    Enterprise/Personal IncentiveOpen

    We have Miro Enterprise, with many users. I love using Miro at work, it’s a fantastic tool. But I don’t like using Miro at home, because the free version pales in comparison. I upgraded to the the Starter tier, but this lacks my favourite feature (diagram shapes/shape management) and I don’t particularly fancy paying for Business when my actual job already pays for Enterprise.For security reasons, I am not allowed to use my Miro Enterprise account at home for personal projects.Please could you consider providing Enterprise users with a free (or discounted) business account for personal use. Microsoft does this with their 365 suite. The theory is that if customers are empowered to use the tool everywhere, they are more likely to champion its use at work, where the real revenue can be found.

    Freeform, filled shapesOpen

    It would be really useful to be able to draw freeform shapes that have a colour fill. We are architects and using Miro to run design workshops remotely. It’s really useful to be able to colour parts of a drawing in to illustrate ideas, but only rarely does what we want to colour relate to the predefined filled shapes available.  Could work with the existing freeform line tool, adding the ability to connect the two ends to make a closed shape, or could be a standalone drawing tool.

    "Only draw with stylus" still allows a finger to draw when pen toolbar is open?Open

    I think this is an oversight - and if it was changed it would allow anyone without any training to simply interact with Miro boards without any confusion.I regularly show Miro boards to people who only need to pan/zoom around the board, and make notes with a pen, using a MS Surface Hub or Ipad.If they click the pen tool with the stylus to change the colour or switch to an eraser, then try to pan around with their finger and they end up drawing a line they didn’t mean to.Also I support either having the pen toolbar always visible or not going away once you’ve opened it.

    Create a button which will take you back through  your history of clicked links. Useful, for example, if you need to go back on a flow chart which has multiple paths. You can place the button at each node/section, so the user has the option of retracing their steps.

    Allow billing group assignment for invited usersOpen

    Currently when inviting a new user to Miro it is not possible to assign a billing group until the user logs in for the first time (user changes from tab “Invitations” to “Active users”).Because no billing group can be assigned on invitation admins need to regularly revisit all invited users which have become active to set the correct billing group.This could be solved by allowing the assignment of a billing group while users are in the “Invited” state.

    When saving a board to Google Drive, allow the user to select the desired folder locationOpen

    Miro boards are one of many assets that my company uses. We use Google Drive for storage, so I’ve started using the “Save to Google Drive” feature to keep project assets together and make them easier to find.However, the feature always dumps the saved board link directly into “My Drive”, rather than letting me select a folder. I then need to take extra steps to open Google Drive, find the saved link, and manually move it to the correct location. This is irritating and an unnecessary waste of time.Please allow the user to select the preferred folder location during the save process, to eliminate the extra steps and avoid a pile-up of Miro links in the main “My Drive” folder.

    Show Frame Number in Right-Click Info Pop-UpOpen

    Hi,It would be helpful if the frame number appeared in the right-click info pop-up.     Draw on shared screenOpen

    Zoom allows participants in a video call to draw on top of a shared screen view...regardless of who shared the screen.  It would be nice if this feature, or something equivalent, could be added to the new Video Calls.Thanks!

    A "Path Tool" for creating curved, multi-point connectionsOpen

    Need for a flexible Path Tool for creating advanced, non-linear connections and diagrams.The Problem: Currently, for creating diagrams in Miro, we are mostly limited to the standard connection lines (which are great for connecting objects) and the free-hand Pen tool. However, there is no tool to easily create precise, multi-point, and smooth curved paths. This is especially needed when mapping complex processes, user journeys, or system flows that don't follow a simple straight or right-angled line. The current Pen tool lacks the precision and editability of a true path or vector tool.Proposed Solution: A "Smart Path" Tool I propose the addition of a new "Smart Path" tool, inspired by similar tools in applications like TradingView or Adobe Illustrator. This tool would allow users to: Click to Create Anchors: Click anywhere on the board to create anchor points for the path. Generate Smooth Curves: The tool would automatically generate a smooth Bézier curve between the points. Full Editability: After creation, users should be able to move each anchor point and also adjust the handles of the curve to precisely control its shape. Customization: The path should be fully customizable, including color, thickness, various styles (dashed, dotted), and the ability to add arrowheads at the start or end. Why is this feature useful for Miro? This tool would be a game-changer for many use cases: Advanced Flowcharts: Creating more organic and easy-to-follow process maps. User Journey Mapping: Visually representing complex, non-linear user experiences. System Architecture Diagrams: Showing data flows and interactions more clearly. Visual Storytelling: Guiding an audience's focus along a specific path on a busy board during a presentation. Creative Mind Maps: Breaking free from the rigid connectors for more fluid and visually appealing mind maps. This feature would significantly enhance Miro's capabilities as a top-tier diagramming and visual collaboration platform.

    Email reminders triggered from MIROOpen

    What I am basically looking for is the same functionality as MS Teams does when you add someone to an action.Teams trigger reminders on a certain frequency (I believe every week or so) this is something our department is very used to.I know comments are available to tag someone in a similar way, however, if the action is not completed after awhile, there is no reminder being sent. I would like there to be another email trigger to this person to check that action (or that comment they were tagged in)Ideally, I would like an email trigger without having to use a comment. Only @someone anywhere in the board, would be great.

    Import mind maps from other appsOpen

    I’ve been using MindNode for a long time and have lots of mind map templates, and mindmaps that I’m using. It would be great to be able to import these into Miro. Is that possible? Thanks

    Sending pictures in commentsOpen

    Sending pictures in the comments would be fantastic! For those who share the bords with clients (who can ONLY COMMENT) it would be really useful to give the clients the opportunity to share their thinks in a simple way, as an example of their ideas, by sending a picture. Sometimes the description is not enough! :) thanks :)

    Export voting to CSVDelivered

    There seems to be no way to export voting result data at all. We use Miro for workshops with large groups of people on separate frames and want to be able to present voting in plenary after the workshop without having to type everything by hand.   Even better: if the data exports in CSV format, we could make a graph to show the number of votes per option.

    Support for admin notification emails not tied to userOpen

    We would like to have “new user”/license requests send to our helpdesk (via email). This email address is not a ‘person’, but just a distribution list. Current Miro config requires SSO to be all on or all off and that notifications have to go to a ‘fully registered user’. We already have SSO enabled for our environment so I either need to disabled for the company to forge a way for this “admin” to sign in once or circumvent SSO for this one ‘fake account’.

    Hi all,it would be awesome to not only have notifications when mentioning someone in a comment, but also when assigned to a card. This would be awesome to manage projects within Miro. Also, a due date reminder would be super helpful. Many customers request this when they evaluate using Miro for project management. Thanks & all the best,Christiane

    Guests want to use PlantUMLOpen

    We use a variety of apps with our partners.Our partners use the Miro app as guests in our Miro Boards. We communicate many things within the Miro app.We use PlantUML in various situations.However, we found that guest users cannot access or edit PlantUML.Our partners cannot join our Miro team because they don't have a Miro license.We found that Draw.io can be used with a guest account.This feature is necessary. Please enable the PlantUML feature for guest users.
