One of the biggest upgrades Miro could make would be the ability to load 3D STEP files for collaborative engineering within a Miro board, and allow for basic model manipulation similar to what is possible in programs like Fusion 360 or Solidworks but in a collaborative space, there currently is nothing like that available which is crazy in 2022, this capability would create a incredible collaboration experience that would create a MIRO HOLODECK. If this is being considered and is going into Beta testing, I would happily be a beta tester for that functionality, staying the 2D FLAT Plane is great for certain things but you are trying to imagine the Z AXIS there is nothing like showing people depth and form in it’s truest form without VR headsets.

I began my MIRO journey with a free plan, and have created two free plan teams. Now I have upgraded to a Business Plan, but as a new Team. So how do I migrate my boards from the two free plan teams to my new Business Plan Team?

I am trying to update card data on a board via this REST API. The “title”, “description” etc are updating successfully. But there’s an issue with updating the “date” to null/empty if there’s no date coming from the back-end. I have tried sending the null/undefined/empty date like this:{"data":{"title": "updated title", "dueDate" :null, "description" :"updated description"}Because I want to clear/remove the date on the card when I call the card item update API endpoint. But so far the existing date on the card still remains as it is. Please do help on how the date on the card can be updated to null or cleared/removed.

Hi!I want to enable API access to my boards.My plan ist “Consultant”.I have another account as “Developer”. There I can create ClientID/ClientSecret.But how does this work with a “real” miro board? 

I know the black button “see recent change” shows if you are not visit the board in a while but how can I manual enable “see recent change” for any time? 

how to post anonymous post-its, stickers etc?I want to avoid that all people can see (by right mouse button → info) who has created a post-it . People will not open up, when they know that e.b. their boss can see who was the author of the idea, voting dot etc. 

It seems after I add an arrow head to the end of a line, it’s not possible to remove it. The option for “none” is not on the list. Is this a bug?

Hi Everybody, It’s been a few days that the “None” has disappeared from the option when creating a line. Now lines can only be both sided with an arrow or symbol. Any idea if it’s a bug or just a change in options? Thanks,Thibaud 

Hi,I’m working on an App that will have an embedded Miro, and we will have different users with different features around the canvas.I’m wondering if the toolbar can be customizable? can I remove any item depending on the type of users I have in my application?I know we can actually “hide” elements from the parent toolbar by moving them to a second level, but I’d like to really remove some features in the toolbar depending on my different types of users. Thanks in advance.Regards,Juanfra

Hello everyone!  I want to ask if it’s possible to return the information that wasn’t on board and was corrected by mistake?I wrote a text and only after 2 hours found out that i accidentally “correct” it and only one word has left :(Is there any ways to backup all the changes? My text was typed not on the board but on the right side of it.I’ve checked the board history but it shows me only the fact of correcting this text and doesn’t offer me to backup it Thanks for your help in advance. 

I have recreated a Miro board with frames of different sizes. I’m wondering if there is a way to make the size of all the frames consistent? 

Hi,I have my own web site with an embedded Miro live board.Can I get the events from the elements inside the canvas using the SDK2.0?I mean, is there a way to listen for instance a click event done on a card inside the canvas board? I’m trying to get some data from boards using the REST API and I want to get the URLs of embeds, however the url field is always empty for embeds like below:{ "id": "34587645207273844312", "type": "embed", "title": "Preview the Timer", "url": "",}Is there some way of populating this information? Edit: Same question goes for retrieving images - where is the image data and/or URL

Hello, I am currently evaluating Miro to use it as a shared whiteboard for handwriting with the pen tool (for mathematical formulas). My configuration: web navigator (Chrome, or Safari or Firefox) on macOS Yosemite. I have a Huion tablet with screen and stylet connected to my computer. Using a shared board WITHOUT anyone (except me) connected works perfectly: the writing with the stylet is flawless. But as soon as someone else is connected, the writing is very slow, unresponsive, and so the board is unusable. When using the mouse pointer to “write”, it’s OK is both situations. The problem occurs only when using the stylet. This is not an intrinsic problem with the tablet and stylet since it works perfectly when I am the only one working on the board… Does someone else have this issue? Thanks for any help. Thierry

Hi!How do you go about and do you recommend having Miro withing google drives? Is the google MIRO app legit? Is it safe to give it permissions? How does it work then? I create a miro board and it sits there as a file in a shared drive of our agency?Thanks a bunch!! Krystof

When uploading a document and extract pages i get a handle on the pages to reorganize 16 pages of a ppt to a 4 x 4 or 3 x 6 grid. I can also influence the horizontal spacing when rearranging. I am missing the feature though to rearrange the vertical spacing as well. I have to manually mark each row, after rezising the frame and move it, so that i have some horizontal space to allow to position post its there. The regroup everything. Can you extend the handle in a way that vertical spacing is included in the rearrange movment or a secondary control to influence the vertical spacing?

I am building a .NET Core 6.0 WPF application in Visual Studio 2022 Community. I want to create a board in C# using the Miro https://miro.comtable-sale API. I have obtained CliendID and ClientSecret for authentication. I added RestSharp with NuGet and wrote the code below. It goes through to authentication.After that, I am posting to api.miro.com/v1/board, but I get the error Unauthorized. Has there been any progress in building the linkage between Visio and Miro?

I used to use my old mac which is 10.13.6, & it can run MIRO app smoothly just fine.But now I purchased a new Macbook Air, which is 12.3.1, MIRO’s app suddenly cannot be downloaded from app store.

After giving up looking for a Calendar in Miro, our team had to make one as you can see in the picture below.What’s wrong with this picture? The most ancient time tracking tool is nowhere to be found in Miro. Also , nowhere to be found DARK MODE IN MIRO. How about the ability to change the canvas texture? Nothing... Why?... 

I am trying to create a process roadmap using the proper templates however I want to add a sub process to each, is there a way in swimlane or product roadmap templates where I can create that and make the sub processes shrink or collapse to save space where the main processes are in focus? 

I have tried printing from the browser app several ways. One is direct printing and one is saving as PDF and then printning. In all cases my text is “soft” not crisp like I am used to in charting programs. It’s readable but slightly blurry. I made sure it wasn’t my printer by doing tests without other kinds of files. Is this supposed to be happening? 

Is there any way I can watch the records of past events? Some of them are quite useful for me to better understand how to utilize Miro.

I logged into my board today and noticed that all of my images were missing. I quickly learned they were not missing, but moved to the background. The problem is I can not bring them back to the front. The only way to see the images is to either hide the device or make the background transparent.Has anyone seen this before, and how do I resolved it without having to go frame by frame removing the background?Thanks in advanceI’m on a free account by the way.
