I recently logged in after the Christmas vacation and every single one of my 30+ Miro Boards are missing. I tried to search for the boards via board name, and also for any boards owned by me, or any boards owned by my user-name. All of them came back with zero results. Our administrator can find the boards and they still appear to be owned by me, under my name, but I can’t find any of them. My IT crew did migrate my account from one email address to another (it’s a BIG organisation), and this originally didn’t have an impact. 6 months on however, I’ve now lost access to all. They reinstated my previous team access however none of those boards are visible using the search function either. I can however access the boards if I’ve stored the URL and password and use those to access. Problem is that I can’t remember the names of the recent boards created just before I went on leave, so I can’t get our admin to search for them for me. All boards that I can locate require me to log in with a
Hi there, I can see this has been an ongoing request for 2 years (?). Is there an update at all of when this product feature will be rolled out? It seems to be a great blocker for many people including myself and my team. Any update on this is appreciated. Thanks
When I create boards for training, I lock absolutely everything that I don’t want participants to move, because it often happens that new Miro users will accidently move something, and then be completely distracted when they try to figure out how to undo what they did my mistake. My boards can also have a lot of content. I create backgrounds that I lock and put movable items on top of them. Many of you do the same.Locking things and then unlocking them again to modify, rearrange, or adjust them takes a lot of time. It’s not effective to drag-select multiple items to lock them when you have many things mixed in that you don’t want to move. And I want to lock the frames too, of course.Another difficulty with locking and unlocking many items in a bulk lock is when I might want to unlock and adjust only a few items leaving most of the board safely locked. So I end up Shift-clicking on dozens of objects to lock them, in batches or at once.Has anyone discovered any tricks or best practices f
I'd like to purchase my own account but am a guest on others already - why won't Miro let me do that?
Hi,I’ve tried to find the answer before posting here, apologies if I somehow missed an obvious solution. (My assumption for the moment is that the error or misunderstanding is mine as a new user rather than a support issue.)I’m a consultant who first encountered Miro while working with a client, and registered for a Miro account per the prompts that accompany guest entry. A second client also began using Miro and I’m part of some of their teams as well. So far so good! Now though, when I try to purchase a business account for my own company’s use, the transaction fails because it appears to somehow be associated with my client instead of me. (Per discussions with my bank’s credit card fraud and security arm, who could see the transaction attempt but mismatched information.)Is my company name and email somehow permanently associated with a guest registration instead of being a master identity below which all my Miro activity would appear on a dashboard of some sort? I want to have my own
Fellow Miro Heroes,I am having an issue with embedding a Miro board into another Miro board using an iFrame. Previously, the thumbnail or preview of the embedded board was displayed, but now a generic thumbnail is shown and the iFrame has a 16:9 aspect ratio. Is there a way to revert to the old way of displaying the thumbnail, or to customize the thumbnail that is shown? The old method looked much better and I have tried various solutions without success. Here is an example of the difference between the old and new iFrames: [old iFrame (left) vs. new iFrame (right)]. Thank’s in advance!Said
When I left click on a child node the cursos changes to “box select” items and it doesn’t open the node itself. I’ve cleared cache on Chrome, Incognito mode, Miro app and nothing worked. It’s a really important mindmap and it took me hours to build it. Please help me!
Hey, I’ve tried to inquire Sales team regarding Enterprise license for four times now, unsuccessfully. We’re a big fan of Miro product, and we would really like to implement into our workflow, though Enterprise license is the only option we consider. I’ve inquired for four times, over the past 7 weeks. Did someone maybe faced similar issue? Is there a more “direct approach” to get a hang of somebody from sales? :) Thanks!
Hi Everyone. I want to create a whiteboard with very specific functionality and can’t find any information to know whether this is possible, so I’m hoping someone will be able to tell me :) I want to create a whiteboard that I can list workplace issues that were identified through a staff survey, and the solutions that have been put in place. Then I would like users to be able to add their feedback comments in such a way that they can see their own comments, but not anyone else’s. Ideally the user wouldn’t be identifiable. My manager and I would be able to see all responses. I realise this is similar to the information you’d get from a survey, but I would like it to be open continuously and to evolve as we implement more changes...rather than death by survey every couple of weeks :). Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks in advance.
Hi there,I was wondering how I can see which board those people have actually access to?I cannot find where it shows? I have a team plan. It’s only me being admin and member. All others were invited via board link or Email to the according boards. Thanks in advance for your feedback, best regards, Cerstin.
I use Miro in the app. This might have changed in a recent update but I used to be able to “Select preview area” under the board name. Now it shows “change thumbnail”. Where can I select preview area? I looked at this thread https://community.miro.com/ask-the-community-45/unable-to-set-preview-area-8172 but this user uses the browser. But I am missing “Select preview area” shown below in the app.
Hello! I’m super stoked on the XD Miro plugin. Seriously excited as this is going to expedite my teams workflow fo sho. Now here’s the question… Is the quality of the import fixed as it is now or is there a possible plan for settings or permanent improvement? It is considerably less quality than when copy pasting an artboard in from XD. It wouldn’t be a big deal but copy is nearly illegible and we use miro for copy writers to make comments on changes. Any feedback would be appreciated.
im having problems dragging images from drawify and google images on to the board if i double click it it adds it to the board but i use to be able to drag the images to exactly where i wanted to be on the board now i have to search all around the board and it extra extra small making it hard to findwhat happen to the drag and drop functionality
I linked up my Google Drive, then created a new Google Doc in the same account, then went over to -upload-google drive-found the file -select and it gives me the issue below where it says its not found. I thought it might be a permissions issue, so I changed it to ‘anyone with a link can edit’ but still no dice. any thoughts?
Hi there. We want to run a workshop in Teams using Miro. We did a dummy run and the people in the breakout rooms couldn’t see anything- the screen sharing worked for the main room (it actually worked in one break out room with screen sharing but then there was nothing to see in the other breakout rooms or back in the main room). It looks like it is just one room at a time. So the question is this: can you collaborate on the same Miro board simultaneously in different break out rooms in Teams? It seems to me that is fundamental to running a workshop. Do you need different copies of the same board for the rooms? Many thanks
