Feedback: Image Filename Missing from context bar after update

After the recent Miro update to adding Alt Tags to images, the images no longer display their filenames. We use miro often to work with many images and use the filenames for search/reference in other apps and documentation.Is there an option somewhere to display the filename or was this feature removed?

[RESOLVED] Links disappeared from boards

Hello,I just began to use Miro recently and created new boards last week.When I got back to it today, all the links (internal to objects and external to sites) I created has disappeared from all the boards! Exept for one, with a mistake I corrected before leaving the board on friday…I tried to recreate the links but everytime I leave the board, the links has disappeared again when I reopen !Does anyone now if it is a frequent issue? Do you know how to restore the links and make them stay?BTW, I am still using the free version because I am testing the tool. Is there maybe a limit of links in free version?And there has been only me working on these boards for the moment.Thank you for the help.

[RESOLVED] Some objects are stuck at the same place and won't move

I have many boards on different accounts and I see the same lag. I tried to move frames, stickers, tables, mindmaps, shapes, it just randomly happens to any of the elements on a board. When I try to drag it to another place, it moves, but the moment I release it, it bounces back to where it was. None of the elements are locked. They are just stuck in random places. Does anybody know what I can do about it? It’s really annoying and frustrating.

[RESOLVED] Uploaded images won't appear

I uploaded images to a miro board and they uploaded just fine, but a few days later they appeared like this and I can no longer see or download them. These are the only copies of the images I have as I delete them from my other devices to save on storage space. This is crucial to my work and I have no other way of gaining back these important photos. Please help!

Hi All, HNY…I am just evaluating Miro. I like to keep my mind maps simple either by: Collapsing nodes Hiding all nodes other than node with focus ie F6 in XMind Creating a submap with a backlink How this be achieved in Miro? Thanks in advanced, Ed

How does a Team Admin delete another members' board?

We’ve just started using Miro at the company I work for in the last 3 months or so, and cannot find a way for our Project Manager to delete others’ boards / projects in our Miro account / team. Based on the documentation I’ve found on Miro’s site, it seems that Team Admins are not really admins at all, as only board owners are able to delete or backup their boards. This makes sense from an ownership standpoint, however, it leaves our workspace cluttered with rogue / old boards. Our Team Admin shouldn’t have to remove the member from the Team entirely just to Administrate their boards, and manually reaching out to these team members occupies time in our work day because many team members are remote. Questions for the Miro Team: Can we get a more granular permission system so those with the Team Admin role can actually, you know, administrate the team / account? Or is this only possible if we have Company Admins through an Enterprise level account? Or will deleting & backing up board

Just today Links Pasted into Comments are not working.  The text is highlighted blue color and you can Click on the text but nothing happens.  Anyone experiencing this problem?

Copy paste from Google Table to Miro – transforming in sticky notes is not working. A couples of days ago it just worked fine. Can anybody help?

[RESOLVED] Boards keep freezing (iPad, iPhone - iOS)

I use Miro 10 hours/day for my role leading Design Thinking at Bose. Today, the majority of my boards are freezing when I zoom in to the point where I need to quit the app and rejoin. I use the Miro iPad app exclusively and have never had this issue before. It seems to be happening more often or sooner on some boards than others, but it’s a fairly consistent problem overall. Anyone else having this issue?

[RESOLVED] Miro doesn't work on Mac (M1) - grey screen

Miro app on mac isn’t working today. If I sign in my account on the website, it works. Is it a bug? How can I fix it? I’ve tried re-installation and clearing cache, but nothing works.

How to access Miro boards offline in Airplane Mode?

Hi!  I go off the grid every Monday and yesterday was my first day to evaluate which apps depend on the cloud.  Unfortunately, Miro doesn’t seem to deal with this scenario very gracefully:   How does Miro support offline use?   I’d like at the very least, be able to view my boards read-only and it would be a bonus to create new boards offline to be uploaded and seen by my team later.

[RESOLVED] Content (PDFs) begins to load, and then disappears

Hello - we open our board, zoom in to the content we’ve uploaded previously and those PDFs start to load, but then disappear completely. They even disappear on the map (no more blue rectangles). This started last night. Any tips? I emailed support.

Copy and paste is not working

Hi,Unfortunately for me copy and paste and trying to duplicate one of my boards isn’t working for me. I’ve tried on the Desktop app and Google Chrome - neither work. I have cleared cookies etc. still not working for me. Any suggestions?

[RESOLVED] Wrong order of the frames in "Best Quality" PDF export

Does anyone have a problem using “Best Quality” PDF export?  “Small file size” export works fine but “Best Quality” gets the frame order wrong.  Is it just me?

Text on Sticky notes not showing on Export

When I am trying to export a frame as a vector pdf, the text on the majority of the Sticky Notes on the board disappears and does not show on the pdf. Does anybody know why this is happening and how I can get around this? Thank you.

[RESOLVED] - Double click to edit the text doesn't work & the screen moves when I move the mouse without clicking in Firefox

Hi, When I click to edit text within a shape the cursor ‘locks’ and grabs the board when I move the mouse I’ve checked the navigation mode and all seems fine. This was not occurring yesterday when doing the same thing. I have also tested a secondary mouse and the same occurs Any thoughts?

Hi all, for the past week or so I’ve consistently had problems using Iconfinder in Miro. I’m basically getting this all the time. This has been invaluable when making sketches.  Anyone know what’s going on?

All tools have disappeared from the boards!

Hi everyone!I’ve been experiencing the same problem for approximately a week now: I can’t choose any other tools apart form the pointer on the boards! I used to swipe up/down to pick a pen or any other tool, but now it just won’t move.I use a browser version.I’m really confused because the only thing I can do now is paste pictures and move them. Very frustrating..Please, help!

Frames not picking up all content

Hi there I’ve noticed that sometimes when I add a frame around some content that not all that content is picked up by the frame. So if I want to move the frame to another part of the board it is only picking up some of the elements. Doesn’t seem to do this consistently so not sure what I am missing here? Can anyone help?

[RESOLVED] PDFs have gone missing from my boards

Hello wonderful Miro community, The PDFs I have uploaded to boards have all gone missing. It’s a bit of a problem for me as these are images that workshop participants used to make decisions. I can see that they are still there when the boards load, but are greyed out, then disappear. Has anyone else had this problem, and how did you resolve it? Thanks.

Select and Delete rows

I think, somehow I added three rows to our shared calendar.  No idea how, I was adding lines from/to dependent actions.I want to delete the rows, I think, but when I attempt to select the rows the entire calendar moves. I’m assuming I need to unlock something. I’ve found 3 options to unlock, and have selected each of them.  None has allowed me to select anything.  I’m also concerned that just selecting random unlocks is helping to stabilize our calendar, but have no idea what they do What do I need to do to remove the additional rows? What do the various Lock/Unlock options actually do?

I added the Adobe XD app in Miro.I have a file open in XD I  create a public Shared Link I  copy the link out of XD I paste into Miro app I click view artboards they appear When I choose all and click onInsert artboardsthe follow error appears The URL you are using is incorrect, Please check the URL for typos and try again.

[RESOLVED] Problem with scrolling inside box that contains templates

On my system recently, I have trouble finding a way to scroll and see more than just the top 12 templates presented. The scroll bar has gone missing, both on my app version and on the Chrome browser version. My arrow/page down keys don’t seem to help either. is this a new problem with Miro or is there a workaround? I’m on a Windows 7 machine and it seems like the scroll bar used to come up and work with this function. Thanks much - CHOPS
