Two of us have had the same issue. We try to copy or duplicate a frame or object, it appears for about a second, and then disappears. My workaround is to use the “copy as image” feature, but I really want to copy the frame and elements in the frame. Anyone had this happen? Doesn’t seem to be an ownership issue. I own the board. My colleague can also not do this. HELP!!!

Hi @virginia hamilton! How do you go about it? Do you mark all objects and click D, or cmd/ctrl+c and cmd/ctrl+v? Perhaps you could do a screen recording? (You need to convert it to a gif to be able to upload it here though, but there are plenty of online converters to use.)

@virginia hamilton - Had you said it was just you, I would suggest that it could be some bad/glitchy code stuck in your browser or desktop app cache. However, since the issue is not isolated to just yourself, it sounds like either you both may have picked up some bad code (and should clear your browser’s cache or try resetting the app data if using the Miro desktop app.

If the issue persists, try duplicating the entire board and working from the new/duplicate - NOTE: depending on your plan type/sharing setup, the owner may be the only person who can duplicate the board.

As for screen recordings, I would also suggest trying Loom - it is free and quite easy to use & share a short recording. You simply paste the video link right in this reply field.

this is a video of what happens.

@virginia hamilton - Thanks for sharing. I have seen something similar in the past with cards where I try to move them, but they snap right back to where they were.

It looks like you are using the desktop app. Have you tried resetting the app data?

After that, try duplicating the entire board and then try duplicating your frame again on the duplicate board.

Resetting the app data worked! thanks so much.

@Robert Johnson Aah, Loom. Good point! I’ve used it way too little in my life.
