Does anyone know if it is possible to link a Word Document (say from Google drive) onto the Miro board so people can work on the document in Miro and then have the document save back into Google Drive? I see that it works with Google docs, but the formatting in Google docs does not always match with the Microsoft Word formatting.  I am starting a project on a manual re-write and need to have my team work on the Master document and save to it.  Any thoughts on a good way to accomplish that???

Hi, I am really sorry if this has been answered before.I have an educational Plan.It seems if I invite students to a board they are automatically added to my team? As you can imagine my team grows quite quickly with new classes and will reach the 100 limit very quickly.What is the process of inviting student to single boards without them being added asa team member? Thanks, Rikki 

Hi! I originally started using Miro for a class project with a team. The project since then has ended and no one uses the team anymore. However, I continued using Miro for my own personal use. Not realizing it was connected to my project team still, I created a board that I use for my own project planning. I’ve since realized that the board is still under this project team where I am not the owner. I would like to leave this project team and take the board I’ve been using with me and create a new team that contains just me. However, I’m on the free plan and don’t see a work around to do this except for swapping to a paid plan for a month. Is there a work around for this, or should I simply pay for a single month so that I can move the board?

Hello everyone! I have embedded a Miro board into my web app and have a button that modifies the iframe’s dimensions in order to show/hide the board. IF the Miro board is visible on page load, then resizing does not impact the board and it works perfectly. However, if the Miro board is off screen on page load, it shows up on resize with all text elements vertically shifted down one line as seen in the screen shot below. I tried to investigate the way that text elements are rendered on the Miro canvas but it’s quite a complex code and I got lost in the inspector. Any idea what may cause this issue? Hello,New problem with plugin authorization, we are using token authentication to get around the webplugin problem with the new method.The plugin constantly asks to be authorised, and the error below appears every time it loads.But a bigger problem, any action done in the APP Manager results in an error :The problem persists since yesterday, do you have any idea of how to fix it? Thank you,Regards, 

Hello,Form what I gathered with the free plan anyone in a team can see all boards. Currently, it’s only me in my team (and I’m planning to keep it that way because I don’t own a company, I’m just a student), but the scary thing is that when I try to add teams, I see there are some public ones with boards which all of a sudden I, a complete stranger, can modify.What I’m basically scared of is that my boards, too, can somehow be accessed by a random stranger just because mine is a free account.How do I prevent strangers from becoming members of my team is basically what I’m trying to get at?Thanks to anyone who will respond

Hi!I created an app and I’m trying to set the Web-plugin url but I’m getting the error “Bad request. Deserialization Error”. I tried changing the url to the one used by one app that is live now and I get the same. If I go back and open the app again the URL is saved but when I try to use the app in a board it’s not loading.Does someone have this issue or can help please?Thanks

I am creating this post as a means of documenting my findings for a Miro support ticket and to get the communities thoughts on what you think should be the expected behavior of the “Team and Board invite link” feature. I believe there is at least one bug here.NOTE: For all of my screenshots below, I have the Team Admin role.Team Invitation settingsFor the Free, Team, and and Education Plans, I see the following team setting - this example is from a Free Plan team: NOTE: I created the following board AND am still the board owner.With the settings as they are above, when I go into a board’s Share settings, this is what I see:This is as expected.Now I will start making changes:I enabled “Enable team invite link”​​​​​​Now let’s look at the board’s Share settings:It looks the same.Yes, it looks identical. However, I read this: **BUG?** So, if I am the Team Admin, where is the option in the board sharing settings?Let’s make another change:Now I set “who can invite users to the team”

I am trying to integrate miro in my react app. And I am currently facing these errors,“SDK Loaded” message is being printed on the console, but miro.onReady() function is not getting called. And if I try to call miro.isAuthorized() or miro.requestAuthorization(), then it’s showing me error (“is not a funtion” for both), even if “miro” as a variable is defined. From one conversation in the community, I found that we can put the ReactDOM.render function inside the miro.onReady function, but now even “SDK Loaded” is not being printed, and React app is also not being rendered.

I beleive I am getting the above error because I am not authorizing the app to work with the Miro REST API. However, I am not sure how to do this as I was confused by the documentation on the website. I would appreciate any advice to go about fixing this.

Hello,I'm having an issue when listening for the WIDGETS_TRANSFORMATION_UPDATED event.All widgets trigger this event on change (shapes, text, stickers, etc) except for the LINES.If you update a line alone, it does not trigger this event, however, if you update together a line and a shape, it does show the line on the data array.Example of the event working for a TEXT widget. 

Hi, I have been editing the board on my desktop. When I switch it over to my laptop, the whole board is pixellated. Not sure if I’m being blonde or whether it might be a rendering issue. Is it impossible to use Miro in Microsoft Edge instead of Chrome? If yes, is there any function that we cannot use or all of it is the same as Chrome?

Anyone know where I can find the Gantt chart in this Miro article as a template?The embedded chart is here (view only) It look significantly better than the current “Gantt Chart template” Miro provides in its standard templating but I can’t track it down anywhere and I have struggled to recreate it properly (grids doesn’t want to cooperate)

Hi, all,I’ve been using horizontal lists of sticky notes when ordering items.However, when I step away from Miro and then return, the sticky notes have been reordered (ex: the bottom sticky note is now at the top). I did nothing to request this. When I put the sticky notes back into their correct order, Miro will move them around again when I exit the screen and return. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can stop it from happening?I’m on a MacBook Pro running Big Sur. Thanks. 

I am using an iPad Pro 12.9, the Magic Keyboard with built-in touchpad. I would expect the same experience with a Macbook Touchpad. This is not the case. Two finger gesture does not move the canvas.  Two finger pinch does zoom in/out only erratically. I’ve tried the different navigation settings mouse, trackpad, touchscreen but there is no difference.  Tried in:miro native app Safari browser Chrome browser Firefox browseron iPadOS 14.4.2, latest version of miro app.  

While I was studying I created a Miro board, worked on it for over a year. The project I had been working on, my graduation project.  I had my account linked to my academy account. Unfortunately I graduated and my university disabled my account without a notification so I couldn’t change the email on the account.  Who can I contact to try SAVE my project? I’m so desperate, if anyone knows.

Hi,I followed the Jira cards Setup Guide and it almost worked, but I have been facing a problem that is not listed at the Possible Issues with Jira Cards.After following the setup guide and setting up things on Jira’s side, I click Connect at Miro’s Jira Card configuration screen and allow the permission, as showed below:But after clicking Allow, an error page shows up: And if I go back to Miro’s Jira Card configuration screen, the JIRA URL field will be still blank.I tried this process multiple times, but it didnt work.Checking at Jira permissions screen, it shows as if it allowed the permission correctly:I would appreciate any help with this.This Jira Cards add-in will certanly boost my productivity significantly.
