Hi everyone I am new to the community and have signed up for a team licence. We have a number of members who do not require full access and I wondered if anyone could offer advice on how to downgrade them to non user roles as I have looked at the "managing teams tips” but there is no mention of how to do this, any help would be great thanks in advance Iain

When I move one of the point in an arrow which is placed over a rectangle for example - the arrow attaches directly to that part of the rectangle by default. Is shortcut to not have this happen by default? Maybe something like how we hold shift on the keyboard to select multiple objects - is there a similar hotkey that we can hold on the keyboard that makes sure the arrow does not get attached to the object by default. Any advice is appreciated!

Hi everyone, I am facing the problem, that the ‘bring everyone to me’ function is not working properly.I was sharing a board with a colleague using a daypass. Although miro depicts them as an ‘editor’ they are unable to click on the ‘bring everyone to me’ button, it seems to be deactivated.Any ideas? Thanks!

Dear there,I am new to Miro, and was studying the different plans, thought maybe Team plan fits my need. but was struggling to understand the concept of No. of Team members, e.g. 10 members, what does this 10 mean?does it mean, Miro will create 10  accounts for me? and then i share with my global team memebers? or does it mean in my Miro board, only 10 guests are allowed to join the discussion? and edit my boards? many thanks for your support. yoursTony

When I’ve locked the object,What is the default setting? can anyone unlock the object and should I be clicking on the shield so that only I can unlock it?The tooltip is slightly confusing - at this state it mean that anyone can unlock now or should I click on that icon to allow anyone to unlock. 

I am migrating mural users to Miro and need to bring their work into Miro. I do not see an option to do this. Is there a way to do this migration?

Hi all Rookie question here. I have linked some of my shapes in my process maps out to external websites.When I link them to other shapes within the Miro board, they appear as arrows and link correctly. But for some reason, I am unable to click them and the shape is selected instead. Any suggestions on this? In typing this, it seems to be solved when I move the object to the front or the table it’s on to the back. If that’s the issue, is there a way to easily move a bunch of tables to the back, or select all boxes so they can be moved to the front?

Is it possible to see the size of a Miro board in terms of 500MB, 1GB etc etc?

Tried to find my answers in the doucumentation for text widgets, but without much success. This is what I’m looking at:I can’t figure out which width attribute corresponds to what exactly since they are both different in value. I have build an app in Miro by following the guide Build Your App (miro.com) . I have created a Html file (using a custom web api that is hosted in Azure) that adds 2 Icons in the bottom bar of the board and added the linkto the App URL field.The app works fine for the board owner and users with Edit access to the board, i.e. they are able to see the icons and redirect to another page on click. But, the issue occurs in the users with viewer and commenter - they are not able to see the Icons and I can see that in the sources (in developer tools ), the html file is not loading.Could you please confirm if this is the default behavior of Miro and if there is any workaround for this.

Hello! I am able to provide my auth bearer token to a POST request containing the json to create a widget on my board via PostMan or the live test in the API Documentation.  However, running a local server / react app to call the fetch api using the same url and http headers/credentials results in CORS error. How am I to test the rest api for my app using the fetch api and running on localhost:XXXX?

Is there actually any limit in Miro?Like how many video's can be addedHow many concurrent folks editing etc...

The explanation for the new tables feature notes that “every cell has a limit of 6,000 symbols” including space and html code.How are objects described (or counted as “symbols”) when you place them in cells, e.g.• sticky notes - does the sticky notes count as a number of symbols?• jpegs - does the size of the jpeg count towards number of symbols - 150k vs 2.6Mb?How do calculate whether you are close to or at your 6,000 symbol limit, especially when you might want to have several objects plus text in a cell?

Tried to use some Miro CSS classes today and noticed that the miro-select class spawns 2 icons, while miro-select--small only one. Could this be fixed?  

Could not login to MIRO using SSO in MAC app. After providing the email and SSO credentials the app directs to an empty page with no other options other than a ‘Back Button’.Same credentials works fine on browser.  

If I make boards, can I give a copy of those boards to other teachers who have a Miro account?

Hello everyone,Before I reach out to the tech support team as per instructions on their How to Contact Tech Support page, I thought I ask here to see if any of you are experiencing this or know how to resolve it. Yesterday, I added some cards on my iOS app.This morning, I logged into my account on my MacOS app and the cards are not there. I also checked using my browsers and verified the cards are not there.I thought maybe there’s a way to force sync between apps but I do not see an obvious solution. Am I missing something? 

I have a situation where I need to grant and revoke access for guest editors. Today I have given 10 guest editors access to my boards. After a week I need to give another 10 and need to revoke access from the previous ones. What is the best possible way of doing it? I believe the board URL remains the same so how can I control that the earlier editors does not have edit access anymore.

Has anyone built an embedded data visualization whiteboard framework on Miro? Specifically looking to use Miro as a data product (dashboards) development environment. By embedding Tableau or other designs, comments and feedback can be tracked. Examples with Jira integration are welcome for data engineering/analytics team collaboration.  Thank you. 

Hello.Me and members of my teams faced with problem. When I zoom out of my drawings and after zoom in back all my drawings disappear. 

Hello community,I’m a heavy miro users and love it. It’s perfect for collaboration and the templates are great.However, I miss proper diagrams for a more polished and final presentations of the ideas. Something like Microsoft SmartArt or Infographics diagrams.Don’t get me wrong. I build my own with miro to solve this problem. See below, aren’t them AWESOME? However, creating these diagrams is time consuming and all in all I want be focused on the discussions and collaboration with my teammates rather than creating these diagrams. I was thinking about creating an app where users could select from existing templates grouped from several categories and add these smartart diagrams into the board. But before moving forward, I’d like to learn more from the community whether this is a pain point for you as well. Couple questions:Do you have the same painpoint? Would you pay for using this app (like, $49 per year to have unlimited access to hundreds diagrams, customization of color/fonts/etc)?

I would like to show duration for a process using a number/duration line, but the best I can get is:And aligning and straightening the lines are next to impossible. I can use other terminators of the line, but they are not as universally understood/clear as line terminators.
