Hi everyone,I’ve just published a video on YouTube, that I thought you might like here in the forum! It’s covering 100 handy Miro tips, hidden features and shortcuts that I’ve collected over the last 4 years working with Miro and exploring probably all use cases.Link to the video → https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Bv8zaZRNB4Some tips you might be familiar with, but some I’m sure are knew for you since I also learned a lot things by trying to stretch myself to collect 100 tips, that are helpful and not-obvious.Making this video took us over 30 hours, plus another 25 hours for editing. So we hope you enjoy it! Let me know if you find it helpful/valuable and if you have any questions.P.S: And if you feel for it, leave a like or comment on the video to give our tiny YouTube channel some support 🙂

I am writing this post as there has been an uptick in users thinking they were missing apps or controls were disappearing. Here’s an example: This behaviour should be expected when your Miro board is being displayed in a way that there is just not enough space for all of the controls - some examples of this include:a small physical display + low resolution, e.g., 13-inch laptop with a resolution set to 1024×576 a larger physical display, but still set to a very low resolution your browser/Miro desktop app window is not full maximized. For example, here is what happens if I have Miro opened in a browser on my 14-inch monitor at 1920 x 1080 resolution AND I don’t have the browser windows fully maximized to fill the screen: Embedded BoardsThis may also happen with embedded board – viewing boards through MS Teams, Confluence pages, Google Meet, etc. Browser Zoom greater than 100%Another thing to check is your browser zoom level is at 100%:
Hi @Marina and fellows, I’m wondering if the Miro community could be built on Miro itself? Curious to hear your and others’ thoughts on this.

What skills do you want to develop in 2022?Personally, I’m super excited to learn how to be a better facilitator so I can feel more confident as a cross-functional leader? How about you? Drop your ideas below and let’s discuss how we can learn from each other!
Is no one talking about the Attention Management feature yet? This is so very welcomed and a major feature! Every session for a new group of training or workshop participants, it usually takes a while for participants to learn the "Watch my screen" instruction when I start screen sharing. Sometimes, participants didn't even see the blue 'Join' button (tip: Refresh browser/app if this happens) This Attention Management feature just shortened this entire process! Thank you, @Marina and team, more love and power to Miro :)
For a world-travelling facilitator and trainer, March 2020 felt like my entire professional world had collapsed. Borders closed, clients either cancelled or postponed engagements, and suddenly my professional calendar looked pretty empty. What can I do when most of my work requires people-to-people engagement and interaction? And then I discovered Miro, and what a journey it has been! Read about my experience and my ‘Top 5 tips to transition into a virtual facilitator’:https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/making-jump-transitioning-virtual-facilitation-isman-tanuri/I’d love to hear your thoughts and your own experience too in the comments. Tell us your stories!
Hey, I’m seeking a great visual to display all achievements made through a quarter for 3 different categories. I know miro is the place, but I can’t figure out which template to use. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would like to list the achievement, the time spent, and the impact of it. Thank you!

As a facilitator (both process & training facilitation), my choice of using Miro one year ago was driven by a single: a collaborative platform where ALL participants can engage and interact. The more active, the better! So, it’s really important to onboard new (and returning) participants onto Miro. Do it well and the experience will be tremendous. I take pride for meticulous onboarding regardless for a group 2 or 200.Here’s how my Miro onboarding has evolved over the last year!June 2020 - I started using Miro in April 2020 and this was one of the first paid client events done virtual. Basic look and at that point, anybody can unlock anything on a Miro board. It was dangerous times, but we love it! Current 2021 - This is how my Miro onboarding segment currently looks like. Any recurring challenges that participants continuously came across in my previous sessions are addressed in this view. The number of Miro tools that I demo are also context dependent. The shorter the event, the l
I started by creating some scrabble-like tiles as requested by @Thene Sheehy, but I couldn’t stop … So it turned out to become a whole scrabble game, that can be played on a miro board. It is not available at miroverse yet, as it still needs some minor adjustments and I want to test it with a few people in a live-game first. But it works out very well for a miro-game You can find a demo-video of the game here in my linkedin feed Have fun
Hey everyone! Brittni here to give you a short recap of yesterday’s EMEA V-MUG I know all of us are figuring out the best ways to work remotely these days and so lucky for us we had the amazing Lisette Southerland author of Work Together Anywhere: A Handbook on Working Remotely — Successfully — for Individuals, Teams, and Managers give us some pointers. We learned how to set boundaries, the current state of remote work and the future of remote work. We also got to participate in a breakout room session and use Miro’s awesome voting feature. Check out the video recording! Here are some questions from the V-MUG. Feel free to chime in! Which virtual office tools would you recommend? What virtual team building activities interest you? Hey Miro Community,I've been using Miro at work for a while now. From my experience, engineering, development, and product teams seem to be all over it. But I was wondering—do any of you from business, marketing, or sales teams use Miro in your day-to-day activities? We’ve been using Miro with our Sales and Marketing departments, and it’s been pretty handy. I'm curious if other organizations are the same way. If you’re from sales, for example, what are the unique ways you leverage Miro to do your work? Or, if your sales team is not using Miro, what challenges or barriers prevent them from doing so?Also, does anyone here use CRM tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or something similar along with Miro? We've built apps for Miro, such as Salesforce for Miro, to streamline our processes, and I'd love to hear if others have similar integrations or tips.I am looking forward to hearing about your experiences and maybe picking up some tips!Cheers!
Hi Miro Community,This week we’re highlighting a standalone video about linking objects. As you may already know, one of Miro’s super powers is that every object on a board has its own URL. This allows you to add hyperlinks inside the board itself, making it quick and easy to jump to a specific location with the click of a button. Watch the video in the standalone section at Miro Academy. How do you use linking in Miro? Let us know below!

This week, The Privilege Walk (Game) by @ricardo_sosa is the Template Of The Week (or TOTW). It’s a template designed to help players talk about and share their understanding of the impact of systemic privilege. Do you like this template as much as we do? Leave Ricardo a compliment here, his template on Miroverse, and feel free to share your favorite educational games and ice breakers in this thread! Voting makes template discovery easier for other members of Miro Community and supports those who are contributing to Miroverse in such a meaningful way. How do we choose TOTW? It’s a mystery! But upvoting helps!
