Hi there, We are currently using the free version of Miro, and use it a lot for process mapping.  Unfortunately, at the moment, once complete, we find it difficult to share our work as people don’t have access to Miro, and the download options available on the free version don’t provide good enough quality.  The downloads also end up not fitting well onto A3, and if they do, they are illegible.  If we were to upgrade, will we have better access to good quality downloads with various sizing options?  

I’m unable to return to a default view. Any ideas on how to reset so my navigation returns to standard size. None of my other browser based apps are affected. I’ve included the browser tabs for size comparison. I want the Miro display to replicate the font size in the browser tabs. Thanks!   

Hello everyone, We have decided not to renew our 4 seat subscription because of the lack of dark mode. ($400 per year) We are not coming back until there's a properly implemented dark mode. Cheers!

The windows desktop app is not showing an option for logging in to my account. I only see the prompt to “Send to this display”. I can log in online, but there is no way to log into the app. Usually I see a login button on the top right of the screen. 

Hi there having issues and getting an error when copying and pasting a google spreadsheeht. "Sorry, it seems that you don't have rights to upload this file or the file was deleted. Please check access right and try again". I have allowed google docs and miro integration. I've found a page on miro with possible issues and how to resolve it and it's asking me to login to google admin account. I can't use my own gmaiil account for it so I'm not sure how to go about it, can you help?  

I have a miro account set up through my gmail, but I also set up an eduction account through my .edu email.However, everytime I login with the .edu, the account that shows up under profile on my Miro page is my gmail.  I don’t know why this is happening nor how to separate them. In this, I’m not getting access to the features that I should under my .edu account. 

Hi, I’ve been a Miro user for years. I’ve recently moved workplace and am in the process of setting up a non-profit account with my new charity email address. I want to move my boards across from my old account, but the old account has lapsed to a free account and the option to download board backups has gone.Is there any other way to move boards across? I’m asking here as I can’t see anywhere else to ask!Thanks in advance 😊

I need to grant a client access to a specific board in Miro, but I don’t want to add him to our group of users in Miro. How can I do this?

I have connect Miro to a team channel, but when i clicked the New board, it goes into a never ending  loading status, waited 30 mins and nothing happens.tried logout miro, and log out teams. doesn’t work 

Sticky notes are great and we love them! However, shouldn't virtual sticky notes follow the space constraints that physical ones have? One of the best things about physical sticky notes is that the space/size limitation (how many words can you write on a physical sticky note using a Sharpie pen? Not many, right?) this force us to keep ideas concise and summarize the key points of a message.With the implementation of sticky notes in digital tools, the space constraint was removed and there is no limit on the amount of text you can enter. How about introducing a character limit in the notes feature? Like a on/off toggle. By embracing constraints, we encourage better summarization and amplify the essence of this great design tool!

 I’d like to be able to move the text dialogue box out of the way because it pops up and covers other text I’m trying to see.

With large boards it’s becoming harder to navigate on it. You can create a map of objects and link them to different frames in the board, but how to make it always visible? So it does not scroll with the board? The idea is an easy access to the board sections, so making it to scroll does not help

I love that you can embed web content within an iframe on a Miro board, but I have a few problems. I am unsure if this is a limitation of Miro or if I am missing something.I started by trying to embed a widget from my CodePen sandbox, and it generally works. However, the aspect ratio locks at 16:9. I have made several attempts with different iterations of the <iframe> tag. I have even tried pasting the naked URL into Miro’s embed code field.I also sampled numerous random URLs of simple web pages to see what would happen, and each attempt resulted in a generic 16:9 box with a default thumbnail image. I cannot change the aspect ratio of that embedded iframe. Every single one of them locks at 16:9.Sometimes, the thumbnail image represents the content from the embedded link. Hi, I have used Miro for a long time, had a massive board, always opened it from bookmarks with no issue.Now i opened it, but unexpectedly it sent me to the "welcome, tell us about yourself, who are you?" pages instead of my board. I filled these in, but still could not get access to my board. I then checked my account, found there 2 more boards (+ mine, so 3 altogether) which I have never seen/used. Deleted one of them, but somehow were deleted two, including my board. One empty board remains.I tried to follow the 'how to restore' guide just in case, but it fails for me, because every time I try to open the link to my board, but I dont get the “Board was deleted, restore?” page, I only get to the "welcome, tell us about yourself, who are you?" pages.I am scared I lost my whole board. What can I do?

Hi! I am new to this and using it as a way to map out our customer service wiki website. I am using the mind map basic template and wanting to figure out the best way to include a body of text or bullet points hidden in a node. So far all I can figure out is commenting on it to be the closest to what I want. I would be fine to add a shape or text bubble next to it but I can’t seem to pair that so that it moves with the node if the map changes. I’m looking for something like being able to add a description to a node is maybe how I would phrase it.Is something like this possible in the free version? Thanks! Rosemary

Hello. Help please. Today there was some kind of malfunction in the system and my board self-deleted. Neither I nor other people deleted it, it happened without intervention. I watched the video tutorial, but I don't have a restore button. Is there any way to restore it?  

Hi,The Miro board I am using with my colleagues is not working for everyone. We've tried opening it with different browsers and the app, we've tried duplicating it and restoring it, but nothing seems to work. Every time we try to open it, it takes a long time to load and then everything disappears. Do you have any suggestions?Thanks, Chiara

Is there any way to import boards from Mural into Miro? Interested in switching/ migrating from Mural to Miro, but have been using Mural for a while and would obviously like to keep that work. Has anyone made the switch? Any other advice?

I am creating a large background that is locked. Students will work with sticky notes on top of the background materials. Since it is all locked, when learners click on it, intentionally or not, the bounding boxes / grey outlines, appear around every locked element. When these bounding boxes appear around text, usually the outline is right at the edge of the words, making it hard to read. Image 1is how it usually appears: I am referring to this as “tight” bounding box.tight bounding box, makes it less readableThen suddenly I noticed that some of my text boxes had a nice margin around the text. Like this:Nice margins! More readableI am able to ‘copy style” for this text box and apply it (paste style) to another text box and get the same nice margins.  my question is: How did these margins appear? I have no idea how I made this happen. I see no menu item that might have been responsible. Does anyone know???

Hi there,can someone help? I somehow have set one specific board to start up, as soon as I get onto my Miro account. I want to change this, but I can not find this setting anymore 😕.Simon
