    Add Export to PowerPoint (PPTX) for PresentationsOpen

    It would be really helpful if Miro offered a basic export to PowerPoint (.PPTX) feature for frames used in Presentation Mode. 👉 Use case:Sometimes I need to share my Miro presentations with clients, stakeholders, or teammates who prefer PowerPoint for offline access, editing, or archiving. Right now, I have to manually recreate slides in PPTX or use workarounds like exporting images, which breaks the structure and makes it harder to edit text later. 💡 Suggested solution:  Provide an Export to PPTX option that converts selected frames into slides. Include basic text, shapes, and positioning as editable PowerPoint elements — no fancy formatting needed. Keep it simple but flexible enough for people to adjust slides afterward if needed.  ✅ Benefits:  Save time recreating presentations in other tools. Make it easier to collaborate with people who don’t use Miro. Improve cross-platform workflows for workshops and documentation.  This would make Miro presentations much more versatile and compatible with other tools! Thanks for considering this improvement! 🙏

    Co-ownership betweeen agenciesOpen

    The future is all about collaborations. Why is it not possible to have co-ownership of a board or space between 2 creative agencies (with their own MIRO business accounts)?!Both agencies are NOT interested in becoming team-members in each otters teams (not because of cost, but because of editing rights and being able to continue to work in their own environments, make use of earlier material to add on the boards etc)And both (2 people from the ) agencies need all rights on the boards (be able to guide guests, create high resolution pdfs’, etc)  - so that together they can facilitate an external ecosystem of players in a 2-year project. Please add this to your backlog !

    MY UPDATES sectionOpen

    Hello There! Is there a way to get all notifications from my boards in one place? My students work in their own teams and mention me in comments for feedback, but I have to check every board individually to find the notifications, especially if I dismiss them on my phone app by mistake.  It’s really overwhelming. Maybe there could be a central "My Updates" page where all notifications or updates from any board I’m a member of could appear?

    Parse moveToViewport in client to pan board without reload (like moveToWidget)Open

    I wrote a simple app using Miro’ Web SDK that generates a link to the current viewport. However, when I click on one of these links while on a board, a few instance of the board (i.e., a new window) opens up.The Ask: Immediately move the user to a location on the boardI’d like moveToViewport to be handled the same way as moveToWidget — so that when the URL contains moveToViewport, the board pans to the specified viewport on the current board instead of always opening a new window (to current board). (And less of a priority) Add a “Copy link to location” action to the canvas context menu, which would generate a link with the moveToViewport parameter. See the Wish List idea post for this second ask here.Use CaseCreating links to navigate a user to locations on the board without the need of creating anchor points (e.g., ugly frames or transparent shapes).The Bookmarks app by Miro Labs accomplishes this by using viewport.set.     Timeline - pivot to board viewOpen

    I enjoy using the Timeline feature, together with the pivot to a table view to add further details effectively.I could also see value in adding a further pivot to a board view. Similar to the current KanBan-style boards with cards that already exist on miro.

    Add Optional Description Text for Sticky NotesOpen

    I’d love to see an option to add an extended description to sticky notes in Miro — similar to how a Notion record can hold more details behind a simple card or line of text. 👉 Use case:When I run workshops or brainstorming sessions, a single sticky note often represents an idea that needs more context, background, or subpoints. Right now, I have to either:  create additional sticky notes to hold that information, cluttering the board, or put the text in a separate text box or comment, which can break the flow.  💡 Suggested solution:  Allow users to add an optional text description to any sticky note. Show a subtle icon or marker on the sticky note to indicate it contains additional text. The description could appear in a popup or sidebar when clicked, so it doesn’t overcrowd the sticky note itself.  ✅ Benefits:  Keep boards clear and organized without losing valuable details. Make it easier to share the full context of ideas during workshops and reviews. Enhance collaboration by keeping related info together in one place.  I believe this would make sticky notes much more powerful for both planning and documentation!Thanks for considering it! 🙌

    Different styling, especially Sketch or "Sloppy" line style as an optionOpen

    Many (myself included) like the “sloppy” shapes available in Excalidraw. Currently, using Caveat, it is possible to get a hand-drawn look-and-feel for text, but not for shapes and connectors. I know of many who prefer Excalidraw over Miro mainly because of the look and feel of the drawing. It would be really convenient to have that style as an option in Miro.

    Export from Miro to Mermaid markdown/jsOpen

    A feature to convert a Miro board to a block of Mermaid diagram would be a useful feature as there already is an app that allows you to bring Mermaid into Miro.Perhaps on top of this allow an integration with git to allow diagram as code collaboration models.

    I wish I could keep my own favorites of TemplatesOpen

    I want to keep a list of my favorite templates so I can quickly search here when design a board for an event. Of course if I have used a template then it does show up in my recent list or I can save the template in my personal category.As otherwise I have to search the full catalog.I see in Miroverse I can search templates and favorite them there., however in the Miro app I don’t have a way to look at the “Favorite Templates”

    Sticky Header/Hover of the Activities and Tasks and swim lane name for large mapsOpen

    The top rows of Story Maps are very important. Knowing which Activity and Task is represented in each column is crucial. If I create a lot of releases eventually the top two rows of cards move off screen. Then I need to keep the individual columns in my mind or constantly move back and forth or zoom. Same with a map that has a lot of Activities and Tasks eventually the Swimlane/Release name move off screen. It would be great if both the Activities and Tasks as well as the Release Name could follow the view if the user zooms in or scrolls them off screen. Could be a configurable feature per story map or automatic.  This would make navigating Story Maps a lot easier, this could even be combined with collapsible Activties and Releases to make Story Maps truly amazing.

    Drag & Drop functionalities on cards derived from timeline moduleOpen

    I have been using the timeline module to plan our team’s roadmap on a high level fashion, and I realized you can drag the tasks outside the timeline module, thus creating a card element. This is extremely useful as we can now move items from the roadmap view directly into planning boards (ie., Sprint board). However, the drag & drop functionalities don’t seem to work with these cards derived from tasks in the timeline module. For example, if I drag my name over one of these cards, it does not get assigned to the task, instead a name element just floats on top of the card. The same happens for estimations (Story points / T-shirt sizes). An idea would be to enable the same functionalities to these card modules as we have in the Kanban board cards (as an example). This will not only prevent confusion with different behavior on what is technically a same type of element (both are cards in essence), but will also allow all cards used in the board to be synced to a single source of truth, reducing the need for double work updating cards when something changes.

    Swimlane Estimate sum countOpen

    As we are using Miro swimlanes and work items with work estimates created using Miro estimation tool (tag Estimate: 4 for example) it would be super beneficial to be able to see the sum of the estimates in the swimlane summary. Currently it shows the count of items in top of the swimlane and it seems that it would be reasonable to show also the sum of estimates in the same place. Is there a way to configure this kind of behaviour on my own to my own Miro environment or could this be something that could be provided as a feature in standalone Miro? As the estimation tool “standardises” the Estimate: xx syntax for estimates this might be a good idea!

    Apple Vision Pro supportOpen

    I love Miro and I’m using it every day! But too my disappointment I can’t find anything on your webpage related to when Miro will be available for Vision Pro? Would be amazing with an app for VisionOS, since the iPad app isn’t working very well unfortunately.  imagine a huge Miro canvas on your wall/roof… 😍

    Multiple language support for Miroverse templatesOpen

    I published some templates in Miroverse and in the process came across the issue of language selection. Now I make templates in English, as it is the most universal language. However, users are usually more comfortable working with templates in their native language.It would be great if Miroverse would provide an opportunity to publish templates with support for several languages within one card. I have two suggestions on how this could be implemented:1. Multiple language versions of the template. The author independently prepares templates for different languages, taking into account the peculiarities of translation and localization. All versions are published as a single entry, where the user can choose the desired language.2. Multilingual content inside the template. For example, with the help of a special widget or a setting that allows you to switch language content in text fields. This approach has limitations, but for my tasks, it would be quite convenient.I hope that the implementation of such features will be useful for the international community of Miroverse authors and users.

    Revisions to the timeline templateOpen

    I really appreciate the basic function of the timeline template, but there are a few key elements that are missing that would increase its functionality.To start, when adding dates, there is no way to search by date. Rather, you can only see the dates per month. It also does not specify the year. If I am trying to add a date that is older than a few months, I have to manually click back to the correct year and month, and it becomes very difficult to keep track of the year I am in as it is not indicated anywhere until you select your date. When you are viewing the timeline in canvas view (not focus mode), there is no way to scroll across the timeline so it ends up taking up a lot of space on the board and visually is difficult to understand since all the information is presented at once. I also think there needs to be a more straightforward way of adding groups to your timeline. It is easy to add records. Perhaps this function could look more similar to swim lanes on the Kanban templates?

    Dashboard: Move the board overflow menu back to the left of the ellipsisDelivered

    Before the new Spaces dashboard was rolled out (around September 2024), the board context menu would open to the left of the ellipsis, e.g.:Board overflow position in old/pre-Spaces dashboard When the new Spaces dashboard was rolled out, the menu now opens above or below the ellipsis (depending on the position of the board and the available viewport.This creates two pain points, the first of which impacts me daily:More often than not, the user needs to scroll to find some options as they are not all visible. The ellipsis of other boards is obscured by the overflow menu.Example:Board overflow position in the new, Spaces dashboardThe AskPlease revert back to the old behaviour and move it to the left of the ellipsis. BONUSPlease make the template carrousel collapsible (or hidable altogether) as it contributes to my current issue (PS, I don’t use the carrousel).

    Add bulk enabling Co-Owners on multiple teamsOpen

    I think the Co-Owner option is great, but to enable this for the whole company with about 200+ teams afterwards is a lot of work.So the option to enable Co-Owners on a higher level would be great. Or bulk edit it :)

    No existing tool on the market offers the ability to merge breakout rooms dynamically, which is a key need when facilitating interactive sessions like Liberating Structures.As a facilitator, I would love to run a 1-2-4-All session online with 20 participants without the hassle of manually creating and reassigning breakout rooms at each step. Specifically: I want to automatically assign participants into pairs for the "2" stage Then, seamlessly merge pairs into groups of 4 for the next breakout round, without disrupting the flow of the session This functionality would dramatically reduce setup time, maintain participant focus, and enable fluid transitions between interaction phases — mirroring the ease and spontaneity of in-person facilitation, but online.

    Text opacityOpen

    Please  support the adjustment of shapes with text to have adjustable opacity. The use case? We wanted to share out a jeopardy-like board with our company after the workshop, with the funny title cards overlaying the answers…. but as we adjusted the rectangle overlays opacity, the text remained 100% opaque, impeding the readability below.

    Total Point count on User Story Mapping TemplateOpen

    There is a User Story Mapping Template that you can break down cards by release. In the title of each release it will automatically populate the number of cards that are in each release.  In the example below you can see a “3” after the release 1 title showing there are 3 cards in Release 1.  We point our stories based on level of difficulty of each story ranging from 1 point to 13 points or higher.  We would like to see a spot in each User story where we can enter the “estimate story point” and then have the total number of story points calculate and show at the top of each release, just like the total number of cards shows.  Below is an example of Cardboardit that we currently use that has this functionality. Thanks!

    Ability to edit Excel, Word, PowerPoint or PDF documents Uploaded to MiroOpen

    I have been using Miro to create virtual desktops for collaboration where I load documents relevant to the topic at hand as a reference. I currently add comments or sticky notes to denote changes to document, but if I could edit these document directly within Miro this would be a transformative experience that would save me a lot time, and increase the utilization of Miro for facilitation.
