Hi, I want to interlink all my boards on the canvas. Suppose I add some details and automatically it will come on my other dashboard with status and progress etc.within the same canvas I am not able to figure it out

What you’re describing sounds like cross-board syncing or a dashboard-style automation. At the moment, Miro doesn’t fully support automatic updates across boards, but here are some options:

1. Manual linking
You can link to other boards by copying the board link and attaching it to shapes, stickies, or text. This won’t sync content but allows quick access.

2. Dashboard approach
You can create a central board that summarizes updates from other boards. Team members can update it manually or use synced visual elements like tags and status cards.

3. Space and Section
You can create  Spaces and sections for your boards to categorize them in your dashboard

 

To help further, could you clarify:

  • Are you trying to pull data from multiple boards into one?

  • Do you need updates to reflect in real time, or is periodic syncing acceptable?

Yes, ideally I’m looking to create an overview board that acts as a central hub, which would then be connected to smaller tables representing various segments or departments. Each of these would further break down into daily tasks.

My goal is to ensure that any updates made on the department-level boards are automatically reflected on the main overview board — so real-time syncing would be ideal for this workflow.

In that case, I’d recommend checking out Synced copies — a feature available on Business and Enterprise plans. It lets you embed live widgets like frames, diagrams, and other content across multiple boards. Any updates made to the original are reflected in real time wherever it's synced.

This could help you:

  • Build a central overview board with live snapshots of department-level boards.

  • Keep everything visually connected and consistently updated without needing to jump between boards.
