Is there a way to run a collaborative session using Activities with participants that can only use creation tools that I have specifically allowed? I made some tests, inviting guests that can only view or comment, and they don’t have access to creation tools from Activities. And this makes sense. But if I invite guests that can edit, they can obviously use any kind of tool, not only those allowed for Activities.I would like — if possibile — to take advantage of Activities to run a collaborative session, but with people (guests, visitors?) that can't mess things up while being able to use Activities creation tools 😁It’s obviously me, and I’m probably missing something 😕I’m currently on a Consultant plan because I need to better understand if I need a Business or a Started plan. Could be the Consultant plan the reason why I can’t do what I need in this case?Thanks!

Hello,I was recently approved for a free educational Miro license. However, I’m unable to sign in.When I try to sign in, it prompts me with “Your organization uses Single Sign On (SSO) with Miro. Please sign in using your SSO credentials.” If I try to do that, I get: “Error -Your email is not associated with the SSO Account. Request access from your Company Admin.” If I click “Sign In without SSO” I am nevertheless redirected to the same login page for SSO -- it’s not possible for me to sign in using my work email without being redirected to the SSO login page.How can I use my free educational Miro license if I can’t even login? I had to create a whole new account just to post this because in order to post to the forum, you have to be logged into your Miro account. I am totally stuck.

Hello!I created a new personal board on my free plan.And now there is no button “delete” like on the other boards.How can I delete it? 

I set up the Jira Cards as Miro & Jira Admin and it generally works. i.e. one can choose jira issues to add them as jira cards on a board etc. however if someone tries to convert a sticky note to a jira issue, the reporter and assignee fields cannot be filled. you can start typing but only 0 of 0 matches are shown. I checked the Jira FAQ and set the permissions on the reporter field in jira accordingly. also the same user can modify the fields when this user accesses or creates an issue on jira directly. the bizarre thing is, that someone who has the Jira Org Admin role can modify the assignee & reporter fields on Miro in Jira cards. so it nevertheless seems to have something to do with permissions that are not the same if a user accesses an issue within jira or via jira cards from miro…who knows where to look in Jira or Miro to set the proper settings / permissions?I already tried to uninstall and re-install / connect jira cards which didn’t help.

Hi, the mind map I created is scrambled. Each title went somewhere else. Some of them were even far away from the main title. When I tried to move it again, it was deleted. This problem happened to me once. But it happened at the worst possible time. Has this happened to you? What should I do to make sure it doesn't happen again?

Both online browser based and downloaded app does not display bold text while on another PC it works perfectly on the same board. Anything that I’m missing from settings that enables Bold Text or why does it work on one computer and not the other Works on Win 10 and new PC is Win 11, could that be the cause and how to troubleshoot?

Hello! There aren’t some tools on my boards:  1) presentation mode, 2) screen sharing, 3) activity (free plan; browser version; i am the owner of the boards). What could be the reason? I’ve checked 1, 2, 3, 5: Check the Miro Status Page for reports of potential performance degradation Check if the issue is reproduced in incognito (private) mode and a different browser Disable the browser extensions. Sometimes they clash with Miro processes (e.g. Grammarly with the text widgets).  If you work in the Desktop app, reset the app data If you experience performance issues on a specific board, try duplicating it and see if the issue persists on the copied board                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Thanks in advance!   

Hello!  How do I add the crop function to the menu that appears when I right click on an image?  Right now all I get are the download arrow and the lock image.

I have shapes with copy in them, and the copy is too long to fit in the shape. How can I have it “overflow” the shape (ie, not be restricted to the shape and make sure its all visible? I dont want to have the shapes grow in proportion to the copy, Id rather have the copy jump outside the shape boundaries. thanks

Hello, I am unable to export frames on my board but I could export from other group boards, but it’s not same with my groupmates, they are able to export from our board, so I have tried exporting from another desktop, web browser as well as through application, still I am not able to export. It says “Sorry, something went wrong while generating the image”.  

Is it possible to download author data from a post it note in to Excel? I am looking to track owners of the data being provided during a workshop.

Help please, I board working just on macbook. When I want to open it in browser or on my android tab board crashing, how fix it?

Firstly, getting to any form of help on a paid product like this has been hell. I click on ? symbols only to be taken on a wildgoose chase. I then have to register for the ‘community’. Why? I pay for your service, all I want is help.The registration process has 8 fields that I don’t care for when I want help, but if you omit ONE, your entire page gets reset. Not helpful. Remember - I want help because the product isn’t working (and I am sure all this data is part of my PAID for subscription, so this third party now has more data I don’t think it needs. My problem? I’d like to reduce the font size on some arrows - in fact, I’d like any of the arrow formatting functionality to work. It doesn’t. I might get lucky on the third or fourth time of ‘clicking’ on the down arrow for font size. Or I might not get lucky at all. Highly frustrating, all I need to do is update 4 arrow text fields, and here I am ranting and the electrons again. My good god, I pay for this. I recently ran a marathon -

How to upload video from desktop to Miro board in 2023?

The Miro board history doesn’t seem to show timer start/stop events.  Is there any way to know who changed the timer value?  I just had a large meeting where someone thought it was funny to keep changing the timer value.

In a 80 people meeting, sometimes people like to change the countdown timer to a different value as a prank.  Can I prevent that by restricting access to the timer?

My company’s malware software detect and alerts about amplifyapp.com, marks it as suspicious activity, and blocks whatever data is being collected. It would be nice to use this awesome tool without that.

I have a mastermind with 13 members, I would like to create each of them a board that they can edit, but only the two admins and the member have access too.  I realize that in order for them to have the ability to edit that I will need to add them to my team.  Seems like a better way to do this is through projects, however how do you access “projects” via the mobile app (IOS) or is that not available? Perhaps there is a better way to set this up?  Open to suggestions?
