Hello  i’m having issues with one of my users accessing the Miro app on a 9th Generation iPad running iPadOS 18.6.  We are getting an error that says App Initiation Failure: Can't Find Variable: Broadcast Channel after logging in to the App.    we’ve wiped / updated the iPad  reinstalled the most recent version of the AppPlease advise mark 

Coming from an AutoCAD background, layers are a GREAT addition.  The issue is that they dont work very well yet.  I have a few issues with using layers over the last 24 hours. I’ve had objects randomly (seemingly anyway) change layers.  I put them on the “network” layer, go do some other work then turn that layer off and the objects are back on the default layer.  I have triple checked that the things are set to the “network” layer and later they have moved.  they are not part of a group and I am sure that I am not accidentally picking them with another object. Second issue is that objects on layers dont seem to understand the frame that they are in.  I added things to the network layer and then go to move the frame but the objects on that layer do not move with the frame.  I have triple checked that they are within the frame, I have moved them out of the frame then back in.

I have now several times seen that i do a lot of changes to my Draw.io diagram. When hitting save and close i goes back to the version before, and when editing again all my work is gone.. no way of getting a version historic or something like that. Its just gone.!!!This is so annoying, that im considering to skip both Miro and Draw.io. If you cant even rely on that save means save!!!Another thing is, that in order for me to present the diagram on my miro board, I need to put the diagram in edit mode in Draw.io. If not is everything blurry when shown through Miro. I does not matter if i zoom in or out..

I’m on a free plan, was adding content to the board. I had 3 boards already and then i’ve tried to creare a duplicate on one of boards i was working on. And then all content from my board disappered. The worst thing is board history is also erased. Please help me to restore it. I’ve upgraded to paid plan, but there’s still no content nor in original board, nor in duplicate. Help.

Hello all, is there any way to update already placed custom templates as the original one is updated/edited?Our team is making some templates for activities and it’s iterative process. it’s great if there’s a way to sync the update in custom template (new frames, subcategories etc) with ongoing activities on different boards with those templates. 

I am making talktracks for my students so they don’t have to spend valuable time together online just listening to me presenting slides. So I have put up all my presentations with the new presentation tool available. All in all I have 7 slide decks with around 50 slides in total on my board for the course.  Recording the first talktrack worked like a dream. But the following are giving me a hard time. This is what happens:I press record on the talktrack. The interface immediately becomes limited and I can basically use the hand and drag myself around the board or click the start presentation button. This is where the annoying thing happens. It always start on 1 so I basically have to click through the previous presentation (and random frames that I might have added between the making of different slide decks) to reach the second. I have tried to add a button with a link on the first slide as a kind of navigation but the counter doesn’t change and it jumps directly back to nr 2. I can h

When going into focus mode on table, timeline, kanban the search function no longer works. If you press ctrl+F, you can’t search, but if you exit focus mode and going back to canvas, the ‘search box’ is actually opened from the time you pressed it during focus mode. Reason why i want to search in a table is to search for text within the specific table (long list of action items).  Is there anything I'm missing or should do differently?  

Hi, I’m a company admin and a person left the company. now we have to search for missing spaces and boards.Is it possible with some kind of adminkey to see all spaces and boards in our team?Thank you and cheers, Timo

Hello! When sharing the board via the link, I do not see him/her as board user in the button on picture below. So I can not “bring them to me”. However, they can edit the board. For some users I always see him/her, for some users always do not see him/her. Option “everyone with the link can edit” is turned on. Users connect without registration. Please help! What can I do? 

Hello! Is there a way we can make a setting that refers directly to objects on the board that enables users to create consistent sized objects every time? For example, if I’m designing a BPMN and I have multiple gateways, is there a way I can set all gateway objects to be the same size on this specific board? Or if I’m adding a task box, and I import that shape, can it just be the same size across this board? We noticed when we add objects from the side bar or copy and paste, we lose a lot of time to resizing those objects to try and keep them consistent. I appreciate it! Hello!We want to change the Admin Role in our Business Plan and we don’t have access to the email of the person who is currently listed as admin because this person has left the business.How can we give the admin role to another member without having access to the mailbox and account of the current admin?

I am new to Miro. Using this template to create a business organizational chart. There are these “Custom Fields” that you can choose to show on the card: However, you can’t actually edit them. Nothing happens if I click on “Add Location”. It does not seem to be an edible field.How can I actually add or change the location to show the correct location?

I try to copy a diagram via all sorts of ways.Then I want to paste it in the same board or a different board but I just get a text box with the texts but no shapes. I use simple shapes like boxes with text and edges (graph).I used to work before,

Hi there,I have a Logitech MX Master 3 mouse. If I use Miro in a web browser, the additional thumb-wheel works perfectly for horizontal scrolling, but on the Windows desktop app it doesn’t do anything. The normal mouse wheel at the top works for vertical scroll on both, and Mac dekstop app is fine.Anyone else seen this / know a fix?Thanks,Mike

HI about 2 months ago I logged into Miro, deleted and removed all my boards and sort to cancel my subscription which I believed I had done.  It was with some shock today 6/6/2025 that my business account show a payment going out to MIRO for 6 months more sucraition. Which I do not want tor need. What then followed was a most frustrating time trying to find where 1: I can get a refund, 2: Close this account for good, so it dose not come to life again.  But it seems for UK citizens against UK law  there is no means to do this. Hello, is it possible to get, or are there plans to expose the elements within draw.io diagrams to the miro api somehow? Currently I only get 1 object from a board with a draw.io diagram in it, and no real information about what is contained.

Hi Forum, there is this new feature where you can add emojis to sticky notes in miro. Whenever you hover a sticky note there's a hover effect. It is massively distracting to me and makes it extremely hard to focus when you have a board full of notes. Is there any way to turn it off?I want to give this also to the UX designers. Hello community,  I am a student and I started using Miro at my first internship, with a email account of that company. At the end of my internship (a year ago), I invided my private email to all of the Miro boards I had created during my internship. Now, a year later, I started my internship at a different company and now I would like to access my board that I have shared with my private email, but now those links don't seem to be working. Does anyone have an idea how I could still access those boards and would it help to get the paid version of Miro for my private email or would that not solve anything.  Thanks for the help!
