Read Text from Images

This could be a challenging UX problem, but it could be oh so useful, and you could even claim it as an AI feature, so your bosses could get all excited about doing more AI hype stuff, which is probably at the top of their OKRs, and then maybe you’d all get an extra pizza party while they go on retreat at St Barts. 😏

My first thought was you could enter some kind of mode that allowed you to select text from a screen cap or image. Much like the experience in OSX Preview. Another idea is to select the image, access the AI button, and from that menu select “Extract Text” or something like this, and have the system invoke a new text box with all the text in it. Formatted as similar as possible would be great, but even if it was just plain text in one size/style of font, so we could pick out what we need would be excellent.
