Hi, We’re an Enterprise customer. I’ve been asked some questions around data security and privacy recently and so I decided to take a look around at the features which Miro offer. I came across the help section around Enterprise Guard in the help pages and I was wondering if this was an additional license or something? I don’t see the roles or some of the settings. It’s not clear in the help who gets this feature.

Hey there. I recently made a presentation (a business proposal) in Miro using the frames mode. I wanted to share the prooposal with my client such that she will be able to view it as a presentation and not the work area of the whiteboard. But I tried searchign for such an option and realised there isn’t any so had to export the frames as a pdf and share it with her. Am I missing something, is there some feature that exists that I don’t know about? 

New Miro user here….so, hopefully not a dumb question.As I try to create a new Azure ticket through Azure cards, the assignee field is not finding names to return for selection, no matter how I type in the name. I have tried first name, last name;  email address; even just one letter, but I continue to get “No Users Matched”. The Azure ticket will create, but I cannot get the assignee to fill in from the Miro board creation.  Help, please

Hi all,I am new to this community, so please excuse any mistakes.I have been using the Rest API for 2 months now to programmatically create board contents. Everything worked as documented and I did not have more than the usual problems.Today, I am observing a very strange behavior: When creating a shape, the fillOpacity values are sometimes ignored and set to 0.0. However, there is no pattern, i.e. if I create the board contents several times, the elements having the wrong fillOpacity are not identical, but vary a lot.I did not change anything in my code regarding fillOpacity, so I suspect that something has changed on the API side.Any help is highly appreciated!Thanks, and best regards,Rene 

Hi,When receiving the notification of someone wanting to join your team, it does not include their email address. It just states:...Wants To Join Your TeamBecause I have a larger team where the administration is distributed, I do not personally manage all access requests. However, when someone joins my team on Miro I want to see at a glance if they request it with their company email address (also if external team member from another company), so I know where they come from for security reasons. I cannot go into the access list every time this notification comes up. If the email address could be added to the email notification, that would be very helpful.Thanks,Floris (P.s. the categories seem to be very limited on this form)

When I click on a shape or frame, I want to write notes about that shape and frame. I would also like to see these notes. Is this possible?

Greetings colleagues,In the past, I developed a small private application with the web sdk v1. It was very basic, I added the application in the context menu and when selecting a series of widgets (sticky notes, app cards, etc..) my application appeared in the context menu and in its inner workings what it did was to go through the selected widgets, search the tags inside them and add those that matched a specific numerical format.I want to migrate it to version 2 of the new sdk and the truth is, it is being quite difficult.I have read the documentation and I think that the closest thing to my needs is to make a CustomAction.I have been able to add my customAction to the context menu and show an information message when I click on it. I need to be able to read somehow the content of the tags, their text, but I can't find any way to do it. Hallo,I am working on a Tree diagram/mind map and I would like to be able to select the items that belong to a path and collapse all the rest. So far I see that collapsing per level is possible but I am looking for something else: to be able to choose a branch/item per level that belong to a path that I define and collapse all the rest. Is this possible in Miro? See example here: JavaScript Organizational Chart Path Highlighting and Selection | JSCharting Kind regards,R

Greetings all. I’m new to Miro and have searched around but cannot find any way of doing this.  Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.For process mapping, I want to be able to automatically allocate a unique reference number / ID number to shapes and connection lines on a board.  Primarily, I am thinking about flowchart diagrams and creating process flows with each shape / connection line being allocated a unique reference number.  This would allow non-Miro to Miro referencing in documentation with clearly identified target elements linking the non-Miro document content to the shapes and connections on the Miro board.For (very simple) example, let’s say I have a process flow for user registration.  The first three shapes would represent 1) User inputs data into website reg form: 2) System captures data and stores in database: 3) System validates data…..   Now, if I want to create a (non-Miro) reference document which details the content of the reg form, where the data e

So there is almost no load on PC when I work with miro. But miro becomes completely unresponsive when working with PDF with a lot of elements. Obviously this is optimization issue. I tried to export frame as PNG but 5894x4096 is not enough for me to see some elements. After I zoom to PDF once - whole board is unresponsive even if I zoom out. Only moving focus away from pdf helps.Same PDFs work well in acrobat reader or browser. So this problem was not resolved? It's a serious issue and at least optimization guide for this topic has to be released.My suggestion for easy fix will be to allow option to convert PDF to PNG internally in high-res above 8192x4096 limitatation. Actually even 819

The goal is to optimize the board and create inputs/objects outside of Miro (Adobe Creative Cloud). I have been using Miro for 2 years and have never run into these issues when building with Miro objects. Lately it feels as the boards run more slowly, which makes it difficult to do more creative and interesting board builds. Attempts:*All of these implementations are optimized, no file above 5MB. I also have serious hardware so its not a hardware issue*I have created 20 SVG Vector Images to move around the Board = BOARD SLOW(Unusable) A Vector PDF to scale and move around the board, 3 PDFs to connect to each other = BOARD SLOW PNG images are ok but there is a cap on sizing. So once scaled they possibly loose quality = BOARD DECENT SPEED JPG images are ok but there is a cap on sizing. Today, when I try to modify a diagram, I noticed that I can not move an image or a basic shape in other custom shapes, like AWS shapes. This was possible before. An example will be add an image inside an AWS VPC shape. When I try it will not add it or if it was on the page will move it back to the original position. 

I downloaded ordinary app and by mistake switched it to interactive mode by “--public-device” command from this topic https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/4406230245010-Send-to-display.Now app by default launchs with interactive mode, it is impossible to switch it to ordinary, even reinstalling different versions didn’t help to solve this problemDoes somebody have an idea, what can i do in this situation?

Hi, Can I create folders within project to manage the boards?

I have what appears to be an orphaned line/connector. Left or right clicks do not select it, nor does trying to lasso it.  This video shows the situation: (link) (https://i-leadonline.com/elearning/FoundationsOfAgile/downloads/Miro object can't be deleted.mp4) I’m the board owner. When I unlock anything near it, it still doesn’t get selected. Any ideas of things to try? Thanks!

I’ve removed one of my team members and when I did it I saw a message “member’s boards will be reassigned to my_own_mail@gmail.com”. As a result my board with all my work on it was deleted without reassigning… How can I repair this board?

The comment icon is placed on the part of the note where you right-clicked. Most of the time, that means it obscures the note text. You then have open the comment and move the line endpoint from the comments box to move the comment icon out of the way by trial and error. It would be better to place the icon in a corner of the note by default.

I recently encountered this issue, and was curious if anyone can provide insight.When placing a shape, then double-clicking the shape to enter text within the shape, the text entry cursor initially appears outside of the shape. If I continue entering text and click outside of the shape to complete my entry, the text appears inside of the shape. If I double-click again to edit the text, the entry field appears outside of the shape once again. However, if I double-click to edit, then click and drag the shape while in “text edit mode” the text with the blinking cursor appears within the shape and I can proceed to edit text within the shape, as I would typically expect.Edit: At certain zoom levels and text size combinations, the text is not visible at all. It was only until I zoomed in while capturing these photos that I noticed the text was displaced outside of the shape.Text Displaced Outside of ShapeText Reappears in Proper Location

Hi all, I’m finding an issue when I have a diagram inside the cell of a table - shapes appear to have a minimum size. I only saw this occur a couple of days ago when I added an existing diagram into a table - and then a load of labels (drawn in shapes) were automatically resized - and so wrecked the diagram. Here’s a screengrab example:Square ‘A’ is inside a table. I can’t resize it to any smaller than it currently is.Square ‘B’ is outside the table. I can resize this to whatever size I want.  Is this a bug? If so, any advice on a work-around would be gratefully received, Cheers, Mike
