Hello, I am using Miro as a whiteboard replacement for my online quantum mechanics course at the University of Warsaw. So far everything is very smooth, the only thing that students have complained about is the fact that whenever I write something it appears inside a gray box with my initials. Sometimes this box does contain an entire word, but just a single letter (or even part of it), which makes it quite distracting. I understand that this is supposed to tell the others who is writing what but in my case, I am the only person writing on the board, so there is really no need for that.   Is there a way of switching off this feature so that no gray boxes appear when I write (either on my side or on the student side)?   thanks a lot! jedrek  

One of the things that I feel is lacking in Miro is an easy way to have "long-form" discussions.  I am coming from Basecamp where the discussions were more a bulletin board type of posting.  I am trying to find a smooth, efficient way to have similar conversations in Miro.  These discussions usually relate to individual images or full frames.  Cards seem like the most logical way, but I can't "@" someone to get their attention. Any immediate ideas? We also do a lot of project discussions in Slack, but it isn't tied to an individual board.  If possible, it would be best to do this all in Miro without plugging in an alternate app, though I guess I could create a Google Doc and have it accessible from inside of Miro, and I could @ people there.

This was  the weirdest “problem” I had with the program/site.What I create is apparently not private; unless I subscribe to  Miro forever?I cannot create any content for free; that could not be looked upon by anyone. 

There is a persistent frame in the middle of my board. I can’t move it, rename it, or delete it. I have tried both using the options in the ellipsis dropdown in widget above the board and from the frames sidebar. I am setting up a workshop for tomorrow.  

Able to Control the presentation like you can via zoom, or clubhouse.  This way you can control what the users are looking at.

I left my miro board to work in another program, when I opened it again I got a message saying that “You don´t have permissions to view this board. Hit the acces button to let the board owner know you want to get in” I chose request access and get an new message that "request has been sent, if the owner approves the request, you will receive an email notification” . But it is my board that I created while I was logged in and used for a week. Now everything is losed, or inaccessibele.    

I’ve been trying a variety of ways to install the Jira Cards add-on. I’m able to install the app, but then not able to connect my personal account. Do I need to be an admin to connect my Jira account? or did I miss some configuration?

For some reason, some of the images i’ve uploaded sometimes don’t appear when the board is reloaded until I move them. It’s not a time issue of the images taking too long to load. Also if an image doesn’t load it is for all users, not just myself.Has anyone ever had this issue? Is any way to fix it on my side or is it a bug with Miro.

does gifs? used ‘upload > upload via url > and its not showing the gifs also how to remove the extra link info that is attached to your upload? where is the option?other apps only copies/uploads what you wanted looks like it doesnt do this for youtube videos (very inconsistent ui design in this aspect/part)   

Dear all I have the problem, that I cannot export my board as a best quality pdf. Every time I tried, few minutes later the process of export is always interrupted by an error: “something went wrong …”.  Has this something to do, that Miro has a limitation of data volume? The board is filled with many images and many pages/frames. So maybe overwhelmed with the data size? Please help. P.s. i have a Miro license, so no free version. Thank you!

Hello, i have problem with ownership of a board. I see, that I am owner, but I can not edit it at all. Do you know why is it so? Please, do you know how to get access to my board?

Hi there, when you assign someone to a card on a Kanban should they get a notification and an alert when the activity is due?

I’d like to invite a focus group and have the participants evaluating a number of different ads in Miro by using the “comment” function. In order to avoid the risk of being influenced by other group members: Is there a way to make sure that only the user’s own comments are visible to them? If such a function doesn’t exist, it’s high on my list board!:)

Is there a way to view a log of:the invitations that have been sent for a board (with name, date, time etc.)? the content included in the emails for invitations?

The “save as image” function always leads to the same directory - which does in my case not exist anymore. Is there is a possibility to change this save-as directory to a different location?

Is it possible to add new connection points to a shape on a flowchart? Some of my flow chart shapes are getting a bit busy with just 4 connection points, can I add more?Apologise if I’ve missed this info in my search Janet

I'm using a free Miro plan to share a board with my student. From the very start, she hasn’t had a left toolbar (only a cursor). I've made sure that she's added to the team AND board with "can edit" access, we've checked if she can search for tools manually and return them to the toolbar as Miro community recommends in threads on this issue (she cannot, the search returns nothing).I have three active Miroboards, each shared with only one other person. I don't experience this same issue with my other students on other boards - only with this one student. What can I do to assure she has the right tools? All we need at our lessons are dragging objects (which she can do), text tool, shape tool and pen tool.

How can one check the board owner of a public board?Clicking on board name does not seem to work. There is no … menu either anymore.

My team members can see all my boards, although i have locked some for them (see picture). what is the reason? 

Hi Miro Community! Is it possible to utilize the SCIM integration to use Azure groups to control who has a Full license?Ideally we would want to not have license admin work go through the Miro app but go through Azure groups.  ThanksJoe 

Every time I set a password for my board, I need to paste the link copied into my notebook not to lose it. As an owner of the board, I can delete the password, change it but cannot see what was the password I have set. Several times week after a workshop participants asked me the password to access the board and I spent ages to check my previous messages to see what was the password. Now I am solving it but taking notes for everynote but I am sure there should be a easier way of doing this.  PS: I do not want to change the password, I just want to be able to see what was the password I set while I was sharing board.
