I’m about 30% through mapping our end-to-end business process in Miro, using a swimlane diagram created from template. It’s already quite complex and I’m starting to tear my hair out because:

  • Each time I open the board, something seems to have moved in the formatting / alignment of items, meaning I have to spend 10 mins moving them back to their correct positions before I can start. Items don’t even stay in the swimlane where I put them…
  • I frequently need to expand the diagram area and move parts of the chart around, to make space for items I find I’ve forgotten to include. Again, this often seems to lead to a lot of re-alignment.

I’ve checked out the Miro tutorials and learning academy, but this doesn’t seem to be addressed anywhere.

Any advice or guidance would be very welcome!

I have the same issue.
I had multiple maps on one board, and I opened it the next morning and something had moved them all around /entangled them all.

The second issue is that even using “Restore” does not resolve it - it restores other edits made, but not the corrupted positioning.

It seems to be an actual bug.
