anything similar that’s available?

Hi there, I am working on a large board with 20+ frames organised all nice and neatly. I love that I can use the frames sidebar to quickly navigate between them, however when I’m zoomed out the board looks a mess as the frame titles don’t scale down (and in fact visually are just a duplicate of the text box title I put in each frame that does scale). I would love to have the ability to toggle frame titles on or off - effectively so that they are still there as a meta for the frame (allowing me to navigate using the frames panel) but not messing up the visuals of the board. Once I have put a properly formatted title on each frame using a text box having the frame title always visible doesn’t help at all. Is this possible please?

Hi everybody! I am teaching with Miro and have encountered a problem. There are hidden elements that are only revealed later in the course, but when students double click one of the images or text boxes in the available materials, the “hidden for now” becomes translucent (see screenshots below; I'm not logged in for those so it’s what students can do).Do you know how I can hide the materials properly? Thanks in advance!Henrik  Nothing selected:  image double clicked:
