Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to hide the toolbars on a board?

I have my board embedded as an Iframe in my website, and would like my board to be viewable only without any of the editing options available. Currently all options are greyed out and inaccessible but I was wondering if it is possible to remove the toolbar completely?

Thanks

Kimbal

@Kimbal Bumstead - The only way I know of to hide the toolbars is to embed your board in “presentation mode”. From there, if someone wants to open the board, they can click on the board title/name. Here’s an example of this:

Here some more info on embed types in the Embedding Editable Boards into Websites Help Center article → https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016335640-Embedding-Editable-Boards-into-Websites.

And here’s a post about enabling Autoplay on embedded boards → https://community.miro.com/ask-the-community-45/embedautoplay-true-with-frames-4915

Example of no toolbars in website-embedded boards

Miro appears to have written some custom code which hides all toolbars, however, they have also chose not to share this functionality with us, their customers. This can been seen in the Miroverse and also when embedding boards in this forum, e.g.:

If you’d like to see this option available for all of us, I’d recommend adding this as an Idea in the Wish List category by following the guidelines here: Wish List: Everything You Need to Know.

If you do create a Wish List Idea post, I would also recommend that you post a link to it back here, so that future readers of this post can quickly get to and vote for your Idea.
