I like presentation mode and I use it for interactive training with a group. Quite often I will prepare a sequence of several frames and some of them have interactive elements - I want participants to move things around or create sticky notes on a frame I’m showing in presentation mode.

The problem I observe is it’s too easy to select the background frame and press ‘n’ to create a note, but instead update the frame title. It’s frustrating because you press ‘n’ and can’t see any effect because the frame title is hidden in presentation mode. Many of my frames end up with their title removed and replaced by ‘n’ because participants don’t realize what they are editing.

The behaviour I’d prefer is that if you click on the frame itself in presentation mode, nothing is selected. If you then press ‘n’ you get a sticky note.
