We are looking to create some boards to replace static content that is currently on whiteboards using printed magnets. I began building a proof-of-concept on my computer (FHD / 1080p), and all seemed to be going well. (We would be using sticky notes heavily, as they perform the same function we currently have with magnets.)However when viewing on a 4k screen, the resolution / pixelation on the sticky notes is TERRIBLE. When the entire board is viewed the text inside the sticky notes isn’t even legible.Has anyone else had issues with image clarity / resolution at 4k?

I see Miro has a ton of business strategy templates. I was curious if there is a template based on the E-Myth strategy.Thanks!

Hey guys, Miro is awesome, and to learn more awsomeness of miro I have been playing with miro SDK. I know how to create widgets like card, stickers, lines etc. I want to link one widget, lets say sticker A to some other shape in the same board. Visually, we can do this by selecting sticker A, then “ctrl + k” and selecting the target shape in the board. But I cant figure out how to do this using SDK. PS:- One alternative is to wrap the text of sticker A inside <a href="link to the board object here”>TEXT</a>. But this makes the text a hyperlink, not exactly what I want to accomplish.  

I have a free account and experimented for one project with a colleague who has made an account to join in my team. Now this colleague wants to use Miro for another project in which I’m not involved. He has made a board which automatically is part of my account, which causes a problem because my 3 free boards are taken.  How does my colleague, who already made an account to join my team, make a free account of his own in which he can have his own 3 free boards (and not using mine)?  Thank you! Floortje 

I was searching for a way to enable contributors to contribute without exposing their content to the group until the facilitator exposes them.This is really helpful in retrospectives so that participants do not influence each other with their input. This feature does exist in Mural (private mode).It also exist in free tools like metroretro but here the participants need to expose their stickies to the group (Not really handy for facilitators to rely on the group). Is it correct that this feature is not available? If so is there already a feature request for this feature?

When collaborating with others, we traditionally stand at a whiteboard with something drawn on - let’s say a database diagram. Then someone points at an object or relation and starts asking questions. How do I point at objects in miro? I know I can display everyone’s cursor, but how do I make it clear to everyone what I’m talking about when I’m asking a question? We tend to be 5-10 people in the room, and just finding which cursor is mine isn’t always done instantly.Especially with the excellent zoom features in miro. Other people might be zoomed in on other things when I ask my question. So my objects (and cursor) might be outside of their field of view.

Sorry if this has been asked before… Is there any way to ‘lock’ the edge of a board so that you cant go any further left, for example. I have a list of tiles that I want to always be on the left of the board, and no one should be able to put anything before them.

Hi everyone! We’re just setting up Miro (with Business plan) in my organization and figuring out how to give team members access without escalating the Day Pass consumption. I’ve checked this article, this video from one of the community answers and this one from Miro course about inviting people to collaborate as Guest Editors whenever there’s no confidential information at risk (which is sometimes the cases and we’d like to avoid consuming Day Passes for these meetings).One of the benefits mentioned for Guest Editors is that “they don’t need to sign in”.Which got me thinking what happens if our team members are invited as Guest Editors but they’re previously signed in and set as Occasional Collaborators (and therefore eligible for Day Passes).When we share the link to invite people anonymously as Guest Editors, what exactly happens with our team members who are Occasional Collaborators and whom we want to invite as Guest Editors as well?Do they click the link and become Guest Editors

Hey all, I wanted to find out if what I am seeing is expected behavior when it comes to integrating a MS Excel workbook. I pointed to an excel file that is on OneDrive (and also have dragged and dropped) onto a Frame in Miro. I also did this with Google Sheets and Google Drive.MS Excel and OneDrive (left image)I’m only able to see a maximum of 2 columns and I have to click the left/right arrows to see the rest of the worksheet Large empty whitespace for the border of the content Double-click opens a zoomed version of the document. The remaining columns are visible etc. But I am not able to edit.Google Sheets (right image)I’m able to see almost the entire worksheet (6 columns). I am able to do live edits.If I could get the same behavior from MS Excel as I am seeing in Google Sheets, that would be awesome.

I am a newb, for sure. I am using comments and I found that once I drop a comment, I can grab its header and move the comment body without moving the target (the end of the line stays) but once I place it and then click off of it, that position isn’t saved.If I go back into the comment, the comment body is back in the default position, off slightly to the right, which is in the way of everything I need comments for.Seems if I am able to move the body independent of the line, it should stay where I drop it, no?Thanks for the help.  

Newbie here. I used Miro for meeting facilitation for the first time today. It was a disaster.My meeting was in Zoom. I had a Miro board set  up with 5-across, 5-down post its for an anonymous AMA (Ask Me Anything). I dropped the Miro link into Zoom chat.It was easy for participants to use the link and access the board, but somehow they expanded the size of the board. It was HUGE. All 25 post its were in a horizontal line. I had to zoom in and move the board around just to read the post its. The clarity of the exercise was lost.What did I do wrong (so that I never do THAT again)?I’m using the consultant plan.

Is there a integrated miro command or any other way to detect when a miro widget gets created on a board? And even more importantly can we access it’s id and other data immediately as it gets created? The only solution to this that comes to my mind is to gather all current miro board widget id’s and compare them in certain time intervals against new widget id’s whenever the time interval triggers. This solution seems really dirty and inefficient to me though so I’m trying to ask here first to find out if I could theoretically implement some sort of a event listener for miro widget creation

I can resize a browser frame, but when I try to resize a phone frame it maintains the aspect ratio. However, the info doesn’t fit and I need to change the height to indicate scrollable content. How do I do this?

In text fields, we used to be able to be creative with our use of the space bar :) in the last few days that seems to have changed and now any amount of spaces in a text field will get reduced down to one. This has meant a lot of my frames of text now look strange and need to be reformatted.(to be clear, I mean “doing      this” no longer works, it would show “doing this”)There’s lots of good reasons to allow multiple spaces and feels like we’ve lost a feature?

I want to add a person to my board who already has a Mirò account on his own. Is it possible to do without any further costs?

It is important to know the identiy of the participants sometimes.To assist someone that has problems for examlple, how can I call him or her : “ hey “nice developer” come to board…not nice.Also during votations, could be very good to see the progress people are making when voting.some ideas on the way? 

Hi, I’m trying to use bringForward() and sendBackward() Miro board functions which I found here: https://github.com/miroapp/app-examples/blob/master/miro.d.ts (line 351 - 357) I assumed this only needs the widget id’s in an array but when I tried with some test data it doesn’t actually change the widget “priority” AKA doesn’t send them forward or backwards. Tried something like this: `sendbackward(arrayOfWidgets)` where arrayOFWidgets were a few selected widgets from current boardIs there a specific use case that has to be done like with miro.board.commands , where they have to be in a miro on ready block? Or am I missing something else?  Thanks for any suggestions

Our free team has a main board that we need to ensure stays collaborative and not view-only. Is there a way to pin this board so it will not be auto-reverted to view only? If not, we need that feature, such that reverting to view-only isn’t a function of when the board was created, but of the team’s prioritization of boards.

My colleague attended a practice and joined their team which is a free plan. Now she has created boards with some other colleagues inside our own company, but associated with the practice team, and I’m trying to move the boards, but it seems that the training team has to be a member?

Hi all!How do I set up my plugin to have settings on the Apps&Integrations page? I would like to give the user some configuration options.Alternatively, I guess this can be done with a modal view (to configure) and a hidden widget (to store). Is that a good approach? Are there better ways to let the user configure a plugin?Thanks for your help :)   

Hi I’m trying to export a board as a pdf or an image.  Mira says it  is exported - but I can’t for the life of me find where it is stored on my laptop.  I’ve looked everywhere including having checked the download folder several times. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hi Communinity, Does anyone know how long it takes to receive an email from Miro incase you perform a password reset? I would expect that would be more or less instant. But I have a member that didn’t receive any email after 30 min and still hasn’t.

I been using the mobile version bc es more easy and confortable to use from my phone at anytime and everything been normal until today. I uploded a jpg file in my board but i couldn't edit it, like size or move it.  I tried in others boards and it doesn't works...  i know i should use a computer o whatever but i really need to use it from my phone, so if anyone have an idea of how to fix it...    I also restarted my phone and the app, cleared the cache and nothing changes :( Edit: there's no new updates in playstore or something
