There used to be one way of adding a line break into a table cell by opening a side panel. Inside shown text field a simple “return” did a line break. It was accessible via very tiny icon when hovering cell of second column (not easy to find:-(). Since some weeks this option is gone.

Therefore I see NO way to force a line break (like shown in screenshot).

Please bring it back or - even better - allow common “ALT+return”.

Miro recently removed the side-panel editor for table cells, which used to allow easy line breaks. Now pressing Enter just moves to the next cell. To add line breaks, try Shift+Enter or Alt+Enter (Option+Enter on Mac), or paste multi-line text from another app. If those don’t work, sticky notes or text boxes can be used as a workaround.

But as far I know, let me give some time to confirm that its either a Miro’s latest updates whether this was an intentional change or a bug?

@Angelina Harriet  there  is no change for Enter (> next cell) and Alt-Enter (> next cell).

But Strg+ Enter does show up the mentioned side panel , which allows line breaks (via simple Enter). 🙂

Obviously only the tiny icon to trigger opening the panel was removed.
