    Buttons and automationsOpen

    It would be great to have a buttons which take some actions like clicking to reveal a hidden frame etc. Buttons can be used to create all sorts of automations as in other software like Notion, coda etc. One of the operations could be reveal a hidden object / frame. One more would be to move the viewport to another area - basically sort of guided view of the board.

    Tags must be supported to all objects / groups of objectsOpen

    Tags seem to be limited to sticky notes. Tags should be supported on all objects and group of objects - even frames. That would make searching easier / clustering or other operations easier.

    Mindmap behaviourOpen

    When using mindmaps for planning, I often copy the content and use it as a basis when writing up tasks or project planning. However I find it very confusing why the sequence is moved out of order when copying the content. For example, the tree below seems to copy from top to bottom and left to right. I would expect it to copy following a tree-traversal algorythim like the depth-first search, or at least have an option to copy persisting “the structure”

    Cluster as part of frameOpen

    It would be really nice of clusters could stick to a frame. Frames are an excellent way of grouping content together, both visually and mentally. It would be really nice if clusters could attach to frames as “normal” items.

    Replacable parameters or more specific participant listOpen

    For multiple day workshops, I have many work areas, where I need to assign names to each area based on my participants. Would be great if I could use variables/parameters to identify the different names, and then once I copy a standard exercise into my workshop board, I just have to define the participant names ones, and every work area automatically gets named accordingly.This could be done with just general variables, or even better, with a dedicated participant list, and I could then in my exercise templates reference either: <Participant1> for the name, or <Initial1> for the initials.Maan … that would save a lot of time.

    Add missing feminine emojisOpen

    Hello Miro Team,We are using emoji for a creative design project and noticed the Miro is missing feminine emoji… there are at least 9 emoji that have “blue man” and “white nonbinary” people but are missing the “purple woman” version. Can you please add woman versions of these emoji to the library?

    Formula for adding numbers on post-its or gridsOpen

    Hi,it would be cool to have a simple way to add up numbers on post-its or in grid cells.We do a lot of voting, where every participants puts a number on a post-it or into a grid cell.It takes a lot of time to add them upp manually o to copy them into excel.Using integrations like google drive/sheets is overkill.Holger

    LTI (Canvas LMS) IntegrationOpen

    We adopted Miro campus-wide in the last few months. It would be awesome if there were an LTI integration we could add to our Canvas courses. Especially since they (Instructure) are giving all faculty and students free access to the Lucid Suite.     Timeline: possibility to hide completed tasksOpen

    It would be great if, when using the "Timeline" there was an option to hide completed tasks so that they don't clutter the view of what still needs to be done.Maybe it could be in the form of tags like "not started", "in progress" and "done" which can be filtered? I believe this would be really useful when working on large projects with changing scopes :)

    I love that we can use mailto links with text boxes, but it would be great if “subject” was supported. eg mailto:mail@mydomain.com?subject=Test or mailto:mail@mydomain.com?subject=Test%20Two for multi-word subject lines.

    Option to Change Origin of Shape Borders (Inner, Center, Outer)Open

    I find that I am often snapping shapes directly against each other.  When my shapes have borders (which they always do), the respective borders do not overlap to create a cohesive border thickness.  Instead, the boarders are side-by-side, resulting in a very thick, odd, and distracting appearance. Currently, the amount of manual shape-nudging I do is silly and time-consuming, but I feel that it is worth it because the other result is so ugly. This would be similar to how you adjust the stroke border alignment in Adobe Illustrator.

    Adding Thumbnail Images to Boards: Drag and DropOpen

    I create new boards frequently and I always use my own image files for board thumbnails.  It is always annoying to open a folder and hunt for an image file, when I could easily drag and drop my file directly into Miro to upload a thumbnail.

    I build program boards and other roadmap boards with jira cards. As it concerns plans in the future, “assignee” field is empty. I don’t need it, and it make the reading of the card more complicated.

    Page element load order - load "go to boards" firstOpen

    This is possibly a niche ask but it’s one that frustrates me daily so thought I’d put it here rather than continuing to grumble to myself: Probably about 50% of the time I open a new Miro tab, it’s not to access the board that is currently “idling” in that tab, but to get to another board that I don’t currently have open. If I’m in a hurry/not thinking about it, the process goes like this:Click on whatever Miro tab I have in my browser Wait for the page to load (which can take a while if it’s a big board) Click on the”Go to boards” button which is always the last thing to load. Find the new board, and open it Realise that I needed the board that I opened in the first place as well so open a new tab and wait for that to load.This can happen multiple times an hour when I’m busy.If I’m feeling particularly impatient I’ll shortcut 2 by just shorting the URL to Miro.com in the navigation bar, but it feels like maybe some kind of persistent or at least very fast loading menu could be good?

    Adding Transition Animation to Miro Boards (like in PowerPoint/Prezi)Open

    I use Miro a lot for Explaining concepts and User-flow Journeys to my team and clients.One feature that would be great to have is “Animations” (Appearing in & Fading Out) like PowerPoint has. The Objects within Boards can be made to appear in a certain Order by clicking on an animation Pane.It will make a beautiful Journey Diagram much more Explanatory and intuitive in a demo session. I wonder if this is in the Roadmap.

    Using Miro to capture user needs in a story map. We use stickies to represent the epics and needs but also tags to capture the themes.  It would be great to get a count of tags for the board or a dedicated area on the board.

    Easier management of teams/projects/boardsOpen

    Hi Miro and community! My team of ca. 30 continuous improvement managers is constantly creating boards for both one-off workshops and long-standing cross-functional sprints. Over the years all together we have created hundreds of boards.I am currently the team admin yet I have so little options to do a proper clean-up. Even in projects that were created by colleagues who made me a co-owner, I cannot delete the projects or boards that I didn’t create. It is also not possible to select multiple boards and do one action for all (e.g. move them all in one go to a different project/team). So currently all of us are spending hours going through all our boards in different projects and cleaning them one by one.On top of that, when colleagues leave our team, their boards are transferred to the admin at that time and Miro makes it look as if it were their own boards, meaning they cannot easily distinguish anymore if they created the board or just inherited it. If you could please have a look at the admin right to do proper maintenance of teams, that would make our professional lives much less messy :). Oh, and while we’re at it, it would be great to have some subprojects. It would allow us to navigate so much easier. Thank you, Melanie

    Making Miro More InclusiveOpen

    I  enjoy using Miro to facilitate global  online workshop . However, currently the Miro is not accessible for persons with visual impairment because it is not accessible with screen readers. Despite having a lot of features, I recently had to choose a different tool to include my colleagues  with visual impairment.If Miro wants to become  a leader for collaborators, it should consider making it accessible for screen reading. Moreover,  it would be great  if we could get the miro boards and sticky notes being translated in different languages so that language would not be a barrier to participate in collaboration  and ideation.

    Timeline Widget Sticky Date BarOpen

    Currently the timeline widget is in beta so it is understandable that it would have some limitations. However it would be nice if the finalized version of the timeline had ability to have a sticky date bar at the top of each record grouping. If the timeline has a bunch of records + groups you have to scroll to the top of the timeline widget to view the dates or zoom out which is not ideal

    Less Restrictions on Diagramming Shapes for Personal UseOpen

    I use Miro extensively for work purposes, and also have a paid plan for personal use ($10 / month). I’m based in South Africa so the relative cost is higher than other markets. Given that it’s not something I use all the time, I can’t justify spending $20 / month (or $192 / year) to access a lot of the most useful diagramming shapes. I totally understand it if you’re a busy user or using it for revenue generating activity, but it seems overly restrictive for a tool that’s not used a lot. I’ll be looking to revert to the free plan (churn) and rather use private boards on my work plan for some of the content as a result. I thought it’s good to leave this feedback somewhere rather than churn un-noticed.

    "Render Objects in Place" OptionOpen

    In the Miro Help Center, one of the troubleshooting suggestions to ease a large Miro project, is to “Make a screenshot, Upload it to the board, Delete the objects/drawing… If Miro made that possible with a right-click option, it would make the process a lot cleaner. Miro could become *infinitely* powerful, if those rendered objects could be stored, or backed up, in the background, available to be recalled, with a similar right-click option, to replace the render with the original objects again. In the digital audio world, we call this “freeze/unfreeze”. It allows for infinitely large projects to be handled in a single computer. When a piece of audio is “frozen”, it is locked, and un-editable, but that’s ok; it frees up computing power, to do other work. I’m working on a project with 28000 objects at the moment, and I’m really feeling the effects of lag on my (very powerful) PC. This large Miro project stalls my brand new flagship tablet, too. A freeze-function would allow me to keep working, without losing any of the objects, if I need to return to them at some point. Now I need to sacrifice some of those objects, it will be a time-consuming work-around, and it will make an ugly, disjunct Miro project.

    This is not a mind map node.Take any Miro object (sticky, rectangle, card, text, etc). I am calling them nodes.I would like to connect one node to many nodes, and vice versa from many node to one node, in a single operation.This would be very helpful while building information architecture or depicting relationships between pieces of information.This is a pain-to-do if there are multiple nodes (sometimes 100s) to connect to or connect from.   Suggested workflow 1.User selects the start node User clicks and drags from one of the connection nodes User press and holds ‘Shift’ button while selecting destination node. User continue to hold ‘Shift’ while clicking on multiple destination nodes User can also continue to hold ‘Shift’ and click and drag a rectangular border around multiple nodes The start node is connected to the multiple selected nodes. Suggested workflow 2.User selects the multiple nodes User presses ‘Shift’ and clicks & drags from one of the connection nodes from one of the selected node to another end node Each of the multiple selected nodes are connected to the single end node.
