How to change the background color to white without using a frame?

I couldn’t find edit button for the post I wrote.

I’m having trouble with changing the backgroud color. I remember there used be to an option on this menu, but now I can’t find it. Help me please 

It seems that when I select multiple objects and create a frame the frame is created somewhere else, but not around the selected objects. To me this is counter-intuitive.Maybe I’m doing sth wrong since this seems to me the natural way how it should work and I know Miro for its intuitive UI.So to make things clear: If I select one or multiple objects and click to create a frame I like the frame to be drawn around the selected object(s).

Hi everyone!Today got this case:A gave a link for my board to PersonA. PersonA requested the Edit rights and another user (PersonB) who already got the Reader access gives Edit rights to my board to PersonA. What??? If it matters: Free Plan, Me and both PersonA and PersonB logged in with Google Account

When working in the native Mac Miro application, when I have multiple boards open in multiple tabs, I want to be able to move between them with the standard Mac keyboard shortcut for moving between open tabs: CMD+OPT+[Left/Right]] This is especially useful when:I’ve set up multiple boards to show in a presentation and I want to quickly bounce between them I’m working in one board, but referencing another, and want to jump back and forth quickly

I have an 8x10 pdf but when I export it it shows up nearly 10x12. Is there a way to accurately export the pdf dimensions? I created an 8x10 template and imported it as an image into MIRO and did not scale them.

Hey Community,as I use Frames all the time especially since miro improved the presentation abilities on the board 🙂.But what happens the last days is very confusing: as the frame is set white by default and not transparent any more I had to chance its color to ‘transparent’ (...is that a color!? 🤔). But whenever I refresh the board or reopen it after a while it turn back to white which totally destroys my presentation layout… 😡Is it a temporary bug or just a ‘setting problem’? Anyone a clue?This is how it should look:...and this is what happens all the time. 😩

Hi all,I have been using the Miro API for a few months now to duplicate one of my boards, and it has always worked without any issues until yesterday when I started receiving "[403] One of the requested features is not supported." errors.I really don't understand what could be causing the error since I haven't made any changes to the request, and my Miro account hasn't changed its plan either (I'm on the Free plan). In short, I haven't made any modifications, so I don't understand why I suddenly have this error.Here is the request I am using:Thank you in advance for your help !

HelloI have an educator paln and have been using Miro with my studnets but for some reason my students are now unable to download the documents I uplaod for them on the boards. they have a visitor profile with editing rights. Am I doing something wrong?Thank you Rachida

I want to know how to export BOTH the state text (the text in every box, triangle, etc.) and the text on each transition between states (i.e., the lines between states) in a Miro flowchart to a CSV. Is this possible and, if so, how?  Thanks.   

Hi All,I’m new to Miro from an admin perspective and have been asked if there’s any way we can report on how many of our users are using Miro through WebEx or Zoom; whether this type of reporting can be done from Miro or if I need to use WebEx/Zoom to report on this, I’m not sure.I understand this type of request is likely not possible with out-of-the-box reporting and may require reporting via API.Many thanks.

I noticed recently that I can’t import screen-captures anymore when using the browser version of Miro. I have to go the extra step to export screen-captures into jpgs if I want to place them in the Miro board. Is this a bug, or the .png format that a screen capture is saved as is no longer supported? I really hope it is only a bug as it is a pain in the neck to have to do all that extra work that is unnecessary. This option worked before in previous releases.  

Can multiple arrows create a "heat map" when more arrows are on top of each other? I am creating a flowchart and arrows are often layered on top of each other, either the whole path of the arrow or when more arrows start at different points but merge into the end point. Can Miro then show this by displaying the arrow line thicker or creating a increased color intensity etc?

Hi,  The Miro app on my IPad is getting in a loop of opening several times already. I am new to Miro. But is very frustrating. I already removed the app and re-installed it several times, but there is no change.  Thx for helping outAnne 

I’ve been using Miro whiteboard with students for 3 years and love the interactive ability of the toolbar, particularly the pen and text box features. Yesterday for the first time, a student using a Mac had an issue with the pen functionality (could create text boxes, use the select feature, etc.). Every time he selected it by clicking his trackpad, it would only allow him to place a dot on the whiteboard and he said he kept received a paused message. Has anyone heard of issues with the pen feature compatibility on a Mac? As an aside, many of my other students and I use Macs and none of us have experienced this issue. I’m wondering if it’s a setting somewhere on his machine with his trackpad that is preventing  optimal functionality. I welcome any advice or suggestions for troubleshooting. Thanks, 

I live in the non-occupied area of Donetsk region in Ukraine. I work as a teacher and use Miro to teach my students during war and bombshells. Recently I found out that I can't have an access to my whiteboards because app thinks that my city is occupied. How can we deal with this problem?

Screenshot of 4 seemingly identical cards, but with 2 having color borders on the left side, and 2 having color borders on the bottom. Can anyone explain to me why 2 of these cards have their color borders on the left side, and 2 of them have their color borders on the bottom? They were all created by duplicating the card above them. I can’t find any setting which controls where the drop shadow/color border shows up. Changing the color has no effect.Also, it’s subtle, but the corner radius is different, and the border thickness is different for the different versions as well.

I use Miro in the app. This might have changed in a recent update but I used to be able to “Select preview area” under the board name. Now it shows “change thumbnail”. Where can I select preview area? I looked at this thread https://community.miro.com/ask-the-community-45/unable-to-set-preview-area-8172 but this user uses the browser. But I am missing “Select preview area” shown below in the app.  

The existing Team Admin and I have been trying to follow this guide to change ownership of our team from her to me. However, in the Team Settings page, she cannot see the three dots to the right of each user that would allow her to change their status or delete them from the team. Is this a known issue, and is there any way to get around it?

Hello,Over the last month I noticed that performance felt drastically while moving multiple objects on the board. You can check it on the video:Recording-20230301_105422.webmI could blame it on the size of the board (3000 elements) but moving the whole frame with multiple more elements is much faster and works almost smoothly:Recording-20230301_110104.webmWhat could be a reason behind it? Right now working with the board is almost impossible.
