Hi, I use Miro sparingly, but when I need it is a lifesaver.

Currently on my account i got hit with the three maximum boards per free user message. Probably bcause I ve been invited to a team with a bigger amount of boards even though I only used one. But when I encountered the max boards message I left that team with multiple boards.
So all in all my account has one team and one board.

At the moment I need to set up a new team for my second job? But Miro keeps pushing me into the paid plans. That seems weird. Where is the board counter? How can it be that I reached the limit when I am member of only one board and left the previous one? In that case I should be able to set up a team and use one board there, no?

@Fleret To clarify, the 3-board limit is for the entire team and not per team member.

Because your Miro account profile is already a member of at least one team, you can only create new paid teams.

 

Where is the board counter?

Make sure your dashboard filter is set to show boards Owned by anyone - this will show all boards in the team:

 

You can always create a new Miro account using another email address, and that add your current emails address as a member of that team.
