    Show full list of organization users in people widget on private boardsOpen

    The intelligent people widget is currently limited to users, which have access to the containing board. In order to use the tool in a private group of people (e.g. on management level) to work a the structure of a department it would be of great benefit if the widget shows the full list of co-workers and not only the ones who have access to the board.

    Bring back Undo/Redo for TablesOpen

    Tables used to allow undo and redo of actions which changed the table structure such as adding a column or or removing a row. Now it seems that functionality is gone. This makes it very hard to work with them as any mistake in the structural change cannot be corrected easily. Please bring back undo / redo for table structural changes.

    Access to the board by invitation for users who are not allowed to register with Miro - do it like GoogleOpen

    In some cases, users are not allowed to register with Miro (company policy). Of course, access could be granted as link sharing. At the same time, it would also make sense to copy a function from Google Workplaces!In Google Docs, for example, you can add ‘test@example.org’ as a co-worker.test@example.org then receives a personalised link to the file.After test@example.org has opened the link, an email with a one-time code is sent to test@example.org. The code must then also be entered before the Google Doc can be opened.This means that test@example.org does not need a Google account to work on the document. However, it is still ensured that only a person with access to the test@example.org mailbox can edit the file.Something like this would also be very helpful for Miro, precisely because it enables better collaboration even in the event of restrictions imposed by the company.

    Creating a template for the whole network of boards with all the links, etc., between themOpen

    It would be awesome to have a template of connected boards that I can easily copy for different people. This way, all links between boards point to the right copy (dynamically updated to the right board copy), and I don't have to update them each time I make a new copy.

    Search for boards that are not part of any projectOpen

    I want to reorganize my boards and, in particular, have them all organized by Projects. Currently, I can't easily view all boards that are not part of any project. It would be handy to have a filter in the search box allowing me to do so, and then have the possibility to act on all or part of them in bulk.I use Miro to interact with my students (teaching) and colleagues (research).I find it challenging to organize boards in projects when it is not me who has created them within my team.A possible solution would be to have the possibility filter in Advanced Search for boards that are not part of any project.

    Connect Mind Map Nodes From Any SideOpen

    Currently if you would like to show a relationship between nodes in different segments of a mind map tree, you can do so using a handle from the top or bottom of the node itself.  However you cannot do it from the front of the node.After connecting, you can change the connection from the top/bottom handle to the front handle manually. But you cannot create a connection betwee nodes from a front handle.Reproduce:Create Mind map (A) Create branch (B) and (C) Off of branch (C) create (D) and (E) Click Branch (D) and drag line from top handle to (B) Drag line via (D)’s top handle to the front handleThis being done automatically by clicking on the (+) and draging to another node would be really useful.. unfortunately that moves the segment completely.  If for example you have multiple entrypoints to the same node it is very difficult to envision… maybe I am just using the wrong tool, but I feel as if it would improve quality.Additionally this makes it easier to route lines without having them go through other nodes.

    Protobuf Syntax Support for Code BlockOpen

    Simply put, Miro is a great tool for collaborating on design, and for solidifying on architecture.Protobuf is a serializable structure which allows one to easily create common structure for data exchange across multiple languages.Support of this would allow for easier collaboration on code snippets relating to the interfaces of a distributed application.

    Save and Discard Button with Warning message in Admin ConsoleOpen

    Dear Idea Listener, Recently we have been upgraded to Enterprise and currently dealing with lots of changes. During this migration and after a recent issues we have realized there is no Save and Discard Button with Warning message in Enterprise Admin Console.Even by mistake if someone click on something it can impact all users and boards in miro, this is super sensitive and high risk at the moment. Any products admin console offer this basic Save and Discard Button with Warning message.Can someone consider this high priority ideation?

    Tool for online quizzes for teachingOpen

    Hello, it would be great if there would be an integration of a quizz-tool to create online quizzes for teaching. It should give the ability for me and the clients to see what answer was right or wrong and different kind of questions: Multiple Choice Fill in blank Short Answer True / False And additonaly I should be able to give points to answers for instance 15 points for answer where 3 out of 5 are correct (for each correct answer 5 points) It should give me also the ability to set a time for the quizz and that a user can’t go to refresh to start the quizz again ... And as top Feature: After the quizz is done the ability to get out a pdf-file or something like this wich says: Congratulations … xyz … has finished the quizz …. with …. points … As the inviter to this quizz I should be able to get a mail about the result of the finished quizzes. This is my biggest wish to this … optional it would be great if you could go any steps into this directions (a minimized quizz tool will help for the first time)   Michael

    Open desktop app from web browserOpen

    I frequently am shared links to teammates Miro boards, which always open up in browser and I think have to work back to understand where it is stored in my workspace so I can find it in the desktop application. A link/button to open from the browser into the desktop application (or ideally, a method to directly open the desktop app from a shared link) would help speed up my overall workflow and cut down on confusion.

    Miro tablet for left handedDuplicate Idea (closed)

    Hi, first time hereBasically I would like that Miro allow its users to move the vertical toolbar from left to right. I am lefthanded and I use Miro for taking notes and do homeworks with my friends. Every time I have some problems because with my wrist or palm I accidenlty press some tools (for example the frame, comments, or post-it). This is really a problem for me becuase every time I need to stop writing, go back, and fix the problem.My idea is to allow users to choose to have the vertical toolbar either on the left or on the right, so that all left-handed people will not have this problem anymore.

    When dragging a sticky note to kanban board turn it into a cardOpen

    As cards are more useful in a kanban board but Sticky Notes are useful in many other aspects.. Combining those features would be useful. You can have things like backlog or just a sticky notes billboard with things. And then you find out that this needs to be prioritiezed so you drag it into your kanban board. It would be useful to make it so that it will automatically turn into a card when you do that.

    Allow board owner to clear author metadata on stickies and objectsOpen

    Provide a way for the board owner to clear the author information on stickies and objects.  The specific use case that brought this up was a “private mode” brainstorming session in which I forgot to select the “make names anonymous” option.  Now, I would like to share the results of that session while maintaining some sense of anonymity for the participants.  My alternative right now is to export the board contents and share it in an icky excel sheet.

    Hold one shape in place while aligning othersOpen

    In other similar software the way the alignment tool usually works is that the element you select first is leading. So if I select three elements and hit ‘Align horizontally’, then the first selected element doesn’t move while the other two are shifted left or right to align their centres with the first one.In Miro this doesn’t work. The order of selecting has no effect, and the software seems to decide whether to move one or both. That makes it really annoying to add a shape and align it with existing ones.I tried locking the one I want to keep in place but that doesn’t work because you can’t select a locked shape.I tried moving them around to see if Miro prefers to keep the top or bottom shape in place but again no luck.Adding this (keep the first selected shape in place) would make it much easier and more intuitive to move shapes around.

    MS ToDo integration for CardsOpen

    What is your use case? Having one place to see all my ToDos, from everywhere (desktop, smartphone, ...) at any time What problem are you trying to solve? Working with many miro boards, and using them as task-buckets, gets really messy. Tasks are forgotten or never been noticed, that they have been created by somebody else. There is no clear overview. Not in Miro, and specially not over my own Todos, which are created in multiple systems. Is it a critical feature that blocks you from working in Miro and being productive, or is it a nice to have feature?Its not business critical, but stops me from using miro at its full power. Also it would make sure, no tasks are missed. What is a possible solution for you?I would like to integrate Miro with MS ToDo, to have one overview of all my tasks regardless where they were created (Office 365, Outlook, Miro).This way it would be possible to brainstorm on multiple miro boards, but work on a single to-do-list.It would be great, if for each miro-board, a separated list in MS ToDo would be created, and shared amoung all miro-board users. On this list, each card that has been created on a Miro board, should be shown with a backlink to the board, and the assigned user.Each user now can assign these MS ToDo tasks to their daily working bucket, and solve them.

    Enable Advanced Shapes for Starter Plan (Individual)Open

    Hi Team,I have recently bought a subscription for Miro as a Starter Plan as an Individual and (NOT as a business user) as an evaluation. I am using Miro as a Knowledge Map for my learnings and reference. I would like to know whether there is a possibility to enable Advanced Shapes for this plan. I saw that this feature is available under Business Plan/ Enterprise Plan only but I am not a Business/Organization, just a simple individual user who is already paying Miro in Starter Plan. My account won’t even have team members, and it is less likely that I would be using any other feature as of now.

    Archive Projects & BoardsOpen

    A bit surprised that no one has requested this simple powerful feature yet, my team’s boards is a total mess, it would be great if we are able to archive Projects mainly, boards archive would be nice to have but it wouldn’t substitute the projects. This is especially helpful for Agencies and Freelancers who work with many projects a year, right now the only way to keep the directory clean is by by up the projects and deleting them, which is not fun when you have many boards within a project.   You guys are doing a great job with the product, but i really think it’s time to look beyond the board features and look after the directory and the organizational issues a bit, thanks.

    Support of background colors and JIRA labelsOpen

    Hi Miro,We have recently started to use a Jira cards for Miro extension during our Program increment planings.Although it is a great feature. We would welcome few improvement that could significantly improve usability of the extension:1. Possibility to adjust visuals of the JIRA cards - or simply possibility to change background/frame color would be great. So we can visually distinguish easily between various Epics on the first sight when we glance over the board. 2. Adding possibility to configure displaying of JIRA labels field. Sadly one of the most useful field is missing from the available options.3. Ability to display Epic name/alias - not just Epic JIRA ID. Thanks, Martin.

    Navigate canvas via scrollingExisting Feature (closed)

    To be able to use the scroll wheel to navigate vertically and use shift + scroll wheel (or the horizontal scroll wheel, which certain mouses have) to navigate horizontally. As the scroll already zooms, the user could hold control or something, and have an option to switch between default scroll actions.So if someone changed their default scroll option to navigate, they would have to hold control to zoom, vice versa. Please and thankyou.
