Hello,

I am trying to add a text over the line, and I understand that the current API do not support text over the line.

Two questions:

  1. Do you have a plan to add an API to control the text over the line?
  2. Do you have any workaround to add text?

I am currently trying to add an independent Text close to the Stickers.

I have added this requirement into our backlog. This will be prioritized by our Product Managers for future developments. 

  1. I will come back to you when I have more information, this is not planned for the moment and not high in priorities
  2. The only work around I could think about would be to use a text widget and to place it on the line but it is not ideal especially if the line might be moved around…

It's been 10 months since your previous answer. Is there any news about getting text on a line via the API?

It would be very useful to be able to get a line’s label at least. In my case, I have got manually created diagrams so I can’t use the workaround by placing a text widget on the line to read it back later.
