Hi, we would like to use a Miro board for an online, on-demand, training module we are preparing. We would like to give training participants access to the board, to have a go at different exercises, explained using the recorded Talk Track feature. However, ideally we would like the edits which each training participant does (in response to the training activities) to disappear after they have finished, providing a fresh template for the next training participant. Does anybody have experience of doing something similar? Grateful for your advice!

Hi! There is a black menu box that appears to be offering training support for a new user. It seems i have to click on each mini ‘tutorial’ before the box goes away. I am on a PC. The same box is not appearing when I view the board from my profile on a Mac.Worse, It is not letting me click on some of the various ‘tutorials’ to complete the training and make the box go away- It is obstructing my view of the board.  Please can someone assist with this, Thank you!

All board on app not loading but work in browser.

I’m relatively new to Miro. I like  Present mode that allows me to cycle through frames as “slides”. In a Zoom meeting, I select Share Screen, and pick the Miro browser window. I enter “Present” mode in Miro… Participants are still seeing the full board, not the slide I’m presenting.How can I get the Miro presentation visible to Zoom participants via Share Screen?

Good afternoon,I am trying to call the REST API manually for testing purposes, but I noticed that I get unpredictable results. I currently have 3 boards. Board TEST 3 was just created moments ago.However, the API returns that there are only 2 boards available. I have run this directly on the documentation sandbox to make sure the problem wasn’t with my calls. I still get consistent results and the board TEST 3 is not present in the JSON response.All three boards have read/write permission with the Developer team that I created for this testing purpose, so they are accessible (or they should be). At some point and after trying the GET request several times, without changing anything with the boards (I think I’ll be waiting for something like a couple minutes), the third board will appear.Deleting a board seems to have an instantaneous change within the database, therefore if I call the API after deleting a board, it will disappear at the following API call. I noted yesterday that the option to select an area of a board as the board thumbnail has disappeared in the Edge browser.I reported this to the support team and will update this post as I hear more. While it is possible the support team will reply that this was never an option in Edge, I am fairly certain that I have does this in Edge before.Edge version while testing: 121.0.2277.128 (Official build) (64-bit). I tested as both a board owner and team member.

Since user can screen capture a board, save it, and upload it, why not reduce the steps and let users just grab a region from Change Thumbnail dialog?At a minimum it would be better to have generic images for types of illustrations - concept map, journey map, etc as the choice instead of the current illustrations which are confusing juxtapositions to the real content. 

Do you know if I can share a mind map and allow users to expand/collapse and basically interact branches without them being able to edit the content? I want to embed it in html. 

Hi, I have created a board few weeks ago and then invited my friends via e-mail invitation to the whole workspace. After few weeks we have lost access to this specific board in the workspace. I cannot see it in my boards and my friends also cannot access it. We even tried going to the link attached to the invitation sent just after creating the board but Miro says that you can’t get access to this board. How could this board dissappear? What could have happened?

HiI am trying to attach metadata to a shape widget created from javascript through the API.Widget is created correctly when there is no metadata, but creation fails as soon as metadata is part of the widget definition. When Miro releases updates, I get these annoying “what’s new” popups all over the screen.  I don’t want to see them - they get in the way of me actually using the board to get work done.How do I permanently disable these popups?  I don’t see any options in preferences, anywere.

I have a magic mouse, using Miro in Chrome browser on a Macbook. I find that the board zooms in and out and moves from side to side in a very distracting way. I think it’s the mouse, but wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue and can recommend troubleshooting steps or has a fix.  Thanks!

When I drag my cursor over a card and highlighted part, there is no “group objects ” button. And using CTRL+G does nothing. it happens only with cards, I can group other objects

I opened Miro link and added to team a board which should be private and not seen to others. I cant remove it because I am view-only and I do not see delete button. I need to do it immidiately.  

Hi there.It’s been a full day that one board of mine is stuck on an endless loading (see image below).Other boards works fine, except that one. Anyone knows how to fix this?I already checked internet connection, reset application data, uninstall and reinstall the app. But still the problem exists. I have an educational plan so I can’t create a support ticket. Hope to find some answers here.I run Miro from Desktop App on an Intel powered MacBook Pro.

Unlike branded shapes (“Shapes”), stickers are already easy to highlight when creating boards: the system clearly assigns them to the independent “Sticker” category, which allows them not to merge with other Shapes, and, thus, simplifies their selection and movement , as well as grouping and locking elements that are not them.

everyone! I'm new to Bubble and Okta and building a page using Bubble. I've already implemented login workflow compatible with okta. Now I'm going to introduce multi-factor authentication provided from okta for password reset workflow. If I press the 'reset' button, a request that enroll email MFA function in okta should be delivered(I might be wrong. But this is what I have learned from research). In this case, where does the request reach and how is it structured?I researched okta documents and other forums, but the answers were different and didn't worked for me. I'd appreciate it if you help me. Regards. 

Can’t export anything all of a sudden on webwhiteboard.com.As an un-logged in guest, clicking the export button brings up the normal pop-up asking for a sign-up, and at the bottom are two links to export the board as an image or PDF. Clicking either of them does nothing. The window closes and that’s it. Tested on two different desktop machines with 3 different browsers (Firefox, Edge & Chrome).Created a free account, and when logged-in the options in the export menu change to either save as a template or attach to JIRA, and that’s it.Just looking for a way to save a board as a single file. Hopefully this isn’t an intended permanent change.

Looking for a little help and was unable to find an answer via search.  I added a swim lane diagram to a board and developed it quite a bit.  Another user moved an object and the auto-adjust thing caused the height of one of the swimlanes to expand quite a bit.  I’m looking to adjust it back to its previous height, but have had no luck.  Despite there being quite of bit of empty space (other than connecting lines), I cannot reduce the height of the swim lane.  I am able to select the lane, see the mouse cursor change to the arrows for adjustment, and could drag to make it larger, but something is blocking me from making it  any smaller.  Any advice?

I can no longer find the setting where you specify the subregion of a board from which to create a thumbnail. All I have access to is a bunch of (IMO) ugly icons. Has this feature moved to some other screen?

Hi - My boss gets every comment notification (number on comment bubble) even if he’s not @ notified. Using the Miro help tools/instructions we have removed comment and email notifications except the @ notifications and he still sees every comment. I need them because I’m Product Manager but he’s finding it too overwhelming. Does anyone know how to control comment update notifications? Thanks!

Halfway through building a Service Blueprint, the 3 dots disappeared. Is there a way to bring them back? I can’t rearrange my table now…..

I would like new shapes (based on board) be created with a dynamic connection (if that’s what this is called).When you connect an arrow from one shape to another, if you drag and drop to a node, it will be a static connection, moving the shapes won’t change where the arrow/line connects.If you drag and drop in the middle of the shape the connection will be dynamic and will adapt to where the boxes are located.Clicking the parent node will create a shape that is then statically connected to the parent. I would like an option to change this behaviour to make it create with a dynamic connection - is this possible?
